The plotline was okay, but I guess they didn't have enough screen time to develop it, so it gave me the sensation of watching a story being told in a hurry. I like the actor on it, but at some point it also felt a little bit overacted. I'm still trying to figure out Jet's character tbh, he was there just to feel jealous and then to give Mok a hint that didn't even work lol. Mok being a vet sounded like something important, but at the end the information got lost with a lot of other stuff that I thought could be relevant and they weren't. Ok we have the bunny scene, but let's be honest, you don't need to be a vet to like bunnies. What I didn't really appreciate was the scene where Mok pretended to try commiting suicide. That was a no-no for me tbh, this topic is too serious to be handle like that. It wasn't funny.
Mok's story was kinda messy, he was heartbroken and went to the same hotel his ex was and then he find someone and magically got his heart a cure lol I keep wondering how boring his life was to say to someone he barely knows that that day was the day he was the happiest in his entire life. And fight he almost got with Zen... ??? If we start fights everytime we see our ex's current boy/girlfriend the world will collapse lmfao. I think this drama was made just to give us some superboy project and that's it.
I can't say it was horrible but man... For a drama with just 4 episodes with 10-15 min each it was quite hard to watch...

My ship sank :(
I'm not sure how I feel about this series yet (I just finished watching it - literally). I cannot deny there were some good messages behind everything but I cannot also deny that the delivering was kinda sloppy to some degree - and it is not the actors falt at all. It was an okay series, I was able to laugh, cry and be mad with the characters until I had a stomachache. I won't say this will be the best BL you will ever watch but it is also not the worst. For me it landed on the middle with the same engineering, university and beauty contest stuff we are tired of watching (tired but we still watch lol). I think I landed in the series with big expectations because I found the teaser extremely good and because I like New's previous works a lot (my expectations for him became higher since UWMA).Strongest points:
*Fiat and JJ.
This is the first time I liked JJ's character lol. Tbh it was also the first time I liked Fiat's character also. They not only delivered the characters very well but they were also the best friends everyone deserves. They were there for their friends and that's it. The only sad thing about them is that I was shipping them from the beginning:')
*some good messages
I was impressed by the amount of messages the plot had. I think it was the first time I watched something that actually talks openly about hiv and safe sex.
We also have space to start a conversation about people's expectations on each other. Pai's parents expected too much, Itt also expected too much, everyone expect Pai to act in a certain way. At some point I was screaming at my TV to Itt saying "wtf you trying to make Pai act in a certain way to better himself is just as the same thing as Pai's parents expecting him to be perfect". When Itt came to that conclusion also (at the end) I felt relieved, really.
Points I didn't like:
* The lack of communication between the main characters
I don't even know how they managed to get together in the end. Seriously. They all acted in their own way without communicating with each other. It's idea to dismiss Pai just to prove a pointless point (that Pai should speak out his mind more) was trashy. I feel for Waan who were in the middle of this situation. If you get too anxious when the main couple don't communicate properly, this drama is not for you.
* Some important stuff from the plot just disappeared? Like what happened to Itt's dad and his new girlfriend? I thought that was a important point on the plot but I'm still wondering wtf happened between them.
* This series has two parts, basically. When they were in highschool and when they got on their freshman year on university. Ok, there's probably less than a year between these two parts, right? Right. So why I felt years passed? Lol i don't know if it was just me who felt that way but I felt like at least two years passed between part 1 and 2.
Anyways, i enjoyed the drama in general.
The acting was great and I think Pai and Itt had great chemistry even tho for me the whole series sounded more like a bromance than a romance. I didn't like PurexFolk that much and not because I think they didn't have chemistry or a good story, but because I still shipp Pure and Waan lol (sorry - not sorry). But I can admit that Pure and Folk's plot was even better than Pai and Itt's and the chemistry between them was just right. They tried to touch in a lot of delicate subjects (like cancer, hiv, expecting too much from others, lack of communication, parents being negligents towards their kids, etc) and I think maybe it was too much because at some point it looked like they were not able to deal with every point they tried to reach. I was expecting a little bit more because I know New (the director) is somehow good dealing with a lot of characters and side-plots at once but I don't think it really worked in this case (aside from Pure and Fluke's plot). Idk, as I said in the beginning this series landed in a very middle line for me. Not too great but also not that bad. It's okay, you can try watching it and drop it if you get too annoyed with Itt and Pai communicating through their own perceptions on what the other one is thinking and being somewhat as*holes throughout the process lol.

But I was also great to watch offgun being offgun lol.
Fun fact: when my mom watched Teedo kissing a girl she said "it is so weird to watch them kissing girls" LOL.

