I actually really appreciated how they retold the whole story. While I feel that some scenes were a little too similar, and they used quite a lot of time on the retelling, I really felt that this version was in a sense, much better. Tin and Can's characters were soo much more fleshed out, especially Can, and their relationship was more genuine and heartfelt. I could really feel their emotions, and even though some scenes were kind of the same, they were retold in a way that just felt more natural and true to the whole story and their relationship. They really delved in deep and I just really appreciated the whole dynamic of their relationship. Communication was not a big problem, and I felt that TinCan's relationship in this is so much healthier and so much more real.
This season really shows how Tin fell for Can, and how much more emotionally invested he was. while we could see some of that in the first season, I felt that it was a little fake/forced the first season where Tin did not have much of a reason to start chasing Can and its a little hard to see when he started falling for Can as a person and not just because Can believed him. It just felt that the emotions were not really there the last season after comparing to this season where it was much more natural and real. Note, this is just when comparing. when I watched the first season, I fell so hard for them and I was really taken in by their story and it was by no means bad, it was amazing. I just felt like it was done better here, at least for me.
Something I didn't quite like was the whole storyline with the family. While I can see and understand why it was explored further, I felt that too much time was spent on it and it didn't really give me that much satisfaction. Kengkla and Techno's storyline was another I felt super uncomfortable with, and I reallyreally didn't like how it developed. However, I felt that Tum and Tar's story was done really nicely. and although it is really sad not being able to see Pete in this season, I felt that Perth's acting was simply amazing as always, and the crew did the best they could under such circumstances. (although some plot points from the book (regarding AePete) was missing so some stuff didn't make sense, and will leave people a little confused).
