i forced myself to finish it for the sake of finishing another bl. this show had barely any scenes with MCs and there romance was odd and the only thing that made sense was PinJun not joking. it has no rewatch value unless you are bored or just want to watch something and be like "ok then...what an idiot" the entire time. this show left nothing to be wondered, i hate loose ends and this show doesn't give you that. The ending is beautiful and is perfect for the characters, the chemistry between the characters was beautiful. i was crying and laughing and smiling throughout the show, if a show can make you feel that all at once, isn't it one worth watching? The ost perfectly depicted how i felt at the moment and i have so many words of appreciation for this show..i wish it never ended but it did so that sucks. The side coupe in this show doesn't overpower the main couple as it may happen in many bls but this one is just beautiful. I want more action bl, there really aren't enough. There needs to be more bl genres other than the regular romance. i must really thank the writes and the team who made it possible for this amazing show to be made. The re-watch value is high and i'd know, i'd have finished the show earlier if i hadn't been repeating half of the episode every time. so many of the scenes were utterly amazing, this show really had me. i can't stand cliches and this was far from it, it felt like the creators personally made this show for me.

I just finished this drama. The acting isn't great, some characters were better but at least the mc's were good. There wasn't any kissing or anything but you know there is chemistry and they know it too. Music is on point and is a bl but because its China, my fellow bl watchers will know what that means, hence, there isn't any physical stuff but the emotion is there.
The plot is okay, if you watch 'the untamed', this is similar to that but is lacking in some areas where 'the untamed' excels. I don't hate it and i don't love it, its more over eh. I liked it i guess but i wish there was more interaction between tao mo and gu she so yeah. Its not long so its definitely worth a watch if you need a bl to watch cause we all know that the bl world is lacking in the action genre. We seriously need ore of the HIStory 3: Trapped type shows or even like 'long time no see', the only Korean bl that actually is good.

The characters wipe each others tears and their servants are crying as they watch. Gu She and Tao Mo come down together in red. Us bl watchers (especially in Chinese bl) must rely on these hints so that we can know what they are trying to tell us without actually saying it.

You may look at the episode count and be like, 'yeah no, too long'. Think AGAIN. I thought the same but then the plot description made me watch it, and then i stayed because it was really good. I tend to run away from cliche dramas which is why i dont really watch kdrama. But this show, it is not cliche. The bromance is the only thing you need. I came because of the bl, but then the show was so damn interesting. The chemistry was on point, the acting.
When i watch a drama, i like the music to play long enough and at the right times. This show does just that. If you also came for the bl like i did, don't leave because its bromance. You will love this show, especially if you are looking for a action bl, there aren't many. Only HIStory Trapped and Long time no see.

It takes a good story and great acting to keep me watching, i can't even watch 16 episodes. Let alone 50. This show will keep you watching. Besides, when you are done, You will never forget the characters, i'm now reading the book because of it. Its translated to English by exiled rebel scanlations.

Besides 'rise of the phoenixes' this is the only show other show i watched considering the episode count. Its really worth your time.

I had watched 2 moons (the og version) before this one. I didn't really want to watch 2m2 because the cast was different and i was afraid it would be boring or just not good enough. But i was wrong. Even though this is a remake, it is its own story. They included many of the key events from 2m into 2m2 but they made it better. If you wanted to see forthbeam this is for you.
The chemistry for all the couples were great but i had found myself more invested into forthbeams relationship when they started getting scenes together.
I didn't initially like the cast before watching this, its why i was hesitant but they are amazing. Their acting and chemistry is on point. I really liked the story line and the music.
It wasn't boring at all. If you are worried about it being the exact same thing as 2m, it isn't. Up till ep 5-ish its like a compressed version of the entire 2m but after that, it is its own thing.

i watched the first episode and stopped, i already sensed the heartbreak, I skipped to ep 6 and let me tell you that the reason behind it all got me a 'wtf' feeling. you can tell from the synopsis that they aren't getting back together anytime soon. Watch it if you liked zhang nan in kinematics theory which is part one of this. this show is more like finding yourself (the reason them youtuber couples are breaking up where they need to find themselves and be less dependent) in this show zhe is sooo dependent on nan its an issue and that was in ep1. it wasn't the worst thing i watched but not the best, i'd have preferred a happy ending but the characters did break up on a good note but i cried, they showed heir flashbacks and i cried even though i barely watched it.

Everything about the show was great but there was not many scenes of the main characters we all came for (waii and apo), it was so full of everyone else and the scenes between the MCs were limited. The ending was stupid, the whole show, 1 freaking kiss scene between waii and apo! Its not just that, some of the ending ''plot twists'' (literal air quotes( were not necessary. The show was nice but the ending wasn't good enough, the ending is happy but its annoying, if you watch it you'll know. the show is good but not amazing, cast is 10/10 but still some things that need to be said didn't happen so yeah, still annoyed thats why i'm writing this review, its the only was i can vent my frustration. i feel like the ending was just so dead. i still recommend you watch it!
