After moving to Tokyo she started at Komatsugawa High School, but entered the movie world at the age of 15 and dropped out. She joined the Enomoto troupe Casino Foley in 1930 at the age of 18. She then she starred in many films and plays from the 1930s to the 1940s, and became popular as an intelligent modern girl actress.
Her main appearances include "Enoken no Mori no Hikage no Kazura", and "Ima". She retired from the actress business after World War II and returned to the United States, where she had moved after appearing in "Ima", with her husband to live in Hawaii.
She died at the age of 94 in a Hawaiian hospital on September 14, 2006 due to a stroke. Edit Biography
