A Cinematic Masterpiece

Rarely does a film come along that redefines the boundaries of storytelling and cements its place as an undeniable masterpiece. This film does just that, delivering a cinematic experience that will linger in your mind long after the credits roll. From its breathtaking cinematography to the exceptional performances by the lead actresses, every element of this movie is meticulously crafted, resulting in a work of art that stands head and shoulders above the rest.

The cinematography is nothing short of extraordinary, with each frame meticulously composed to draw you deeper into the narrative. The director's use of light and shadow, coupled with stunning, sweeping shots, immerses the viewer into the film's world, making every scene not just a visual treat but also an emotional journey. The visuals perfectly complement the film's tone, enhancing the tension and the beauty of the story.

The acting in this film is truly remarkable, with the lead actresses delivering performances that are as powerful as they are nuanced. The chemistry between them is palpable, creating an authentic connection that drives the narrative forward with intensity and passion. Their portrayals are so believable that you feel every emotion, every conflict, and every moment of tenderness between them. It's this chemistry that forms the heart of the film, making the characters' journeys both relatable and deeply moving.

What sets this film apart, however, is its storytelling. The narrative structure is sublime, allowing us to see the story unfold from both protagonists' perspectives. This dual point of view adds layers of depth to the film, making the final plot twist not just surprising but utterly satisfying. The twist is a testament to the film's brilliant writing, weaving together all the narrative threads into a conclusion that feels both inevitable and shocking.

In summary, this film is a masterclass in filmmaking. It excels in every aspect—from its stunning cinematography and exceptional performances to its brilliant storytelling and unforgettable plot twist. It's a film that demands to be seen, appreciated, and remembered as one of the greats.

A Promising Start That Loses Its Way

The show kicks off with a strong and captivating start. The first episodes draw you in with their intensity and well-paced storytelling. However, as the series progresses, it begins to lose its focus, struggling under the weight of too many characters. This overcrowding leads to one of the most glaring issues: a lack of screen time for one of the supposed leads, Sun.

Sun's character, who should have been central to the story, ends up feeling like a side character. The audience is never truly given the opportunity to connect with her or explore her thoughts. Instead, she feels distant, like a passing object we can never quite reach. This is a significant missed opportunity, as her character had the potential to add depth and emotional resonance to the story.

The final episodes further exacerbate these issues. It becomes evident that the writers were unsure of how to conclude the story. The plot begins to meander, ultimately betraying the very nature of the characters we had come to know. Their actions and decisions in these final moments feel out of place, leaving the audience disconnected and unsatisfied.

In summary, while the show had a promising start with strong initial episodes, it ultimately falters under the weight of its own ambition. The lack of focus on key characters, particularly Sun, and a disappointing conclusion, prevent it from reaching its full potential.

Quite dissapointing

The show starts off on a promising note, albeit with some familiar BL tropes that feel a bit overused. The main issue, however, lies with Kawi's character. As the lead, he is supposed to evoke our empathy, but the storytelling and acting fall short in this regard. While it's easy to understand Kawi's perspective, his supposed attraction and love for Piseang come across as forced. It feels more like Kawi is settling for Piseang after repeatedly failing to win over Pear, rather than genuinely falling in love with him.

This weakens the emotional core of the story, making Kawi's love for Piseang seem almost invisible. The show would have been much more innovative and inspiring if it had focused on Piseang and Max as the central, openly gay leads, instead of centering on an immature Kawi who only seems to grow up in the final episode.

Gawin delivers a strong performance, bringing depth to his role, but Krist's tendency to overact prevents us from fully connecting with Kawi. Overall, the show had potential but falters due to its uneven characterization and missed opportunities.
