I would definitely recommend this to anyone! This Chinese Variety show is basically a dating show whereby the people (contestants/contenders/competitors for&of love) live in the same house. By living together, they would obviously start interacting with one another. Everyone starts out by keeping a lookout on their love interests and then proceeds to the courting and etc. I don't wish to spoil so much... but I would give a tip of advice for those who are planning to watch this, there really are certain times where you would hate or dislike certain people (the contestants) in this show.

At the same time, there is kinda like a panel of judges (they're all celebrities) and they give love advice or talk about a lot of topics concerning the idea of love and of relationships... It's quite fun honestly, watching them somewhat debate on various topics pertaining to love, makes someone like me, a hopeless romantic and also somewhat of a love expert feel envious because I ALSO WANT TO JOIN THE PANEL!!! Besides that, there's also free ice cream on every episode for the contestants living inside the house and the judges in the panel... damn it...

Also, in this season, there's actually a season 2 already, I'm currently watching it, the panel of judges have largely changed but the main three still remains to be the main hosts for the second season. Ok on to the main point, in this season, the contestants or contenders for love are actually ordinary-but-not-really-ordinary-people at the same time. You'll know once you start watching the show. But don't worry it's not scripted or anything. It's just that "majority" of the contenders are actually ELITES... or could be considered as they're all pretty successful on their own. By successful, I meant career-wise. Really, it's very exciting!!! It's like watching an actual idol drama but without the scripts and with a lot more realism to it as well as the subtlety (or maybe not) of a typical love story one might possibly experience in their time on this planet. And throughout this journey of watching this show, you'll get to have your ships sailed and on the way only to end in the Marianas Trench or whipped by a thunderstorm called the "third-party". With some being like the Titanic, it seems like sunken transportation with no hope of seeing the daylight... but no, no, no my dear people. If you remember carefully, even though physically, Jack didn't and Rose did. Jack went to heaven or nirvana or whatever place you believe a person goes to after their time on Earth. So technically they did move on and have a new life... What do I exactly mean by using this analogy or comparison, you might ask. Well, I'm basically giving you an overview or a sort of foreshadowing. I won't explain because it not only might ruin your fun in watching this show, it would also ruin my fun in making this somewhat suspenseful spoiler/review... idk honestly... but yeah!

I really hope more people would watch this!!! Great way to relieve the boredom as well as the thirst and itch for a bit of romance, especially for the hopeless romantics... lol

In the first half of the drama:
I love it, the acting was good, the plot is ok, I like the female and the male lead...
Then a lot of shit happened, and the female had to fake her death... can't remember why again but yeah, after faking her death, she flees to another place, while the male lead grieves for her all this time...
The second half of the series:
This is where the second male lead appears... as well as the second female lead...
Let's just say, I pity the second male lead so much... I literally hated all the other characters except for the second male lead, this is the first time this had ever had happened to me, it's quite a novel experience. I never had this much of a reaction towards a second male lead character whereby I continue to watch a great part of the second half just for the second male lead, like legit. In the end, I had to drop the drama in the last few episodes... the pain is too much (pain for the second male lead), though, I got to know about the end of the drama, turns out the savior of the drama, the second male lead, sacrificed his life for the female lead and the ending was basically the female lead and male lead reuniting with each other... OMG, I can't take this... All of the characters except for the second male lead deserves to die, no offense, I really hate everyone in this drama except for the second male lead...
If you are wondering why I hate the female lead so much, well, let's just say she is the type of female lead where she'll use and hurt the second male lead's feelings just to incite jealousy from the male lead... I know that there's a lot of female leads like this but seriously, wtf man...
Anyways, let's move on to the male lead, why do I hate him so much, oh yes, after you finish reading this, you might not wanna this anymore, so hehe hehe. The male lead basically attends to the second female lead because she's hurt and takes care of her and if I'm not wrong the female lead is also hurt at the same time but he doesn't even care... Not only that, he SLEEPS with her (the second female lead), I'm not sure if they really did the deed though, but anyway, the second female lead was the one who tricked the male lead... but regardless, I view the male lead a stud horse that should have been stabbed to death long, long ago. Oh yeah, the female lead found out about this and guess what, she d did the same, used the second male lead to do the same (only sleeping though). I feel so bad for the second male lead, my god... If not for the good osts and the decent acting as well as the second male lead, my rating for this drama would have been at most 1 out of 10, 1 being the worst...

