No Love fr fr
If you love the contract Marriage trope then you'll enjoy this show.I'm also reviewing this show 3 weeks after I finished it to gather my thoughts and write my accurate feelings regarding the show.
But objectively speaking here, I thought it was a solid drama that has a good plot and amazing second leads.
I think the biggest thing for me on why I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked is the main leads but mainly the FL. I had trouble connecting to her character even though I understand her motives. The Male leads character was also quiet boring, and there wasn't anything memorable about him. It's not a knock on the actors but rather poor writing. Another think I disliked is that there was no "magic/spark" between the main leads. And they way they fall for each other was so anti-climactic that you're just sitting there thinking "huh.......I guess they like each other now." Don't get me wrong there were definitely swoon worthy moments between the two of them that are worth rewatching, but It's not enough to carry their on screen romance. The show also throws an unnecessary curve ball in their story that was completely unnecessary and was just used to increase the run time.
On the other hand the second leads were great! I thought their story was solid and they had great chemistry between the two of them and they definitely had that spark. Those two should definitely star in their own drama!
I feel like I'm bashing the drama and giving off an impression that its bad. THATS NOT THE CASE! I actually think it was a solid series and worth watching if you're looking for a light romance drama and are a fan of the contract marriage trope.

Absolute Banger of a series. And I know bangers!
WATCH IT, WATCH IT, WATCH ITRoller coaster of emotions dude. Like this show will have you so invested you wont even know what time it is. You will not care if you have work or school the next day you just want to keep watching but then at the same time ITS SO GOOD that you dont want to keep watching because you dont want it to end.
Like bro after every episode I go to the kitchen and get water and I'll be doing sign language on my way to the kitchen. I don't even know If that even makes sense but I'll be so hype I just be moving my hands.
Do yourself a favor and watch the show. First 2 episodes might have you confused for a bit like me but after that its really nice.

Moving in place
Moving is one of those shows that had all the tools to be a great but failed to meet its full potential because its lack of cohesiveness. It had the Budget, the actors, the music and everything in between. But how does a show that has everything come out to be only a subpar superhero action drama? The show did a great job at establishing its world and introducing its characters in its first act. However just as the show started to flush out what we thought were the main characters, it decides to hit PAUSE, go back in time and show the origin stories of their parents. The whole flash back fiasco lasted 8-11 episodes. It's not that it wasn't interesting, it was hard to follow. You're basically forced to reset and start over mid season.
The main issue with Moving is its cohesiveness, as it wasn't existent. The show said "Here's Plot A, oh shoot we forgot about the parents so here's Plot B-1 and Plot B-2. And oh yeah, we forgot about this guy so here's Plot C....okay now that everything's good lets go back to Plot A." The worse part is that They decided to tell Plot B-1 and B-2 at the same time focusing on two separate couples and their two separate stories. It was hard to stay engaged because you know where those characters end up in modern day. It would have been nice if the way they met each other was interesting and exciting but it was cliche and predictable.
You're basically spending all of act two waiting to get back to the modern day story line. Yeah cool stuff happens but its not enough to make you truly care.
This show was literally MOVING from plot line to plot line and made it hard to follow. YES it had great action scenes, FANTASTIC visual effects, and a soundtrack that will make you root for its characters, but it all means nothing if the story is hard to follow.
I will give the show its credit as the last 2-3 episodes managed to capture some of the excitement had in the beginning and ended things well, all things considered.
It's hard for me to recommend moving. If you wanted a superhero-vibe show just watch Marvel or DC. I can really only recommend moving if you're a fan of the cast as they do a really good job at playing their roles and honestly are the only reason why I managed to finish this 20 episode series.

