Adorable

So I am one of those people who happens to LOVE MAME--she has this ability to:

A) create love stories seemingly out of thin air, and

B) Create both beautifully flawed human characters, and sweet fluffy well meaning ones that aren't too saccharin

She did the latter with Wedding Plan, and she's maturing as a screenwriter, which really shows in both this series and LITA(see my LITA review for the reasons why)

Yes, the series was a little bit short, but it was well executed and well acted. I loved the clever idea behind the title and the awesome LITA cameos(seriously, how cute is it to see Sky/P'Pai and Payu/Rain's stories tied up in such a cute little bow, I squealed SO MUCH).

Pak is so freakin cute I could die. His portrayal of Nuea as someone I just want to hug and cuddle is spot on. He's so well meaning and so sensitive and just wants to be a good guy. I absolutely adore that he fights his feelings for Lom BECAUSE HE IS A GENUINELY GOOD GUY, and not just for the plot's sake. His over thinking made me smile so damn much and when he cried, I cried with him.

Lom is interesting in that he is very upfront with his intensions toward Nuea, but he also proves what a loyal friend he can be to Yiwa by sticking by her through this crazy plan. His pursuit of Nuea and the way that he is totally open about it(at least with Nuea and not his family) is refreshing, and made me squeal. I hope Sunny does more series because his performance had me glued to the screen.

Can I have a best friend like Yiwa? Aya is freaking adorable and authentic and knows her character inside and out. The scene after the initial wedding plan meeting where she is so encouraging to Lom and and everyone around her won me over. This girl also has some spine and substance which is fabulous after seeing female BL characters that just seem to be in the series for comedic effect or to Make Things Complicated for the Main Leads, or just to be annoying.

I was smiling every time Yiwa was on the screen and even before I had a clear idea of what exactly was going on I loved her conversation in the car with Lom about if he pursued Nuea she would support him( I thought it was a little weird, yes, but I was willing to roll with it, especially after I knew why she said it.

Both couples in this series are fantastically healthy. Yes, there is a little bit of miscommunication between Nuea and Lom, but it comes from a very real place of Fear of Rejection(Lom) and Wanting To Do The Right Thing(Nuea), but Yiwa and Marine's relationship was a fabulous contrast to that. Neither couple had anything cringey and both the NC scenes where HOT(the girls were a little tamer, but that's ok cause it still made me smile).

I did take off one star for story, mostly because after Nuea ran back home the plot felt a little rushed and I would have loved to see more of Lom and Nuea together with Nuea's family but the little snippet we got was ok--especially Donut and Forth as Ryu and Sun(when do we get their story, because awwwwwwwwwwwww)

Also, that Tongrak reference made me squeal for more than one reason (LOVE SEA--and if the worship ceremony pics are anything to go by, Aya is in that cast as a Support Role and I am TOTALLY THERE FOR THAT BECAUSE I WANT MORE AYA!!!)

(Can you see that this show had me smiling and squealing a lot? Ha, ha.)

Wedding Plan was a fun fluffy sweet little binge, and yes I've already seen it four times and will keep watching it when I need to indulge in a mini squeal fest, the end!