This movie had accompanied me since young, I can't recall the number of times I've watched this but 20 times definitely wouldn't be an understatement. Though the movie's plot is of an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan, I know... very very cliche. But even so, watching this would definitely make your day.

As the title of the movie suggests, "Why Your Crush Doesn't Have A Crush On You?" This movie shows you what maybe some of the reasons as to why your crush doesn't like you. It also teaches you some of the things about love. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. This is a light-hearted, filled with comedy and squeal-worthy romantic scenes movie.

I really didn't expect I'll love this drama... Honestly, I started watching this drama to relieve my stress for the exams and tests... yes, I'm a pro-procrastinator who likes escapism... Anyways, I wasn't really expecting much from this drama, it was just there so I decided to watch it.

And WOW... I was surprised... very very surprised... it's GOOD and FUNNY... like it just slowly starts to overtake my unnecessary worries for my then-upcoming exams. Very enjoyable and would absolutely recommend this to anyone.
The story itself is an often-seen cliche especially if you read online Chinese novels, then you'll really know what I mean. But yeah, it was still fun watching it... though the drama had a lot of comedic vibe to it, there was a bit of angst, especially in the latter part of the drama... but don't worry, it's still a happy ending, they got MARRIED! YES! omg, I was so happy watching the last episode, even though I was sad it was ending, the ending was done satisfying for me, so Idk if y'all might like it but yeah...

The acting wasn't perfect and you shouldn't expect perfection, the casts aren't really comprised of well-seasoned actors I mean this is a low-budget drama (I think, I'm not sure) but yeah. The female lead's acting is still okay, though there is still room for further improvements. The male lead... ermm... his acting really pales in comparison against the female lead and other characters. But it was still bearable... Though I was expecting much more from him since he had acted in a few notable and very famous Chinese dramas like Eternal Love if I'm not wrong, albeit a small supporting character.

But yeah, overall the drama is enjoyable and is recommended to anyone who just wants to watch a light-hearted drama filled with comedic effects.

For most people, the one that introduced them to Zhao Liying aka. Zanilia Zhao was the journey of the flower or the princess agent or even the boss and me. But for me, this was the drama that introduced me to Zhao Liying, or perhaps Chinese dramas. This wasn't really my starting point, but this was the drama that hooked me to the deepest part of my soul and the reason why I'm a drama fanatic, even up until now, I've watched countless of drama throughout the years, yet, this still remains to be my absolute, number 1 favorite, its not because its one of the first Chinese dramas that I've ever watched, well I can't deny, it is one of the first dramas that I've ever watched, by that I meant from the 6th drama to the 10th drama I've ever watched. But that wasn't the reason why it's my favorite for years, I can't really pinpoint why it's my personal favorite, but I can tell you why it could be your favorite, the acting (not only the main leads but everyone else in the drama) was just superb!!! like legit, not even kidding, in terms of acting among all other dramas, I would say it's one of the best. The chemistry, the everything, I just love it to death. The plot is also amazing, It's unique, unlike any other overall, although there were still some clique moments. The music, it just ties everything together. It's just perfect for the theme of the drama. I really, really love this drama. I'm not gonna exaggerate on how many times I've watched this drama, but I've watched this drama at most 20 times. And this isn't even an exaggeration as I'm the type of person to get bored easily when watching the same thing, but this thing just hooks me up like a drug. This is by far, the most number of times I've rewatched a drama, so yeah... This isn't really a very helpful review, but I hope y'all can understand what I mean through this review and how good this drama is.

1. Great acting from both leads as well as supporting roles.

2. Great plot, yes there were some cliche moments and etc. but wasn't it enjoyable?
I mean come on, Lee Minho had to pretend to be gay... YES, GAY!!! He also had to act as a love/makeover/dating expert for the female lead, let's just say... I learned quite a lot in those scenes... and you would too if you join the bandwagon!