It was okay
I had no expectations for this series since I didn't enjoyed the first one that much (I still don't get the pretend to attempt suicide scene) and maybe that's why I found it unexpectedly okay. The OST was a thousand times better than the first one but it lacked a plotline. Funny cause we had a plotline on the first "The Moment" but not enough screentime and it seems here was the opposite: a lot of screentime for a very weak plot. I say the plot was weak because there's nothing special on it. Mhok and Bay was trying to get to know each other better but kept being interrupted by two other guys. And imagine being on vacation and meet your boss, i feel for Bay lol. I also don't understand why everyone is so whipped by Bay... I mean, he's cute for sure but come on... I thought we got pass that on BL series but it seems we didn't. Surprisingly AA's character was very likeable unlike Jet's. I actually don't know how do I feel about Boston. I like Jet (specially him playing Jack in Gen. Y) but Boston was just annoying for my taste. The horse scene was hard to watch and I felt relieved when Bay and Mhok joked about it tbh lol.
Besides that the rest was okay but I have to agree with everyone who found Copter's cameo creppy LOLOL. The gift idea Mhok had was cute but I won't say I would appreciate if my boyfriend hires someone to follow us on the shadows to take pictures lol. I think my review sounded like I didn't like "the moment since", but it was okay I was just expecting more from Starhunter. The song was very good tho.
Anyways, seeing AA shirtless is always a bless so I have no complains about that Lol.

It's not THAT bad
I started watching the cupid coach with very low expectations since a lot of people said it's hard to watch, but tbh I'm kinda enjoying it.All people's complaints are probably true and maybe I like it because I don't get bothered that easily, but idk... It's not that bad.
Yes, it feels low budget (and probably it is) and very amateur, but yeah people have to start somewhere. The main plot it's actually very interesting and I'm sure that this plot in the hands of an experienced director with more money would end up in an amazing series. I won't belittle the actual staff tho and I thank their effort to make this series anyways. There's a lot of pointless scenes that could be cut and the secondary couple has almost zero chemistry (they are also kinda annoying), but I like the main couple very much. The chemistry is there, they are both cute and I just love Nite's clueless expressions lol.
Unfortunately there're some sentences with no subs, but you can still get through it.
You can give it a chance if you feel like doing it, but do it with an open heart lol.

I have some mixed feelings about this series. At the beginning I was kinda obsessed with it and I used to laugh so hard that I thought Tonhoncholatee would become one of my fav BLs. Well it didn't. But I'm not that mad with the series overall.First things first: Tonhon is not that homophobic on the novel (i didn't read the novel, but I watched a YouTube video from a girl who had and pointed out the differences between the novel and the series) and I don't know why they made him that way if in the end they also threw the "i was in love with you since ever" bs. I actually didn't buy the "one-sided love since we were child" story tonhon told Chon at the end. I didn't also understand what this story has anything to do with the fact Ton kissed Amp just to prove a pointless point. I still don't understand why Chon suddenly was able to forgive Ton because of this story lol. I guess he was able to forgive Ton because 1) they are fictional characters and 2) they were on the last episode.
The plot itself was nothing new and I won't explain myself here because a lot of other users did it already, so I wasn't expecting much regarding plot (if you want something different go for Manner of Death) but I was kinda interested because the series's teaser was very good and Chon seemed to be a different main character (specially because he didn't lower his head for Amp). I still think Chon is a good character. Actually I think every character is somewhat good because they have good stuff going on and they also have flaws. I think they could do a better job with Tonhoncholatee if they had more episodes but they spend a lot of time also with some unnecessary bs, but I'm not an expert on recording series nor editing them.
I can understand Ton's dad issues even tho I don't agree with them. But the way things were dealt at the end was ???¿¿????¿. I can see that point on the plot working out if Ton's dad had really some time to think. But I give him kudos for one of the best lines in the series: accepting someone is also a way to show them love. There's a transgender youtuber i follow (she's from my country - brazil) that once said that she understood when her parents got shocked when she came out. When a woman gets pregnant the parents tend to dream about that child and build a lot of dreams for themselves. We know that this is not healthy at all but it is reality. And she said that she understand she killed that dream and they needed time to deal with that. I think this is somewhat what was happening to Ton's dad.
The solution for TonChon relationship was also very ???. Of course they could try "renting" a womb (this is illegal in my country lol) but this should be their decision also. They could do even better and adopt a child that needs parents.
Contrasting with Ton's dad, we have Chon's mom. I love her and there's nothing we can discuss about this queen that stick with her son.
Ton's sister and brother-in-law had one of the most interesting plots on the series and it's a shame we didn't see them as much as I wished to. Na is our true hero and I wish him the best, i still can't believe people were so heartless with his feelings and asked him to help chon and ton get together.
Miriam is not in the novel but I'm happy she was in the series. Toptap and Mike were there to give us some fanservice let's be honest lol. Although, i still enjoyed them a lot and I think the characters suited them well.
But now I want to talk about Amp. Ok she was there to be the bad character and we understand that. BUT the way she was treated at the end? Please, let's grow up. We WON'T do a thing to the world while we fight intolerance with intolerance and I won't get tired of saying that. I wish they do better in the future with characters like that.
The OST was great, the plot was not revolutionary, the actors did their job well (it's not their fault what they had to portray) and I had some good time watching it. I was mad, i laughed, i questioned myself and the plot's taste a lot also. I'm glad GMMTV is at least trying to do something without relying on our holy trinity (now + brightwin lol) and I'm also glad Pod and Khao were paired as the main couple.
I won't say I'm gonna watch this series again but I also won't say that watching tonhoncholatee was a waste of time. Not for me at least. If you are unsure on watching it or not just give it a try and drop it if you don't like. Simple as that.
