This may be one of my favorite watched dramas for the year. One of my favorite moments was the talent show. The episodes leading up to it showed Tang Xue to be really bad at singing but during the actual every I was shocked that she didn't flop. I also really enjoyed the initial love triangle, well Hexagon maybe?
It was nice that for once every character, for the most part, had a picked match though I do wish to have seen more of Bian Cheng and Zhou Ran. I feel like there at the end there was definitely something sparking there.
At the end of episode 40 there was a small slideshow of the different athletes that had performed in the winter Olympics representing china and the medals they had won which I thought was super cool.
after finishing the drama one character stood out most to me even though only momentarily popping in every now and again which was Song An Jie portrayed by Qu Xiao Yu. I'm defiantly looking forward to seeing him in other dramas.

A 2020 Must Watch !!
If you've watched any of the other remakes or the original Chinese version with Ethan and Joe then you can really pick out the stark differences. The few changes made though didn't affect the overall storyline and I am by no means disappointed in this remake.
I greatly enjoyed the lead female role and just like when watching the original I really was overwhelmed when she lost the baby. Dry heaving sobs and all, I really believe she pulled her role off.
With the main male lead, in my opinion, Ethan was more jerkish and they really downplayed that aspect with the new one. Ethan was just more cold and harsh to me.
Like with the MCH kiss spin off's you can have really good or really bland remake's and this drama def passed the remake test.