3. I think this is quite subjective but I found this drama to be extremely rewatchable, Idk why but yeah... for me this drama is kinda like a classic, something I would watch repeatedly without getting tired of the drama.

I've watched some other dramas acted by Lee Minho before stumbling upon this treasure but I never actually like those dramas, like for example, the one and only "Boys over Flowers". Yes, I know, it's kinda like a classic as well and probably a lot of people's first-ever dramas (it was mine), and maybe that drama was the start of people's deep infatuation with Lee Minho. But for me, this was the drama that Lee Minho truly shone his versatility in acting, even though he acted in this drama quite early on in his career, he managed to portray the male lead perfectly, he manages to capture the maturity that is needed to be able to portray the male lead properly, all the while still at the start of his career. It was from this drama, that truly showcased to me how much potential Lee Minho has in the field of acting.

I don't really understand why the ratings of this drama in this platform seem to be so low but I don't care, this for me is the best K-Drama. Sorry, not sorry. So, hopefully, for people who've been planning to watch this drama now for quite a while or for people who have given up on watching this drama because of the low ratings and have returned to this because you're bored or something, please don't just look at the ratings, look at the other reviews made as well. I really recommend this to anyone and everyone, so please watch this and rate this drama higher. LOL.

VERY VERY GOOD!!! I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE!
Although it's 'yaoi', the grass is greener on the other side.
It's not actually very 'yaoi-esque', if u know what I mean... cuz of the ban on these genres in China, so relax.
You will definitely not regret watching this!

Even after I finished watching it long long ago, it's still deeply ingrained in my mind... I really love this drama, the good acting, the plot, everything! Especially the subtle show of love of the two main leads. There really is a lot of subtlety in this drama pertaining to the love between the two main leads, so much that some people called this drama, more of a bromance drama than a 'yaoi' drama.

To show how much I've dugged myself onto this beautiful greenland, I moved on to the novel after watching the drama, then finished reading the novel, only to stumble upon the anime series of it. Already finished watching the season 1 anime series, I am currently anticipating the upcoming second season of it. I am also planning to read the manga or the webcomics as well... See how far I've gotten myself into... but guess what, I didn't regret it! HA! And now, it's my second favorite Chinese drama out of all time, second only to 'The LEGEND OF Luzhen', which I also absolutely recommend!!!

OMG!, I really love this drama, although it's not my favorite, I really, really enjoyed it. I just wish there was more lovey-dovey moments between the two min leads!!!! I've been hoping for more, but yeah...Also, the acting of the leads and the other characters are really not bad, especially the main leads, they are really good, better than most actors/actresses of other dramas. Hence, why I am really looking forward to season 2!!!

Ok, so some of yall, might actually not watch this drama, cuz it doesn't really have a good ending as some of the other reviewers had said... or if u don't know that, there you go... lol... But I believe, that it's a good ending as it is very open, it allows the audience to use their brains for once. It also not a bad ending, because there is a season 2, which means (spoiler alert) the guy(main lead) hasn't died yet and will be coming back!!! OMG, I REALLY HOPE THAT THERE'S GONNA BE MORE LOVEY-DOVEY MOMENTS!!!!!!

ALSO, I REALLY, REALLY, SHIP THE MAIN LEADS!!!!! AND GUESS WHAT, THEY ARE A COUPLE IN REAL LIFE, THIS EXPLAINS WHY THEIR CHEMISTRY IN THE DRAMA IS SO DAMN GUD!!!!!

absolutely recommend this to people who are looking for some light action dramas that are filled with a lot of fluffy romance. Also, recommend this to people who are new to the Chinese drama community or the drama community in general. ALso warning: SOME OF U MIGHT FIND THIS DRAMA A BIT LACKING IN TERMS OF PLOT AND ACTION... CUZ AGAIN, LET ME SAY IT ONE MORE TIME, it's A DRAMA THAT IS VERY LIGHT, MEANT TO BE ENJOYED AGAIN AND AGAIN CONTINUOUSLY DUE TO IT NOT BEING A FREAKING ROLLERCOASTER RIDE...

so yeah, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

The plot is not bad, quite unique, although there were still some cliques like the memory loss.
The acting is well... there were some hit and miss... however, generally speaking, there is still room for improvement.
The music is ok, I like the opening tho... the opening, for me, represents the whole drama, as in the vibe of the music, if that even makes sense... but yeah...
Overall, I do recommend this drama for anyone interested but a tip of advice, just don't expect too much.

