Story-The story is outright bombastic throwing a battle every episode, this manages to move the plot along ok most episodes are more like vignette and are only connected in the end. The story itself is very character driven when you see a cast member you know their gonna do something and that interaction will be with another cast member.

Acting-The thing that makes this show great it the cast everyone is very colorful and crazy the cast really makes this story work and during tense moments i found i had been holding my breath i did care for the cast members. For some people the acting may be over the top some of the time but i think it adds to the charm.

Music-The music wasn't bad but it wasn't really noticeable i was never really like that music totally represents the show.

Rewatch value- unfortunately because this show relies on competitions their is little reason to really re-watch, the only reason i can think of is to watch the comedic moments.

Overall-If you have some time to burn this is a fine Drama to watch because 1 the episodes are shorter than many other dramas, the cast really sells how crazy the show is and they give the show alot of energy that a show about cooking would need. While not the best show out there this is a show you should watch if you have the time because the cast is likable and displays a realistic friendship.

This movie starts a but depressing but soon becomes quite funny as we watch the antics of a recluse and a man stranded on an island. I love the relationship they create even though they have no idea who the other is. I also like this because it follows strange people and not just the people who are going to a rich school or are about the achieve something , no these people are depressed and really don't have much to live for but we watch them and find out about them and how connections to other people are important and can help us even in the toughest situations and how even people we may brush off as being useless or un important may just view the world differently and enjoy their own comfort.

After reading the reviews I thought this looks fun not the best, it kinda fell into that cheesy smoltz that I like.
The Story:I can see how some people are comparing this to Coffee Prince it has a similar feel If i had to sum this up it's like Ouran with a higher budget, You'r beautiful in that we have the, Tsundra,Dormat nice guy, and adorable almost loli but can drink blond guy. I liked how they got the girl into the situation, she's obsessed with a boy but not because of the reasons one would think. The story kinda resolves around one of those god organizations which means that you have the overall plot while you have a secondary vignettes each day where they help someone out. The story has many mystical elements that i felt that some of the writers shoehorned in.
Pros:Good reason for the female lead to try to get close to them
They try to flesh out all the characters even if their background can be a bit silly
Cons:The fantasy elements can feel a bit shoehorned in
The story is romantic comedy or at least tries to be but sometimes you get such a tonal shift from comedy to serious topics that feels a bit strange.
The show for some reason felt very flat It might have been the acting or the script but i'l talk about that later.
Acting:The acting was ok I knew about what the characters felt and their motivation but sometimes it felt a bit forced.
Alex:Jun Ji Hoo felt very bland to me, he was the stock i'm a nice perfect pretty boy, he tried very hard but their's isn't much to do with the generic nice guy you smile you laugh that's about it.
Kay:played by Song Jae Rim I felt this character was written as the generic Tsundra he's tough and cold but oh he has a heart of gold we just ned to find it. I felt his acting was really good for this character, This character can easily be played as too much as a jerk or to forced but I think he found a nice middle ground i felt for him when he was going through emotional turmoil and wanted him to succeed.
Jin-This character is the adorable guy, blond hair and energetic all the way, for some reason I felt like he only was acting when the Camera was on him, in the background he's just meh to me. He's got the look but I think their should have been better direction or he should have put in more effort.
Bunny-She's the determined girl who just so happens to fall in love. She quirky sometimes but overall nice I didn't care much about this character she wasn't bad and she wasn't great i just didn't really care. Although if she's dressing as a guy and doesn't anyone to think she's a girl or gay why is she still wearing lipgloss. Also I can totally see where people are coming from when they say she annoys them she's always flip flopping and the last three episodes are her just being indecisive and I know that's how real life can be and what we expect but could you drag it out any longer.
Pros:The Tsundra character is done quite well in this one
Cons:The rest of the class was passable at best and extremely bland and boring at worst.
Music:Forgettable
Rewatch value:Low I mean you could but it doesn't reach that so bad it's good maybe so bad it's slightly intriguing, but in the End it's just bland, hot boys can only carry a story so far.
Overall:I can understand why people don't like it it's boring and feels like they have a checklist of what they need to put in, we need a near death scene for drama, we need a kissing scene where someone misunderstands someone else, rinse and repeat. I personally didn't mind because I like strange supernatural elements but their's alot of better stuff to watch,

