Episode III: The return of of He Lan Dou and Cao Yuchen

Oh my God......About this drama i could talk hours and probably i'll do, because people need to know, "I show you how deepthe rabbit hole goes". When I discovered that the directors/ screenwriters Zhen Yong Bo and Zhen Yong Tao ( I nicknamed them ironically Coen brothers, at least they are good directors ) were the same of " serendipity love" I already understand what kind of series would have been but I hadn't take in consideration some things.
First of all in this drama the cast is the same as in the movie as well as the couples, the characters names, the costumes, some locations and five or six scenes. This isn't a joke, in this drama there are some scenes that are also featured in the movie.
Here I marked three scenes that are present in both product :
Scene hospital reception: movie 1:10:21 and drama ep. 4 11:34
Fl drinking a bottle of wine : movie 1:11:08 and drama ep.1 14:24
The two protagonists at the market : movie 46:52 and drama ep 5 15:24
Also the movie and the drama were filmed at the same time and this explained all this things marked up also I think that they wanted to do two productions with a limited budget so they recycled everything they could.
Let’s move on and now is the time to talk about the drama, how it is? Well, the first thought that came in my mind was” is really useless, is more fun watching a white wall.”
The plot is full of clichè and the majority of them were poor executed and written like the evergreen silly triangle, a person with a desease, all the subplots about the Fl job, all the subplots of the other two couples etc.
The characters are forgettable and two dimesional apart the two protagonist (more or less….). The fl actress is quite good but i don’t understand why she is obsess with the idea of the marrige( they never explaine this), the ml actor apart of his really pretty face, he isn’t so good at acting, and i think that some motivations of his character aren’t so much explored.
Throughtout the series the two protanists never argue or discuss in a serious way, in particular when they started living as roomates .They have never a contrast when in real life (or in better drama/movie) is quite common that roomates argue about things (like at the beginning of Youth for example).
Also in really hard to comprend how much time passes and a lots of details happend offscreen, they only say but never show.
But there is a “positive” thing: the kiss scene. Finally we can see a really long and passionate kiss between the two protagonists and there is also the beginning of a s3x scene after the kiss (obviously interrupted at the beginning).
I suggest you to avoid this drama, apart if you are a fan of cheap romance. if you are a fan of Cao Yuchen and you want to see his handsome face go on his weibo page( you can enter without registration) and is plenty of really beautiful photos of him.

an hour and a half of boredom and pokerface

Ooh, i wait this movie for a long time. The principal reason i wanted to watch it because the two protagonist of this movie, in 2018 were one of the couple in the drama Youth ( the multiverse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little). Let's start by saying that apart from the story that is boring, banal, withouth anything original (was to be expected) one of the biggest problem is the acting . The ML actiong is terrible, he is in pokerface for an hour and a half without any emotion because of this he looks like a big porcelain doll ( I'm not criticizing his physical appearance only his bad acting) . He is not just expressionless but also how he moves, how he performs certain actions ( there is a scene in which he wakes up in the morning , is extremely fake and unrealistic ). if you really are a fan of Cyc and you want to see him, please stay away from this movie rather go and look at his photos on his weibo (he's definitely more expressive).

Stay away from this sh*t

When I discover the existance of this sequel i didn't want to believe it. Already Ms cupid in love is really stupid and useless, in your opinion, how are these three episodes? Even worse, hurray!!!While I was watching it I felt embarrassed for the actors as well for the crew.
First of all there are plot holes as big as a house: In episode 24 we stopped with the protagonist (Xiao Ya) after losing her momery during the marriage , she meets Chu ye three years later. In the episode 25 ( ep 1 of the epilogue) we are informed that magically another two years passed or five ( of which we will never know what happened), Xiao Ya has recover the memory ( How?,When? The series never explain), Chu Ye is became a mortal thanks to a request he made to the emperor of heaven (ah because it possible?), Li fu ( but wasn't he a deity? Why doesn't he go back to heaven? But does he also become mortal like Chu ye? We will never know, it's not like that important) and A jing are married (when did this happen? Dunno). But after all , how are the episodes? Terribles, useless, the characters became even stupids. The sound effects are worthy of benny hills show are really annoying. The gags are funny as a kick in the balls . Above all , what the f**k happends to Chu ye's hair? Poor Cao Yuchen, with that giant tuft seems to came out from a 90's anime ( lets pray for him). The two positive thing in this garbage, the joke about viagra and Chu ye erectile impotence and Cao Yuchen's stunned faces.
Why the producers wanted to finance this garbage??? This is a waste of money and time. Rather than waste money producing this abomination they could, I dont' know, rent two cars, a square and do like bumper cars.

Don't waste your time on this garbage

First of all, it was difficult find this drama, you can watch it only on the chinese version of We tv without any kind of subtitle ( don't waste your time to look up on the english version of Wetv, iqiyi,youku, viki or dramacool and similar site). The serie consists of short sketches in which one of the four actors play a stereoreotypical character (like the schoolmate or the rich asshole) addressing to an hypothetical girl that doesn't exist, or rather that girl is the spectator. The situations in the sketches are bland, clichè, boring and also embarrasing. Moreover this is quite a scam because the poster, the page on mydramalist shows four leading actors, for example actually one of them appear only in one episode (Cao Yuchen).
