Favorite Genres

I have two main preferences when it comes to genres - Thrillers/Noir and Romance. I do prefer both to be present in a drama, however, if I had to choose one over the other, my main preference is focused on investigative and thriller dramas. I also enjoy arthouse dramas, meaning productions that are unusual, at times shocking and not for the general audience.

Thrillers/Noir:
A good thriller does not need to be fast paced or very gruesome. What I enjoy are well developed and interesting cases, with good character development. I like to see twisted characters, that are grey and flawed.

Romance:
I enjoy romance dramas where you can actually feel the romance. I do enjoy some comedy but overall not too much. You need to feel the chemistry between the leads.

Arthouse:
This one is not for everyone. It is shocking, disturbing and makes you think about too many things. And this is exactly what draws me to them. They are unusual and very artistic and make you reflect and question.

Favorite Movies:

Movies represent to some degree my drama preferences. I like well developed characters and a story that grips you to such a degree that you forget time and space. The ones I consider the best, are movies that stick with me for a long time.

Non-Asian Dramas:

While I do love Asian productions, I really enjoy some good Non-Asian dramas as well.

I prefer European dramas a little more, especially Nordic ones. But I absolutely adore any well developed series, with a gripping storyline and great character development.
