'Someday Or One Day' is probably the best time traveling drama I've seen so far
opinions on dramas will always be based on preferences and it just so happens that Someday Or One Day has ticked on every single aspect that i love and am looking for in a drama.storywise, its very unique. its a very different approach to the typical concept of time traveling. the pacing is perfect, not too slow or draggy nor did it felt too quick or rushed. plotholes were practically non-existent in this drama, you can clearly see the years of hard work they've put into making the script alone.
the actors did really well portraying their characters. both main leads were amazing on their parts, and kudos to alice ke as she did a very amazing performance as 2 different characters. it really showcased everyones acting ability really well.
i love the music, i tend to skip osts as i want to get myself into watching the drama asap. but it was different for this one. every single song is something to remember really.
i rarely rewatch anything, but i can actually see myself rewatching this in the future. its really something else.
how much do i recommend it exactly ? , A LOT, its just that good ... tho i do understand if the story is not too everyones likings, im not going to force my opinions on anyone ,, but to anyone who gave up on it just because of how meh the first 2 eps were, im telling you to not drop it just yet. watch atleast upto ep 5 and make your decision there. the story may be confusing but it unfolds itself as the episodes progress, the cliffhangers and mystery will make you want to watch it even more.

breaking cdrama stereotypes
i will put descriptions to why i put that as a title for this essay. please bare with this review's lenght.storywise, its your average highschool storyline + that certain oddity, that twist(?) or the something special to the story. the oddity being a love polygon between 2 guy bestfriends and 2 non biological and yet sisters.
its rather simple, but the further it progressed, it's much more than a highschool love story , it approached the topic of family realistically and I think that's one of the things I loved most about it. It wasn't just about romance as other highschool dramas are about. ( tho to be fair i haven't exactly watched every highschool cdrama out there , but i have watched the most famous ones )
it's one of the few cdramas that actually broke that 'ML stereotype'. tho they did base the ML from the typical handsome and smart character, he did have a lot more of charms to show other than those basic qualities. he's probably the best character to come out in the whole drama. Ryan Ding did an exceptional performance with his role.
I could say the same to the other actors actually, they did well on portraying their characters. the FL's characteristics was also based from the usual dumb, unlucky and clumsy. kinda annoying sometimes but what makes her differ from other highschool cdrama FL's, is her character development. she may have acted questionably from most of the first parts, but later on she learns from her mistakes which makes her a great character design imo.
there's nothing much about the music , as it didn't exactly stick to me.
will i rewatch it if ever ? yes I can see myself watch some episodes again, mostly for Ryan Ding that is lol.
how much do I recommend it exactly? well ... I wouldn't recommend it entirely. you see, although I do loved this drama so much it did had a lot of shortcomings.
the thing I didn't like most was the ending. it was rushed, I would've been satisfied if it had more context to a lot of things that happened , if things had a proper closure to them.
like maybe give out a couple more context to what happened to the FL during ML's time overseas ? when and how exactly did the ML start to have feelings for the FL ? things like that. but then again it was still an enjoyable watch imo