Story
I thought the story was told very well It sorta felt a bit like vignettes strung together with the goal of catching Jinno, I.E each episode the boys find something out find it might be related to the case at hand and go after it. It's not till really the 7'th episode where all of them tie together, this isn't a bad thing in any way the episodes before the plot really gets rolling and isn't just taking down Mafia bosses, catching drug deals and overall police work lets us know the cast and how they act and we see them get closer and we understand their dilemmas.
Acting
I really liked this series I'm really glad i was sorta stalking Mizushima Hiro but that's besides the point. I really enjoyed this drama's acting. Mizushima Hiro was great and It was really nice to see him in such a fun and energetic role. I was very happy with Oguri Shun's acting because I had only scene him in Hana Kimi and I thought his acting was ok but In this one he really portrays his part very well. I felt that Yoshitaka Yuriko did a fine job portraying her part I don't think their was ever a part where I didn't buy the acting. I thought the supporting cast did really and I loved how much personality they gave to the cast in the police station instead of having them just be one off characters.
Music
The music I found I really liked like all shows you have your romantic track your serious track and so on. The music I felt fit the series quite well and gives it the energetic feel it needs.
Rewatch value
This movie has one or two big twists but that doesn't spoil the rewatch value because It is so funny You want to go back and see if you can go back and listen to the jokes or just because It's a great story also I personally love when English is being spoken and sometimes you can tell that the person is trying to pretend to be American but is very british, I don't know i have a strange sense of humor.
Overall
The Series is very good I enjoyed it I laughed with it and cried with it. This show kinda made me think os something like Elementary and other cop shows but it's also smart and we understand out protagonists. The two main characters bounce off of each other wonderfully and has almost a buddy cop comedy feel to it while maintaining its's seriousness.

So i've watched all the versions of the hana kimi series, both japanese one's too and i have to say this was probably my least favor. This is because i watched the first hana kimi first and than the remake than the Taiwanese version., because of this i've viewed this series to a bit more of a comedy. The problem i had with this version it doesn't have many funny moments and it's really quite predictable and the main character seems like she's a bit stupid and a bit of a stalker. I also found that the story focused mostly on the three main characters a lot but didn't do much to flesh out the supporting cast. The story reminded me much more of something like you are beautiful than hani kimi. Due to the fact that the supporting cast isn't fleshed out as much i couldn't get as invested in the ending as i had for the japanese versions. All in all a decant show not too many laughs they are in their sometimes but most of the time it's a bit cliched and follows some of the drama clichés but if you wan't to say you've watched all the incarnations of hana kimi.

The good:
The acting
main character development

The bad:
distance from supporting roles
not as funny as the other series
prdictable

This movie was a bit strange for me it was like taking two episodes of the drama and squeezing them together. It wasn't bad per say but it's severally lacking in comparison to the drama. One reason might be is the drama had time it gave us 12 episodes to flesh out the cast and become care about them in this medium it can only give us a limited amount of time, I feel that the story of GTO,Gokusen and other stories where the plot is driven by the cast works better as a series because you need the time to care about the cast. The problem with this is also if you've watched any "troubled" school series you know you have one class that has problems and each student contributes to those problems in the the Drama we see Onizuka solving about 10-11 of the class members while the others hand onto the heads of the class the problem with this one is we only see him solve 2 maybe 3 students problems if you really stretch it and because of that you wonder if the class really needed the help, the other members of the class are handled in a speech which makes it feel less personal.

Acting-Sorimachi Takashi brings his all once more but he's really not given anything different so their's not really much to work with and you can't see the variety in the ways he can bond with the student so much of the heart we felt in the drama we have to kinda fill in the blanks.
Story-the story as i stated is like two episodes and I'm not spoiling the end but it feels a bit unoriginal when you see the drama and I felt like they added tension to compensate for the lack of time.

cinematography-the movie didn't seam to have that great production values it might have been the copy i got my hand on but the colors in the movie were very muted, I thought the drama did quite a good job using lighting and color to display the atmosphere but this one seams to be a mess of browns and grays. The shooting is a bit strange It kinda reminded me of Chess games, in the way that it would be in the middle of a sceen and cut to something that is almost irrelevant until it pans out and it really doesn't really work well especially for GTO.

Overall thoughts-It's not horrible it's ok but i've scene their's a lot better stuff out their. If your a fan of the anime or manga and you want to test the waters watch the Drama this probably isn't a good introduction to the live action versions for you. If you've watched the drama you could watch this but you'll find the change in setting, characters and overall mood might be a bit off putting, but it's alright not so bad i wanted to turn the tv off but their's a lot else i could be watching. This movie tried to be for newcomers i because they leave almost no reference in any dialog to the original cast but newcomers will be confused by the pacing and about Onizuka while people who've watched the drama as best might find it an interesting experience but at worst a waste of time that ruins a good end of a Drama.

(you can ignore me from here on out)

What they could have changed-I felt this would have worked better if they made it like a gokusen special where they would use the cast from the drama and write a narrative around it. I would have loved to see a new season of GTO budget constraints and so on but GTO's story and format don't work as a movie, the only way it would work was if you had one person who needed help but since this is a school setting their's a lot of people who you really don't care about now.

I really liked this drama a lot. I cried at the end. I thought it was well acted and I thought it had a mix of funny but seriousness to it. The Cast did a great job because most of the drama to me is meant to be serous the cast manages to make the characters very likable i found myself rooting for them all the time. The story while far fetched flowed nicely and the main character reminded me of a the troupe of the Messiah but he didn't atomically become one. The music was nice i enjoyed listening to it. Over all a great show i will re-watch this show sometime in the feature.

