Prepare yourself for the water tap and make sure you have tissues!
A story about life. This is not your ordinary drama, but touches more about Life and situations people will face. It is a very beautiful but sad drama with some cute adorable moments along with some humor. It is a beautiful story of watching two people getting to know each other, fall in love and work things out throughout life's challenges. Until the biggest challenge hits, a terminal illness. In this series, there are many life lessons and moments you can learn from. Many of the advises and scenarios are very valuable to learn. The series is also a rather tragic show, alot of waterworks - so make sure you prepare alot of tissues before watching. Both the male lead and female lead are quite adorable together and I feel like they really did an extremely good job portraying their characters. The entire casts also did an extremely good job bringing this series to life. The songs paired to this series are also quite nice and I love them.

Action packed movie
Plus point that surpasses many factors.... It's a Jackie Chan movie!! It's filled with action packed with a mixture of comedy (like all Jackie Chan movies). The additional parts would be that Yang Yang and a few other named people are within.Overall, I find this movie great and also funny at certain moments, filled with action and especially love movies that have a mixture of variety of languages within - along with the English subtitles for better understanding of the other languages. Personally, I feel that we should have more of these mixture of variety of languages and places in a movie. It was feeling quite strange - for me - to hear Jackie Chan conversing in Mandarin though as I have always only watched all of his movies in Cantonese. But still enjoyed the movie nonetheless. The entire casts also did a good job bringing the movie to life. It definitely is something I would watch again, but only because I really enjoyed the movie. There were various reviews commenting about CGIs in the movie, but oh come on.... CGIs have LONG EXISTED in many other movies, so why the heck are you complaining and whining about some CGI hyenas / animals?! Better a CGI of an animal than having a real animal and then some wanky animal activists wailing about animal abuse just for entertainment purposes!

A wonderful movie
This movie is, in my personal opinion, extremely good. Although I have to admit that the switching from present to past and back again can be confusing if you aren't concentrating on the movie. Like all Jacky Chan movies, they all have their individual delights and highlight. This one is not any different. I find the storyline of this movie quite good and the actors + actresses all did a very good job bringing this movie to life.I would say watch it, if you find the synopsis and trailer intriguing / interesting. Rewatch also depends on your individual opinion of the movie after you are done. For me, I have watched it twice so far. I especially love the duet theme song. Beautifully sung!

Great Movie
Grew up with Jackie Chan shows, therefore I always "chase" his movies. His movies never disappoint. It is always filled with action and also humor. This one is also a great show to watch. Packed with alot of action and suspense, definitely something for people who are big fans of Jackie Chan. I would recommend to watch if you are a) a real big Jackie Chan fan and b) you love action packed movies / non stop action.

Not my cup of tea
It's a mini series, consisting of 20 episodes and each about 10 mins long instead of the usual 40 mins long. However, watch it only if you find the synopsis intriguing / interesting instead of the reviews. The mini series is so so, though not really my cup of tea. It has a mixture of fraud- financially and relationship wise, psychotic"ness", obsessiveness, murder, suspense and etc. The entire cast definitely did a great job bringing the series to life. I am sure there are others who might appreciate this series but - my personal opinion and two cents - not worth rewatching.

Can't seem to grasp the storyline
I watched this because I noticed Zhao LuSi was part of the cast and it would be my first movie of Zhao LuSi. The synopsis was written that made it sound really interesting. However, I am sadden to say that this movie.... not very good. The storyline has alot of holes and seemed - like some of the reviews here wrote - very choppy and sometimes out of place. The way the movie jumped from one scene to another, sometimes without any link to each other is very annoying and disruptive also. The casts, despite the choppy"ness" of the script / storyline, all did a good job on this.I would say that if you read the synopsis provided and it caught your interest, yea sure then go watch it. As for a rewatch... for me personally, not really worth the 2nd watch. Too much nonsensical areas and gaps.

Just average for me
I honestly started watching this series because of Zhao LuSi and I really watched majority of her shows - except movies so far. However, sadly I have to say.... this is one of the series I am not really fond of nor found the energy to go through a 2nd time. I wouldn't say her acting is stiff or bad in this series - like some of the comments / reviews left for this series. But I feel that it is kinda lacking of something. Firstly, I had a slight confusion moment at the starting of the series because LuSi wasn't playing the princess from the get go. I had to pause, re-read the synopsis a couple of times to better understand the series and then continue watching. However, I (personally) find that this series is too much jumping here and there, too much petty fights etc. The "2nd female lead" or also known as LuSi's cousin in this series is abit too much with her insecurity"ness" and her "I need to be better than everyone especially the main female lead then only I am happy" attitude. The chemistry between LuSi and Zheng Ye Cheng (the male lead) is somewhat stale and not "sparkly" like many of LuSi's other series. There are many sweet moments or funny moments throughout the series that helps brighten the mood but I feel the negative parts are just too overwhelming. Although the lack of interest for the series, I have to say that all of the casts did a good job making this series become a reality.
I, personally, will not fully recommend this series... unless you have read and take a liking to the synopsis of this series yourself. But the music / soundtrack paired for this series is amazing. I really love the songs in this show! <3

It's alright
I was curious about this series because of Jeremy Tsui. It is a short series ( not exploding with extremely loads of episodes) but I would say the series is not that bad and not fantastic either. It is somewhat neutral for me. There are alot of cute and funny moments in this series but I would have to say that everyone of the casts did an extremely good job, especially Jeremy Tsui with all the many variety of personalities etc. They all really did a great job. Theoretically, the series actually ends by Episode 28, the last 2 is not really altogether related to the series but just the insight of the individual Jeremy Tsui became after he lost his memories. The songs, in my opinion, are averagely paired. There are some nice songs inside but not all of them.
It is good for a first watch if you are interested in the series after reading the synopsis. The rewatch depends on how you feel about the entire series after completing it.

