Nuntanat studied cinema and fine art photography at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and the Glasgow School of Art. In 2013, He was selected to attend the film factory programme at the Sarajevo Film Academy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is conducted by a renowned Hungarian filmmaker, Bela Tarr. At that time he studied cinematography under the tutelage of Fred Kelemen, a German cinematographer and director.
He has exhibited and screened at major film festivals including Venice Film Festival, Leeds International Film Festival, Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival, Split International Festival of New Film, Kaohsiung Film Festival, and Busan International Film Festival.
