IF YOU’RE A HARDCORE BL FAN, YOU MIGHT NOT ENJOY THIS SHOW.
Now I know there are those types of people who’s hard to get, yeah? But then there’s Judah! OMG the audacity of that guy!! Hahaha Rocky, you poor thang!! You’ll get what I mean when you watch the last 3 episodes.I won’t say much like I usually do in reviews because I wasn’t so invested in my reactions towards this series. The leads didn’t really have the chemistry. There were some great lines on the script but it was jeopardized by how it was said. It just didn’t feel real to me. I felt like watching a project of some 4th year students who is desperate to graduate so they just had to make do with what they had to get this show over with.
Anyway, I’m glad there were just 8 episodes and not a minute more. If this show was the first bl show I’ve ever watched and had nothing to compare it to, I would’ve rated this higher.

11/10
I'll try to keep this short as much as I can. This is def one of the best Dramas of all time, and I'm not just talking about BL or Asian. I MEANT ALL DRAMAS I'VE EVER WATCHED.
What makes this show a 11/10 for me:
- FIRST AND FOREMOST, THE SEXUAL TENSION OF TEH AND OH. MYGAAAADD I CANT WITH THESE TWOOOO
- Killer chemistry between the main leads as Best Friends, rivals, and lovers. They're obviously soulmates!!
- How they portrayed their role. All those crying scenes. They didnt give a damn how ugly they looked or if their salivas are dripping or they have a runny nose everytime they cry. Such talented actors. They're still young but you'd be amazed by how they project themselves on screen. KUDOS GUYS!
- Cinematography and Videography. Camera movement is perfection may it be in a running or steady scene.
- All those scenes where the camera didn't change angles just goes to show how talented the actors are having embraced their characters' persona and memorized their lines perfectly and characters by heart.
- OST. I'M FREAKING INLOVE WITH ALL VERSIONS OF IT both in Thai and Chinese. And the mainleads sang each their versions tooo. Super talented.
- Storyline. The conflict and goal may seem simple, but the journey is really unpredictable and it touches your heart and you can relate to some of the characters in so many ways.
- Script. The timing of what was said, how it was said, when it was said, and why it was said, FREAKING BRILLIANT!!
- There were a lot of scenes where no words were spoken and the camera is just focused on the expressions of their faces yet you would be missing a lot if you dont get to see those. The more they dont say anything, the more you get what they're feeling
- Beautiful places and streets in Thailand.
- Incorporation of the Chinese language.
- Very sensible and realistic. Sensible in a sense where they didn't went with the stereotypical bl stories by destroying the image of each other main lead's liked person at first. Their roles are significant to the mainlead's charactee development.
- Hoon. Teh's brother. I'd want to have a brother who listens and gives advices like him.
- Bas. He's soooooo cuuuuteeee
- Teh and Oh's cute teases of each other.
- The title 'I Told Sunset About You' is so powerful, whoever chose it, I'd consider a genius.
- The series is not that long to watch too.
Oops sorry I know I said to keep it short. I got carried away while writing the review. What can I sayn I just love everything about ITSAY.
Definitely highly recommended!!!!

Theory of Love: Special Episode "Stand By Me"

THANK YOU FOR THIS SPECIAL EPISODE
I literally just watched ToL a few months ago and watching this special episode made me feel nostalgic. No doubt about the killer chemistry OffGun has! They’re so great together on and off cam. They’re like two pieces of jigsaw puzzle that fits perfectly together. I don’t even care if the storyline for the special ep is too shallow for some, hell, it’s called Special Episode for a reason.
Khai and Third def pulled me out from reality for a second there and let me into their had a taste of how crazy and cute their relationship is. I felt every their emotions, their happiness, and love each other. Third deserves all of it. And Khai is so lucky to have Third in his life.
OST is a major plus in ToL. I don’t even understand the lyrics because I’m not Thai, but the feels of the song is just sooooo perfect! They even played it in a slow version instrumental only and gahd daaaamn that felt good!
If you’re looking for a deep storyline, then this is not for you. It’s just something that warms your heart and make you feel all the fluffs!
I’m actually fine whether they’d have a second season or not.

