Love story finally coming through

Love is flourishing how beautiful !! It was good to see him wear nobleman clothes, I really can't wait so we can fast forward to the moment he gets his memories back. The fight scene was quite cool, ngl !! I'm glad writer's took their time to develop both their relationship and start getting into the main plot.

Good enough!

This drama's pace is good enough but for some reason I can't remember how an episode ends/starts ? Anyway, I'm very much liking it, feels like it's the first time I'm watching it

Get your memory back please!

I watched this already, I know when he gets his memory back, but still it's frustrating so see him trying to remember who he is and act like someone he never was and will never be. There's some, peculiar chemistry? between the main leads and I really like it! Also extra points for taking your time with the love triangle !!

Working out great!

It's very peculiar the love triangle isn't still part of the story, but I'm very glad for that! It's quite unique! I love how that even though he lost his memory, he didn't lose his temper and personality. Going well!

Good pace!

We're keeping up great with the story we were previously presented plus adding extra details and that's very clever!

Great introduction!

[I'm rewatching this drama again so even if I already know the full story, I'll pretend it's the first time I'm reviewing it]A very amazing first episode I must say, the acting, the development of the story, the introduction of the characters, they didn't overdo this and I think that's great!

Literally what the f...

I really cannot breathe, LIKE STOP MAKING ME FEEL LIKE THIS ALL I CAN DO IS CRY. I can see how much So loves Soo, he adores him but he's too possessive, the way he sent her away because of her past love. They loved each other so much, that it was only right that they were not together. It hurt, yes, a lot.

THE TISSUES

From beginning to end this is just so painful to watch, first because we have to see So marry Yeonhwa and Soo in pain, then because we see So in pain bc he lost his mom, and lately Soo in pain again bc of Chaeryung, who betrayed her. This is a very emotional episode and I'm like crying so bad.

So lost but whatever

Everything has just been so confusing lately and basically all I could get from this episode is that So and Soo are very cute and all but they can't be together. I'm so glad this is going according to history!

Beautifully destroyed

I can't stress enough how both painful and beautiful this episode is. Even though some characters had to die, and even though I still cried a river for them, what happened afterwards was just, painful. Even if it's a typical cliche, it worked! So pushing Soo away to keep her safe, even though they're both in pain bc of the loss of the other. The time jump finally worked, Soo waiting for So and 2 years pass, they find each other again, she tries to know what his heart really wants and she succeeds, as they're back together and it's very beautiful. I'm glad they didn't push this for more episodes unlike other dramas, I'm glad they get to be together, even if So now wants the throne and Soo doesn't want that for him. I'm still curious about Wook, I can't really remember (it's been almost 4 years since I watched this lol) what happens with/to him, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm also so glad it's not ignoring history, that the Yoo actually goes crazy and dies bc he's sick, leaving the throne to So.

Very charming and emotional

This was such a ride, but it was a cute episode. The 10th Prince and his wife are just adorable and the love she has for him is beyond me. Watching Moo, So and Jimong like that made me both so sad but it was delightful to see, so glad this drama doesn't have that many flashbacks! I'm so looking forward to Wook and how he's gonna attack, we know based on history that the 3rd Prince basically goes crazy too and dies, leaving the throne to So instead of leaving it to his son. But well that's history so let's see. And what the 10th Prince's wife said was so true, about Soo not completely trusting So. I don't think it is not that she doesn't trust him, but rather that she's still afraid of the future and who he's meant to become. Overall a good episode!

Not very convinced

First of all, yes I know it's Goryeo, I'm a damn Korean history major, but idk I still felt very weird he had to marry that girl, he being 20 and the princess idk 10? Anyway, the kiss was lovely! The fact that Soo kisses him first was even lovelier! And I'm also so so glad they're sticking to history, as So becomes the fourth King and not the third one, so Yoo being alive makes so much sense. Of course the typical cliche of historical dramas, someone holding a sword to her throat so he can drop his, but it's cute ig

Not what I was expecting

It's always very exciting to watch when a new King is announced, but I think what was more interesting is that everyone shows their true colour when it's for something they really want. Even though Soo still cares for Wook, he's only her previous love. Now we're moving onto the main relationship and I just can't stress enough how much I love So. He's such a deep character you don't know much of but at the same time you feel you know everything about him. It was indeed a very interesting episode.

Relationships

Young being suspicious of Eunuch Hong is very funny, because he, of course, thinks she's a man. He tries to forget about it and just focus on other things, of course failing at it. There's a TON of deleted scenes on this episode and they're actually great! Almost at the end, at the lantern festival, where she thinks she sees her mom but it's actually Young, kind of gives us a spoiler of what's going to happen at the end. Young calls Raon his person in front of Yoonsung and forbids her to go with him. Let's remember that even though this was indeed possessive, most historical dramas have this, and a person is not necessarily a love interest, but rather a person you can trust and will never betray you.

No words

Literally no words to describe this episode. It was magnificent. From start to end, there was not a moment in which I wasn't not bored. The 8th Prince turning his back on Soo, and the 4th Prince being there for her every time, see how the tables have turned. Even so, what the Wook did was also very admirable, choosing his family over the girl he loves is not a sin, he must've been heartbroken of course, but he's a reasonable guy, after seeing his mother get on her knees and beg to the Queen, that was just painful to watch. I really have no words I'm sobbing I'm sorry. Now, when everyone wanted to take her side but they were afraid of the King, as he was heartbroken his first love was going to die, and even so, So didn't care about that and stood by her side. Magnificent, beautiful and painful at the same time.
