It's very similar. The major difference that Tenshi to Akuma is a "Buddy Cop" show with slight comedy and there's no shifting between past and the present days. While Cold Case is a much serious and darker show.

Both are adaptation of Ikedo Jun's story about Idealistic Banker who wants to "reform" the bank. The main difference is that Hanzawa Naoki is a suspense and have a big plot while Hanazaki Mai is a episodic drama with slight comedy.

-Yamegoku is basically Keizoku/SPEC, but without the element of weirdness.

- Both drama elaborate comedy and investigation. Yabe Kenzo is more/less have a gintama-style comedy (Inside jokes, parody, refference) while Nemesis is the usual cheesy Japanese comedy.