THIS SERIES WARMS THE HEART ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HEAR VLAD TALK
First of all, how sexy does Vlad talk??!! And his banats and hugots din. Is he experiencing all these in real life? I mean, it felt soooo genuine. It’s like I was right there with him. Don’t even get me started with the way he stares!!!I see a bit of an OffGun’s Theory of Love kind of vibe from this show because of how they’re into Film/Movies and the familiarity of it all is what hooked me. All the supporting role is significant to the series too, Anna, Judit, tito Santi and the parents. Their deep conversations are for keeps!!
OST: I’m obsessed with Unti-unti by Up Dharma Down!! This is the song played at the last part of each first few episodes.
YES! I literally watch those little scenes right before the end even if it’s just them watching a movie, not saying a thing, just taking turns having a glimpse at each other and as the series progresses, they get nearer and nearer hahah oh so cuuute!!
SEASON 2 PLEASE!!

If you're watching this for BL's sake, then don't!!
Honestly, they're a bunch of great actors and the production was really cool. The sex scenes were explicit and the gore fight scenes made it all realisitic. The ending was not what I expected though. I mean, I really didn't get the point of the story. SUPER ANTICLIMACTIC!If you're rooting for bl scenes, dont waste your time! There are bl scenes, but it's just like 8 percent of the whole movie. I can say the storyline could've been written better.
Also, I don't get why the King is sort of the Antagonist of this show. To me, he was just being himself but got hurt by the people he trusts and that's what led him to his demise.
Overall, it's a good korean movie but not so much that I'd want to rewatch it.

I CANT STOP STARING INTO CHEN'S EYES
This mini series is so freaking cuutee as hell I think my heart is gonna burst. There is no conflict (aside from the corona virus) and somehow it ended up an above average pinoy BL of 2020.Key's character is not the pabebe type of Bottom and i love him for that. Sometimes Chen is too conyo but I still love hearing him talk and looking at his face hahaha
I'd rewatch this series. The soundtracks fit the vibe tooo.
Overall it was one of the cutest and fluffiest and most kilig Pinoy BL mini web series of 2020 I've ever watched. Kaya 10/10.

Doesnt need for 14 eps for us to get the story
All I can say is there better be a separate show for the Pangs.Mas nakuha nila puso ko kaysa sa main leads. Sobrang cuute nilang dalawa. Great actors din. Bagay na bagay silang magpapa cute sa isat isa. Yung feeling na hindi ka na cringe? Sila yun!!! Ewan ko nga baka sila in real life.
The song of Nin and Makisig is tooo cute as well. Deeyymm. But for amateur actors, they did quite well.
Anyway, looking forward for more Pangs moment!!!!
PS* It would've been better if Ri also got his happy ending.

I JUST LOVE ALL OF THEM SO MUCH
If I could rate this as an 11/10, I would.Don’t be deceived by how gay the poster looks, please. You really need to give it a shot and surely you’re not going to regret watching this.
The character development of each of them is amazing. I know this doesn’t really have that unique concept in terms of storyline but hell they’re all such great actors, that you could get past the negativities of this show (not that there are any, really)
Every episode, every scene, every conflict and every victory was something to look forward to. I literally cried almost every episode, not because it’s a sad story but because it gives me all the feels especially how they face every struggle together and just being there for each other. What a strong bond they have! Their passion, determination, and reslience is absolutely amazing!
Hands down to all of the actors. So glad I found this show.
ARIGATO!!

CANT WAIT FOR THEIR OWN STORY
I sincerely believe their story will be much more interesting than Gav and Cai’s.They’re both experiencing the shitty side of things and they’re both trying to get past the mess they’re in. I love how shows like Gameboys give importance to the supporting roles. It’s not pushed and everything about this seemed natural.
I’m glad they met each other really!! AND I AM SO STOKED TO SEE THEIR OWN SERIES!!
I’ve just heard of the Idea First company and so far, by watching Gameboys, and now this, I’m pretty impressed by how they roll. Still yet to watch Pearl Next Door. NICELY DONE, TEAM!!