A budget wedding........ Still GOOD though!
I enjoyed this drama a lot! This was light and fun but had its serious moments. It's cliche filled plot isn't for everyone and it for the most part was very predictable on how it will playout. And although I wasn't completely satisfied on how the other side plots ended I was very glad I watched this drama. All the actors were great in their roles and the OST for this drama is fantastic! The chemistry between the leads were great and I wish they had more scenes where they slowly fall for each other.
The family characters on the side of Do Han and Ji Han I felt were a bit underwhelming in a sense that the drama could have flushed out their characters more instead of being an archetype.
my main gripe with this drama is that the story had the potential to be great and interesting but ended up being typical and overlooked. Yes the Romance was great as it is but IMO its what the main characters go through is what separates good dramas from memorable ones. The main conflict/political elements in this drama I found were interesting but the show just dipped their toes in it but never swam into the idea.
Although the show was only 12 episodes long the pacing was good and at times too fast. A part of me feels that the show was supposed to be 16 episodes long as there was a lot more things that could have been flushed out.
I think the show is better than what the majority of people on MDL reviewed it as. If you watched the trailer and are intrigued by it then give it a shot as its only 12 episodes. Don't expect anything deep here though as it is for the most part very light.
I wanted MORE from this drama and it had all the tools to be more. In the end I'm satisfied with it but don't expect too much.
This review comes off more negative than my intention BUT Definitely watch this if you enjoyed the trailer or are a fan of the actors! :)

A simple romance that's sweet and predictable (light spoilers)
If you're looking for something that has a deep story with twists and turns.....This is not the drama you. But just because it doesn't have a deep story or memorable characters doesn't mean it isn't *GOOD*This K-Drama focuses on 6 leads (Yeah It's a lot) and how they navigate school and their personal feelings towards each other. There are two main couples in the story and the third couple is a slow burn that happens over the course of the 12 episodes. In terms of screen time between the 6 leads I'd say Is about 45% Main couple / 35% Second couple / 5% Third Couple / 10% Others.
the two main tropes the drama focuses on is the Best friends to lovers trope and Love triangle. The plot is very predictable by the time you finish the first episode you know how everything will playout.
The actors did a good job at portraying their archetypes but they don't go beyond that. My personal gripe of the show is that I wish it focused on the Main couple more because that's when the drama was at its peak. The secondary couple and their story was tolerable but I myself didn't like the second FL character and I think when you watch it you'll understand why.
With that being said I think Its a good drama because it knows what it is and It knows it's target audience! It has all the cliche's you're looking for and it does it well.
Dear M is worth watching as its only 12 episodes and the pacing is great.

Running nowhere....
Run on! is a drama that has great leads with a boring story. The show focuses on its 4 leads and follows their day to day lives while dealing with their own external and internal issues. The poster main leads follow Ki Sean Gyeom, an athlete who grew up rich with a broken family and a Oh Mi Joo a translator who has no family and grew up with the challenges associated with it.
The Second leads follow Sea Dan Ah a young CEO looking to move up within her families companies who like Ki Seon Gyeom also has a dysfunctional family, and Lee Young Wha a young college student who paints for fun.
My Main gripe with this drama is that its basic and very predictable. The drama itself dragged on for way to long and struggles with pacing issues with every episode. The Main leads could have had their story wrapped up by Episode 8-10, and the second leads didnt get much development till the second half of the season in which their story could have been wrapped up within 2 episodes.
The shows first 10 episodes were great but episodes 11-16 were just a drag. 11-16 was when they shifted the focus to the second leads and their 'will they, wont they' dynamic. The second leads were good in their performances but their script and story was boring and was dragged out for way to long, Instead of the show focusing on the others interesting subplots.
This show would have benefited from being a 12 Episodes at 45min-50min a piece.

If your best friend looks like Han So-Hee you too would fall in love.
"Best Friends to Lovers" trope portrayed in a way that doesn't make you cringe. It's everything you expect and as predictable as they come. Its a web series that knows what it is, knows what it wants to achieve and doesn't re-invent the genre. It ticks all the right boxes and does it well. Will it leave you speechless? No. Will it leave you wanting more? No. By the first few minutes you know exactly how it will playout and what character archetypes it will have.
It's as predictable as they come yet it managed to be enjoyable and charming series. What really helps this show is that its only 4 episodes long at 45min each episode. Nothing is overly played out, its straight to the point and has almost no sub plots. It truly focuses on its two protagonists and their relationship.
I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick binge or anyone waiting for a series to come out and need something to watch in the meantime.
