Two hours eyecandy tale

Good actors, strong storyline with a lot of unexpected twists, in a beautiful chinese fantasy world. The storyline is great, no absolute good or evil, everything have a part in this tale.
I came to watch Mark Chao, and did not disappointed. The other actors are great too, fit their roles and act perfectly. Extra point for the half naked Wang Duo - Deng Lun catfight, I did not ecpected this. :D
The CGI is stunning, china is absolute on the first line now.
Totally worth to watch, minimum once.

Cute fox story with tons of artificial flowers

It was so bad it is already good. The story line is simple using every cliche from the industry. The actors are cute, the artificial flowers are cover EVERYTHING :D
The boys are hot, and of course the director use them as eye candy every time as possible. The girls are beautiful, but their characters are almost empty. The dubbing is painful and totally out of the screen.
Extra good point for the beautiful chinese dresses for the main lead, it is rarely used in modern dramas. It was good to watch.

Lovely story if you need something light and easy on a sunday evening.
No rewatch value.

Light xianxia, only worth to watch for the 2.nd couple

It is a light drama, you dont have to use a lot of braincapacity to follow it, but it have warm and lovely storyline. No, not the main storyline, the second one :)

Pan Mei Ye (Xiao Qing / Qing Qing) was a very annoying character in first sight, overreacted actions and too noisy behaviour. Then I have to realise, yes, that is how a silly blue chicken could act if it could be an elf, so her acting become my favourite. One of my favourite, because the other was the second male lead Deng Wei ( Xue Qian Xun ) who portrayed an immortal lord with soo mutch elegance what I haven't seen since Luo Yunxi in the Ashes of love. It is unbelivable, that this series is his first drama. He is really awesome. Extra point, that these two have got really good chemisty, their acting together is living and vivid, can't stop rewatch them. I have to agree, they totally got this show and I hope both of them have got more opportunity in the future. Acting is 7 point only for them and the other sidecast.

I am really sorry the poor storyline of Zhu Zan Jin (Mingge Xingjun [Immortal of Fate]). Guys, this actor have got far more skill than this, it was a waste to gave him soo little time.

The ending is happy, but only the second couple have got valuable, well written "endscene" .
The main couple just met in the pink forest with lot of firefly. Again...

Chinese F.r.i.e.n.d.s. - best romcom of 2020

Story 9.0/10
Lovely and funny story with small flaws. I giggled a lot because of the unexpected twists. Sometimes the advertisment kill the mood, but all of them is forgivable. The main storyline is great, the other sidekick stories are less entertaining. There are some interesting 'out of the box' thoughts: girls with girls in the bar, older woman - younger guy pair. I have never seen these before in chinese series, it is fresh, new and brave. Thanks to the censors to not kill it. :)

Acting/ Cast 10/10
The two main lead is brilliant, they take this series into the high sky. Luo Yunxi is a brilliant actor - I always says :D - in this series he showed a kinda new face. Bai Lu was not know to me before, but she is awesome, very talented and this two together is a nuke. Everybody praising them, and they totally deserve it.
Gao Hanyu, the second lead get less possibility to show his talent here. He was great in the Flipped and in the FuYao, and when have to be a lover, a friend, a hearthbroken guy or a badass badboi he can showed himself.
The other cast is really good, Guan Zi Jing is perfect sidekick in every situation, Tao Si Yuan is scary and psicho. :) The big surprise is Ran Xu, he have got talent and charisma from the beginning, I hope he can have more opportunity in the future.
AND the doggo. Tangyuan take everything, If se is in the set she rule the screen. Princess <3

Music 7.0/10
Lovely music, good to listen. The big surprise is Gao Hanyu - Miracle. I did not know that he have got an awesome voice like this, to me this is the best one from the soundtrack. I liked Riley Wang - "Sometimes", and Blue Bird - 丁当(Della) songs too.

Rewatch Value 10/10
Anytime, when you need a lovely story. Romcom of 2020.

Overall 9.0/10
There are minor flaws, illogical storylines, too direct ads and sometimes the second leads are really boring. But worth to watch, or I should say: must watch, minimum once.

Unbelivable good, MUST watch

This series was good. It was soo good, I even made a dramalist acc to write a rewiew about it.

Totally honest about the chinese shobiz, we can see the darkness behind the shining, the work of the staff, the making of dramas, the merch behind the scenes, the crazyness of the web and the fans. Everything is so brutally honest and feels painfully true, it is unbelivable.

The cast is good, the director is awesome, some scenes like moving artwork. Absolutely took me inside the story. I dont remember when was the last time when I cryed because of a series, but it happened now. Twice.

It is a MUST WATCH series, maybe rewatch later.

Worth to watch - once.

The actors, the sets and the dresses was amasing. The storyline was the weakest point of this series.

Actors:
Leo Luo handsomeness overkill, his acting become better and better with the time. The best was the prison deathrow scene with "his father". The "chemisty" working well between this two, (Li Ya Tian) it is good to watch them together. Sadly, the two mail lead haven't got this chemistry, very hard to feel the unconditioned love bethween them. Zhao Wen Hao is a surprise, he can act, he can fight, I was sorry he haven't got more scenes. Looking forward his series, I hope he got more opportunity in the future.

Sets:
The dresses are beautiful, all of them masterpiece. It was good to watch these with a lot of chinese element (bamboo, gingko, lotus) congratulations to the creator. Totally in love with them.
The CGI is beautiful, nothing fall off from the screen. Expect those painful waterfalls against the physic. The Moon walley and the house of the Shanguang family was my fav.

Storyline:
OMG. Where to start. It was pain in the arse. Lot of illogical movement, the main lead woman just whining/crying/fade ot most of the time, she need to be saved always. It would be ok, be she supposed to be the most badass woman in that realm, so the result is pathetic. It is a wuxia drama, but lack of good fighting scenes. I mean there are dramatic- gigantic- epic fights, but the choreography only working witl Luo Yunxi and Zhao Wen Hao.

In ntushell: If you like to watch LYX this series is to you. Every other case maybe worth to watch once, but thats enough. I am sorry for the cast, the money and the enrgy was spend on this series, because some little change in the script this would be far better.