I really recommend this drama or teleserye to anyone and everyone!

Like most Filipino dramas, the quality you would find of this drama isn't really that good. But it's really worth a watch for everyone. The plot of the story is really filled with a lot of cliches... like long lost daughter, poor to rich cinderella, somewhat of an ugly duckling turned to swan, the ex regretting, a baby born (not out of wedlock), evil stepmother and stepsisters, evil mother-in-law and etc...
There's really too much to count... but even though the plot is filled with this many cliches, it's still quite enjoyable. Personally, I watch a lot of Filipino teleseryes growing up, but I never really rewatch them years after that or something like that. Only this teleserye managed to come back again and again, which is very surprising as I don't rewatch Filipino dramas, thus became my favorite Filipino drama.
So, hopefully much more people would watch, review this drama more. You guys will really like it.

I've never actually watched the previous adaptation of the drama, the one by Marian Rivera in 2007. But that was definitely a hit, immensely popular, hence why there's this. I don't really think there's much difference between the two aside from the actors and actresses portraying the characters. Maybe some might not agree with me but I really think this is not any worse or less than the Marimar in 2007.

I really recommend this drama to everyone!!! So please watch this, it needs more reviews and watchers.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of thriller, suspense, and crime-solving. The romance in this drama isn't really "officialized" but there are A LOT OF HINTS and very obvious ones as well.

Personally I love the male lead. He's extremely intelligent, gifted with a supreme eye for details, and is somewhat of an all-knowing person. He's humorous and has his own swag and charisma. He's not the usual cold and unfeeling, domineering male leads you would see most of the time in the dramas.

The female lead?... erhm... at the start, I did like the female lead, she's seen as a capable, likable, cheerful, rational female lead... but as the drama progress... the female lead seems to rub the wrong the vibe to me personally... like she kinda losses her good points and becomes the sort of female leads one would see in dramas... YES, stupidly naive, kind, reckless female leads... OMG... and a bit annoying as well. Idk, this is just my personal opinion. Though, there are times in the latter part of the drama whereby the female lead regains a bit of her IQ and her good points that were seen at the start of the drama. SO don't worry too much.

Spoiler Alert:
There's a twist as to who the main antagonist is... hehehe... I was personally surprised for the character was my second-favorite after the male lead. In the last few episodes of the drama, it seems to take a dramatic turn, like new characters are suddenly introduced... I don't really think it is necessary to include those characters, I mean if they want to include them, at least included them in the middle of the drama, not the end... like wth... and the way they were introduced was very abrupt... it was really bad, as pointed out by previous reviewers or commentators, it made the audience watching the drama feel like they missed not just one episode but many, many episodes... The ending was... I don't really like it. It was an open ending, goddamnit... like why?!!! Idk what happened to the production crew or whatnot but the latter few episodes as well as the ending was really bad and not to my liking and I think most people would've found it quite annoying as well.

My ranting:
I mean idk if there's going to be a season 2 or not... if there is I would definitely watch it. But, if there was, then I guess the open ending could be a great start for the second season but if there isn't... wth. Anyways, I would still recommend this drama, it's really good, just not a perfect drama, I mean there's no such thing as perfection isn't there? And regardless of my misgivings with the drama, I still rated it a 10.. because it's really an enjoyable watch!

Do not recommend this to anyone.
Contrary to most reviews you've probably already seen about this drama, I dislike this drama and thus, rated this 3 out of 10 overall, due to the poor acting, messed up plot. The music seems to be the only one worth watching for.
Due to the good reviews that the drama received, I thought this would be a worthy drama to waste my time on and enjoy. But who would have thought, I'd quit this drama at episode 2...
Ok, some may find this quite enjoyable, but if you are like me, who wishes to save his brain cells from further damage, please heed my advice and do not watch this drama...

(The female lead is retarded, annoying, stupid and extra Af, without an inch of common sense...)