WITHOUT PEARL, THIS SERIES IS DEAD
This is by far one of the best bls for me not just Pinoy bl but all bls and that’s a lot to say given I’ve watched almost 70 different asian bls.I’m impressed by every person in making this production possible. They’re one hell of a team. From the director, to the actors, to the writers, videographers, they gave their all and its result is just something one bl fan can’t fathom in just 13 episodes.
AND NOW, THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS SHOW: I CAN’T FREAKING STRESS THIS ENOUGH (Hence the capslock)!!! PEARL IS SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A FRIEND, GIRLFRIEND, EX LOVER, BEST FRIEND, VLOGGER. I MEAN HER SINCERITY AND CARE TOWARDS OTHER PEOPLE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. THE THINGS SHE DOES FOR THE PEOPLE SHE LOVES IS EXACTLY WHAT CAIRO AND GAVREEL NEEDS AFTER ALL THE SHIT THEY’VE BEEN THROUGH. I HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT GAV AND CAI WOULDNT BE COMPLETE WITHOUT PEARL. THAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP IS RARE. THEY’RE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HER IN THEIR LIVES.
And even though there were some parts there where I felt too much cheesiness between the main leads because of how they call each other ‘Baby’, I still rated this as 10/10 because it’d be a sin not to. Overall, the show is just too beautiful not to give it a 10. You can get a lot from this show not just the bl parts. Oh and by the way, they cry so good, it makes me even cry too.
Can’t wait for the second season.
PS* Hoping it wouldn’t be like What The Duck where I was so hyped by s1 but when s2 came, GAHD DAMN!! Just watch it for yourself if you want to waste time lol

MORE SCREENTIME FOR PUTH AND KAENG PLEASE
The first couple was the worst. WORST WORST WORST. It made me cringe the whole time. Their expressions are just so bad, I think they didn’t like each other off screen.Yes, Puth and Kaeng’s episode is the best (ep. 9 and 10, plus special episode 12.5), but I’m sure I couldn’t appreciate it this much if the other guys weren’t some shitty actors with shitty storylines and shitty chemistries.
Srsly tho, I CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF PUTH AND KAENG!! UGGGHHHHHH. These kinds of chemistries are super rare, and it makes me so happy to actually witness them. Love you Papi and Daddy ?❤️

3% BL. 97% DRAMA
This is as honest as I can get, fair warning to all those planning to watch this for BL purposes: PLEASE DON'T! I gave this series a shot at first and gave it the benefit of the doubt, but it didn't do me justice. It was all good at the beginning, but the ending (last episode) made this series one of the worst endings in history.I admire Nut's crying skills, though. Love it! Also, their soundtracks are great.
As per my headline, 3% BL was shown, but don't expect too much of that 3% hahaha. I wouldn't recommend this series to BL fans really. You'd be disappointed.

13 45-minute episodes I can’t take back!
Cinematography and picture were so great, I even got tempted to watch this even though the ratings are not that high. I gave it a shot and it blew right at my face.Don’t get me wrong, some of the stories were tolerable, but since the actors were still amateurs during this time, the message of the stories weren’t really expressed well. The roles weren’t portrayed well also.
It felt like Thirteen Terrors was the debut for most of these young actors and it affected the whole calibre of this series (in a bad way). Anthologies are usually my thang, but this is just too shallow for me. It didn’t poke the horror freak in me. I wasn’t that interested to watch because most of the scenes are predictable. It’s just scary when you turn on your sound to the highest volume. Typical horror shit. Other than that, it was mehhh!
If you’re the kind of person who is into horror, then please don’t watch this. But if you’re both into comedies and horrors, then probably, you can endure this. As the horror lover in you would laugh at some parts of the series. I know I did. Hahaha
Sorry, not sorry.

First time watching a Thai anthology. It wasn’t so bad
In watching Anthologies, the greatest factor I consider for me to like the series or not is the STORYLINE.From this series, I only got to love the first 5 episodes. They turned out so great even though it was only short. The point of the story was expressed well. These actors too are a natural at this.
Kudos to the screenwriters for thinking and delivering these message to the people today. It actually brought awareness especially to the millennials who is stuck in quarantine.
Rewatch value is nada. As much as I want to, I still have a lot of Thai series to see that I know are much better than this.

WHY ISN’T THIS CONSIDERED A COMEDY?
Srsly, just don’t guys!! I get that it’s a low budget film, but this is just downright being lazy. I feel like all their scenes are one takes.I’ve only managed to finish watching till the end because I enjoyed pinpointing all their mistakes and laugh like crazy. So unprofessional. From the bad timing of their subs, to the sound of the footsteps, to how the support roles say their lines monotonously and how they tried so hard to stick to some bl tropes ugggh!
Bed scene was the hardest shit to watch. I can’t believe they even tried to make one when they’re really not that into it. At least pretend to like it, my gaaad! You’re actors for bl’s sake!!!
Don’t want to rewatch ever again.
