A New Standard
Bad Buddy might have a rather cliche plot, but it was executed very well, from the acting to the aesthetic shots. I usually don't mind cliche plotlines, as long as it is done well, and this show is a good example of that. I like how they also diverted from usual plotlines and actually showcased a healthy relationship with good communication and understanding of their partners. I think that this is quite rare to see in any genre of drama, where there are forced kisses or pulling of their partners that is meant to be seen as a romantic gesture. So I'm glad that Bad Buddy really showed all signs of a healthy relationship.First of all, the acting was really good, from the entire cast, not just the leads. Of course Nanon and Ohm delivered, they made me laugh and cry with their natural acting and great chemistry. But the rest of the cast delivered as well, most notably Jimmy. Though his character was kind of a douche, Jimmy's acting was great and I was genuinely pissed off at him for like a week until the next episode came out. But yes, the acting is great in this show, not just amongst BL dramas, but in general. The actors really immersed into their roles and delivered.
I really liked the music, especially Just Friend, but I'm really strict with music so I gave it an 8. But still really nice songs in general.
In conclusion, Bad Buddy has a plot that many of us have watched before, but it pushes the boundaries in terms of its portrayal of a healthy relationship and addressing issues with certain problematic cliches and storylines. If you are watching it, get ready to go on an emotional rollercoaster. The good thing is that with the entire series out now, you don't have to cry an entire week before the next episode makes you feel better.

Sad, but should definitely watch
I watched this season after the first one, cause I thought it was cute. Nope, I literally cried every episode. It is more mature and darker than the first season, and we definitely got to see more of how their relationship developed after leaving school. There were quite a few moments that were quite heartbreaking which was very different from the first version, but I felt that it was very in tune with the fact they were adults and no longer as young and naive as they used to be.The acting, like the first season, was good and all the actors managed to convinced me of the emotions and convictions in each scene. Of course it wasn't totally perfect, hence my rating. I really like the music in general, maybe personal preference, but I also liked the way it fit into certain scenes. I would love to rewatch it, but because it's kinda sad I will have to collect myself before watching it again.
But yes, you should definitely watch it. It's sweet, sad, kind of funny at times and quite well done overall.

Definitely A Must Watch
Every episode is interesting and makes you want to keep watching. The storyline was quite good, it was more realistic and less fantastical. Of course it's not super realistic as it is still drama after all. I appreciated that there were not that many cliches in the show like team members fighting over the female lead or like the really mean male lead suddenly liking the female lead and she accepts his bad personality just because he shows her a little care. I really loved the entire cast and it was great to see the relationships between all of them, not just the two leads. Of course the chemistry between the two leads was also great and would love to see them in another drama together.Overall the show was quite light-hearted, with a few serious moments, and it is a definite must watch. Just make sure you have time to binge the whole thing because it is quite addictive.

I Think It Could Be Good
I just started watching it, and I think it has potential. I really like the two main leads, and think they have great chemistry. Force has great expressions that really make his delivery of the lines impactful, Book's expressions aren't as exaggerated, but I can see the intentions of the character through his acting. I think the chemistry between them is great. Oh and I really love the actresses who play Akk's sisters, they are so funny and adorable. The story line is definitely interesting, but I can't imagine them putting Theo with anyone else but Akk, or else I'll be really upset. I'm interested to see how they will handle the discourse of Akk and Enchante as Theo's potential romantic partners. I think it could be great if they handle this well.
So far I think the show has potential, but I'll have to wait and see if it will be great.