Out of the three seasons i think this is my favorite this might be because I find shin sawada hot....you know nothing. but seriously I really enjoyed this drama i found it really funny but it did get dramatic. I also like the life lessons I know the idea of a unorthodox teacher comming to help troubled students isn't new but i think they do it really well here. The story is more like each episode is devoted to each character but the cast member is not dropped in the end. I really enjoyed the music it's probably because i like J-pop but i enjoyed it. I think i could definitely r-watch it. I also love the little fantasies that yankumi has.

God I loved this I swear i could re-watch it 100 times and not get board. I cried at the ending. The story is very nicely done and I don't feel like i have to question anything, from character motivation to what was going on, the student are vary likable and you sympathize with them and you want them to win. The acting is wonderful Sorimachi does a wonderful job as Onijuka being silly and very likable while also maintaining the same seriousness that Onizuka has when he is protecting something he cares for, the friendship in this drama seams very real. The music didn't stand out as much to me but with that i'm nitpicking and right now i am re-watching it, it also ties things up perfectly in the end.

I enjoyed this movie i think the one thing that i recommend is that you kinda shut your brain off and enjoy the crazy situations the cast gets themselves into. I did find the female lead's voice to be a bit grading and i almost smacked my screen after watching her act like an idiot but i almost thought it was either charming or just funny. The acting is good though i don't even remember the sound tract. So if your gonna watch this i would highly recommend watching it with a friend or two it's kind like with them you can point at the strange ness and laugh while you all watch it plus your laughing could drown out the female leeds voice which i ave to admit can get a bit grading.

Like many if you i only watched this because Hiro Mizushima was in it and I really disliked it. I decided i'd watch it since the episodes are so short and I just got annoyed.
Story-If you can call it a story I feel like it's a really poorly written oneshot and it's annoying. I felt like what you can call a story is just someones fantasy with Hiro Mizushima from their head coming out.
Acting/Cast
I thought the performances were lackluster at best and bash my head into a wall bad at worse. This is partially because of the "characters" they were given it's more like nice girl and nice boy their's not much they can work with. I kinda almost felt like some rich women got together and just filmed their own tame fantasies with Mizushima Hiro. But I know some of these women can act because they have been in good shows before too.
Music
Other than being bland, boring and completely indistinct from all other sorta romance Drama music their's not much to say it's annoying and has no good transitions it's just like he said something nice que the music
rewatch value
It's alright if you've got 45 minutes to waste or some POW's than it's great but seriously their's a lot of better stuff you could be watching.
Overall
Need I say more the stories are like really bad fanfiction, the "characters" are no more than your mary sue characters and I don't know if it was just me but the cinematography just annoyed me some some reason.

Story-8/10
I thought the story was good it follows our main character and Xaio Bei and her job as a hair stylist, she gets recruited into working for a famous company called Neo image. Although the opening makes it look like a reverse harem it's not so if your'r looking for something like Ouran you won't find anything like that. The story is good and has some twists the problem i found was one the ending seamed a bit rushed and at the very beginning you can tell who will end up with who their's really no surprise at the end.
Acting 8/10
I thought the acting was very good i found my self feeling for almost all the characters who i was suposto feel for the only reason i hesitate to give it a higher schore is because sometimes it seams stilted but most of the time it is quite good.
Music 7/10
The music like most dramas consists of the main title end title and songs for when things are happy, sad ect. The reason i'm giving it a 7 out of 10 is because while the opening and ending are pretty good i found it a bit annoying when they were playing the really tense music when their was a tense moment i mean i get it but sometimes i feel like we as the audience can tell when it is a tense moment and when it is not, I also find it a bit annoying when i feel like the same loop of We wish you is repeating over and over in the background.
Rewatch Value-This one has an ok Rewatch value I found myself rewatching it because I liked to watch the actors but because of the twists and things once you've scene it you kinda know what's going to happen. I feel like you could watch this maybe twice if you had the time.
Overall
This Drama is pretty good the comedy when it's good it's pretty good I did find myself sometimes getting annoyed at Xaio Bei but that's probably because she reminds me of Tohru honda from fruits basket and her selflessness can make you think twice about suspending your flag of disbelief but I think it's nice to have an all-around nice character these days.

Watching 1998 version I believe i gave it very heigh marks. I'm not saying this is bad far from it i'm just saying this one in comparison isn't as good but it still is a great drama. I first comparing this to the 1998 original. For the ending (don't worry no spoilers) I thought this one was on par with the original although they took slightly different routs but both ended in almost the same ending, although i thought that this one added an unneeded element in the end which you know they'r gonna resolve right away. The cast in this one pulls it off quite well although in the later episodes i do find myself not as interested , although this might be because they're trying to fit a bit more story into 11 episodes, I felt that the last few episodes before the last episode were kinda almost boring and that spoils some of the rematch value. All in all a good show if you have the time you should watch it but if you haven't scene the original go watch that and the other golden school Drama's first.
