Realistic & touching

I hardly write reviews but I feel this drama is too underrated and doesn't do it justice. The stories that happened in the hospital and the characters are realistic and often touching and the acting of the 3 leads are fantastic. It reminds me of ER somewhat but it focuses on cardiology and 3 people, their growth, their change, their bond in the hospital. Story moves along much better than a lot of costume or profession cdramas or and it is perfectly cast. I dropped a lot before about firefighters, pilots, lawyers, businessmen because they are just not up to par or at all interesting but this one I think it's very well made and written.

REFRESHING to see in cdramas!

I support cdramas going into new genres vs. the often over hyped costume dramas or over produced rom-com. I also love shorter dramas like these because they don't drag and waste your time. Yes the story is not perfect, mostly because they had to edit and cut a lot in order to get pass censorship but this director Leste Chen at least tried. I also love his filming style. All the actors are well cast and gave solid performances. Song Weilong is able to prove his versatility and show depth in his acting with this new look and character. Vicky Chen is young and talented creating great chemistry with the male lead. I think it's about time cdramas do something different and I give them a lot of credit for it.

So very disappointing...

I really expect more from the highest paid actor in South Korea script of choice but this drama pull out every cliche which made it so predictable and it dragged. To the point I'm just finishing for the sake of doing my workout while watching (more listening) and because my husband likes the female lead actress. I don't even care what happens to these characters anymore. I also felt NOTHING, no butterflies with this couple, no heartache, no sadness with all the tears and no joy in watching this at all.

DO NOT MISS!

Rare glimpse of how EXO started with all 12 members. Twelve fun, rambuntious, energetic, loving, young at heart guys working hard for a common goal to a bright future. I started because I be was curious about Kris Wu and his career but ended up falling in love with EXO, their music, choreography, story and the 12 adorable guys. Success really don't come easy especially with 12 different personalities, each strong at different aspect but all getting along here. Often incredibly sweet watching them talk, laugh, cry, scream, play, grow, bond and develop wonderful bromances. There is still this innocence to them here from just starting out in industry and it's a joy to watch. I started and couldn't stop, LOVE! You don't want to miss this.

Honest Review

This movie made 3.8 billion RMB box office so I was curious and after watching it, I totally get why. It is off the bat captivating and a very realistic subject we can all relate to. Who doesn't want to make some fast cash? Cyber fraud is very real nowadays playing into the minds of those struggling wishing to make a quick fortune. It is base on a true story which is totally my thing but I would not trust all the details with any China movie/drama. However it is directed beautifully, well cast, fast pace, engaging, relatable and a great subject to warn society about a very real problem. I would say every actor did their job but female lead and the villains shined the most and their characters are more challenging.

Highly recommended!

Being a huge fan of Mark (Eternal Love) and Allen (Ashes of Love) I was highly anticipating this film with them working together. Of course I watched this as soon as it came out on Netflix and I'm so happy it did not disappoint. I had confidence in the story because it is base on a Japanese novel Onmyōji and I was right. It flows well and has depth. Casting and acting are absolutely superb, not only in the main two leads but the other 3 support actor/actresses are excellent as well. I love the chemistry between Mark and Allen and both actors exude their own charisma on screen. You can also tell and appreciate how much work was put into costumes, sets, designs, and production. There are also intricate fight scenes I love which I had to slow motion and rewatch multiple times to fully appreciate. One negative is some CGI fight scenes, can cause a disconnect with audience and could be better executed. Overall it is a movie I very much enjoy and look forward to part 2.

More I watch more I enjoy

To be honest I wasn't a huge fan of part 1: Go Go Squid but I am a huge fan of Hu Yitian and his character Wu Bai. At first like many others I was disappointed with all the flashbacks, slow motion and exaggerated moments but I can tell you if you can get pass it and give it more episodes, the story will develop and come alive. Here are the many positives why I am enjoying this drama so much:
1-CP: Yitian and Yitong make a great match, appearance and acting wise. For the first time I am not wondering why a guy like him would go for a girl like her. Yitian definitely has been improving and I feel like Yitong being so natural, makes him a better actor.
2-Wu Bai/DT is even better than I expect. Thinking at first he is just another cool hot guy like Jiang Chen in A Love So Beautiful but Wu Bai is so much more. He is often adorable and completely boyfriend goals.
3-Story: it is about first love. What makes it not a typical story is how long DT has been in love with Appledog and how much he invested and continues to, enough to melt any girl.
4-The switch from e-gaming to robotics is more exciting. I am not just watching them press buttons but actual robot machines fighting. I also really like the robot housekeeper at KK central.
5-Side story to Appledog's sister is not bad.

A Hidden Gem!

I usually don't write reviews but I feel like this drama has been very overlooked. I highly recommend it for 1-Casting: the leads' chemistry and sexual tension is off the chart and acting is superb, along with the support actor who plays the prince. It really does make you feel for them. 2-Original story that is very binge worthy, I chased it and finish in days. Usually I find Chinese dramas to drag but this one has the right amount of episodes with me wanting to see more. There is also a poetic nature to story I love. 3-Production: from the begin song to costumes to sets to fight scenes, you can tell they put in the work.

However I have two negatives and "spoiler alert", DO NOT continue to read if you did not watch drama yet...1-all the teasing and sexual connotations amount to as far as only hugging was very VERY disappointing! and 2-not a complete story, I need part 2, Shaw Qu and Li Yitong now becomes my top couple I desperately want to work together again.