Light, amusing and strong willed women
The series is very short and light with alot of amusing sides to it. My 2nd series of watching Jin Chen as the female lead. I have to say, her playing the strong minded / willed woman is indeed fitting. She really knows how to play that role extremely well. Storywise is very nice, not so long winded and sweet. Like always, there are a few moments / parts where you just face palm and there are moments where you just melt. The 2nd female lead is also rather annoying and childish. But then again, if you are someone who never really need to work much to get what you want, I guess you are also ending up spoilt and annoying - especially when things don't go your way. The songs are paired quite nicely for this series, love them.Personally, it is a very nice first watch, however... I can't really speak for the rewatch. I guess it will depend on individual, if you actually love the show from beginning to the end and if you think it is worth to binge again.

Amazing thriller
First time watching a mandarin thriller..... have been used to watching the TVB ones previously. The series is indeed very very easy to get hooked on to. Starting on present day and jumping back and forth in timelines can also be somewhat confusing if you walk out to get a cup of drink or something while letting it run. The casts of the entire series really did a great job bringing this story to life. The Male and Female lead are quite good together and make the story even more interesting. The songs paired for this series are also very nice to listen to.Was this review helpful to you?

It is not as shi.tty as many writes
Firstly, Zhao Lu Si series..... alot of humorous, cheeky and adorable scenes. I do have fondness of watching both Zhao Lu Si and Xu Kai Cheng's series but somehow, both of them together as a couple doesn't really sit right for me (personal opinion). They do not really match as a pair - compared to all the other series I watched of the both of them individually. Nonetheless, they did a good job together in this series. One is all seriousness, no nonsense and sometimes abit aloof while the other is constantly bubbly, cheeky and lively. Watching both of them together in this series can be quite amusing. The other casts all did a very good job. Including Ren Hao as Zhao Lu Si's childhood bestie and "sweetheart". Yes, there are many talks about how his possessiveness sort of ruined the show, however not every show / series are meant to be a rose garden. Some reflects on real life too. His character's possessiveness isn't something new in real life either. There are some crazies, both male and female, that do not know the borderline whatsoever when in love with another person. I do not think that it is a reason for people to shoot down the series. Yes, the drama of it in this series is quite tiring and annoying ... heck you would also be tired out and annoyed if it happens to you in real life. I wouldn't just shelf something over a tiny detail.
I find that this series, excluding the "drama" is actually quite good. All the casts did a very good job acting in this series. And this series is good because being a first female in school during ancient times is very very hard to come by. Many can really just dream about it or learn in secrecy. Therefore, to be given a chance to enter school to study and go thru the examinations is no small feat. So I find this series a good 1st watch. Whether you find fit to rewatch, well that is entirely up to you personally.
Not all the music paired with this show is to my liking but there is some really nice tracks for this series.

Extremely cute and adorable!
If you love cats and romance with a touch of humour, you can consider watching this series. It is not a very long series - not many episodes in total - and the series is filled with alot of cuteness and definitely a lot of humour parts. The casts did a very good job in this series. I really love everyone's work, especially the male lead. I feel the male lead is very "sporting" especially after watching the cat courtship dance XD The female lead is also very cute and adorable, not those faint and dainty kind of female. The OST is also quite nicely paired with the entire series. I would recommend (definitely) a first time watch for some light funny and adorable moments series. However, rewatching would be up to your individual opinion after completing the entire series. Was this review helpful to you?
Short, cute and adorable series
The series are short episodes wise and length of each episode wise. Each episode is approximately 8 mins long. The story is indeed very funny and cute, the actors and actresses all did a very nice job in their own roles. There are alot of adorable moments and also a lot of funny quirky moments. The "drama" in this series isn't extreme, the entire series is considered quite light. It is definitely something to watch if you are looking for something light to watch. The series, in a way, reminds me of the series "You are the years I am the Stars" whereby the female lead is an antidote to the male lead's weird disease. Was this review helpful to you?
Absolutely fantastic!
This series has absolutely so much humor and cheekiness in it. Couldn´t stopped laughing even from the 1st episode itself! But then again, series with Zhao Lusi is always nice and refreshing without that much of stressy drama. A time travelling series, this is indeed a very interesting series to watch - with alot of funny moments, slight romance and definitely no extreme stressy drama - and I would definitely recommend it. Spanning 2 seasons, it has remarkable storyline, awesome paired music and the entire cast definitely did an awesome job with this series. The male lead is especially good, without his always expressionless facial features. Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet, nice with a little twist of confusing
A time traveling series, though not a long winded one (thankfully). I find the story very interesting, amusing at parts, and sometimes slightly confusing. The first reason why the series caught my eye was that it was only 12 episodes long. Barely found any few episodes long series that is really good, so I am actually quite surprised that this one turned out quite good. With a little touch of fairy tale here and there, it makes the series even more fascinating. I enjoy watching the male and female lead, actually my 2nd series of the male lead, and I find that they are quite good together. Their acting together is not that stiff. It would be a series for someone who likes to have a little romance and loves time traveling. Was this review helpful to you?
