Why am I still watching this?! (review after 30 eps) + Add-on: NOPE I AM OUT (after 34 eps)
This whole drama is a mess!We have family overlaps and ties, way too many "coincidences" that only make things worse, and anger management issues as far as you can see. Not to mention gaslighting, intrigue, lies, stealing, deceit and emotional abuse.
I really liked the story about our two main characters and I still think the basic idea is good, but it's just too much of everthing. It feels like the writers tried to cram every cliché and development that a drama could possibly have into this very drama.
Do we have the "I-can't-love-you-I'm-from-another-world"? Yes.
Do we have the "beeing-left-with-baby"? Yes.
Do we have the "gave-away-the-child-for-adoption-but-now-wants-to-be-near-them"? Yes.
Do we have "lost-memories-because-of-xyz"? Yes
Do we have "I sacrificed myself for you but you don't see me"? Yes.... and I could go on like this for quite a while.
It feels like there are 6 or 7 storylines, which are happening parallel and at the same time only to overlap at the end or in between, to be merged and separated again. At some points you can already see certain plots coming and it's nothing new.
The longer I watch it, the more I realize how selfcentert most of the characters are and how they all twist each others words. I wouldn't mind it that much if it hasn't been like this for 28 episodes and there's absolutely no prospect of character development in sight for any of them.
I think the only reason I'm still watching the whole thing is because of our gentleman's children. The children are portrayed very nice and they are a refreshing sight in all the chaos mentioned above. I like the fact that the children aren't just mentioned randomly and run into the picture here and there, but that they are quite the main characters and actively belong in this story.
In general, this drama is currently more exhausting than relaxing and there is no improvement in sight. Very often I fast forward and skip things because I don't want to see certain plots or characters anymore. I don't know if I'll keep watching it when I reach the current latest episode (33).
Add-on: NOPE I AM OUT! I saw pits and pieces from the next few episodes here and there and nope, I can`t take this anymore. I don´t care how cute or wholesome Dandan and the CEO are and how fluffy they are with the kids and beeing happy familie and stuff when I KNOW that shit will hit the fan again eventually. No more crying and backstabbing and locking people up or telling them who they can love and who not. NO. This drama make me mad and not happy. Even Meteor Garden (Chinese Drama, 2018) with 50 episodes did a better jop. That Series was at least fun to watch and I could laugh about the overly damatic stuff exactly because it was so over the top.
I don´t know if this drama here wanted to do the same thing or not, but if they tried they miserably failed. Most of the time it is just painful to watch, so I am dropping this one after sitting and skipping through 34 episodes or- to put it another way- 39,7 hours of madness.

I am in love
This is my first BL for 2023 which I absolutely fell in love with and I'm sad it's over now.The story is about first love and what someone will do to make the other party happy.
In addition to the first love, it is also about the friendship of our 5 main characters. How they overcome difficulties together, argue and make up again and help and be there for each other.
This series is a safe one with no red flags.
The chemistry of the actors is wonderful and fun to watch. The side pairs disappoint just as little.
In every new episode I just sat in front of my laptop and was happy about the cuteness of the couples. It definitely won't be boring.

All in all it is a good and solid series.
It left me sitting here with a soft and happy feeling.I had no expectations of this one when I started, but now I'm glad I saw it.
It's short, the actors do a great job of bringing the character to life, and the soundtrack fits. There is no drama and the love story between the leads unfolds at a steady and healthy pace.
Perhaps one shouldn't follow the example of how much alcohol is drunk in the series, but I can very well empathize with the enthusiasm and passion that Han Ji Yu has for food.
Director Kim Jin Yeol made his debut this year (2023) with 'Individual Circumstances' ( a BL, go watch it if u liked "All the liqours").
"All the Liquors" is his second work and I personally find it entertaining as well.
If you compare the two series, you realize that they have similar imagery and they also feel similar when while watching. Whether that's good or bad is in the eye of the beholder.
Back to "All the Liquors": All in all it is a good and solid series to watch in between or just don't know what to watch next. I had fun watching it and I will definitely recommend it to other people.

So far one of my absolute favorites in 2023
A beautiful and very well done series that doesn't necessarily follow the standard recipe of an BL. The characters all have their faults and quirks, no one is perfect and not everything is just happy fluffy clouds and stuff. We accompany the characters as they struggle through life, develop, fall in and out of love, overcome hartships and finding their ways in live.
In addition, the cast is absolutely on point. Earth and Mix in the leading roles, Forth & Gemini and Khao & First in the side couples. If you not already like the couple of Earth and Mix, you will fall in love with the couple played by Gem and Forth at latest.

What a good drama!!!
This drama keeps a good balance of seriousness and humor, which makes it a absolut blast to watch it.The intrigues, lies and back and forth between the individual royal families is very dramatic. But nontheless the series always gives us new moments to laugh.
There's beautiful character development and they're all pretty smart, which makes it very enjoyable to watch.
Writing without any spoilers, is very hart for this one because I just want to tell you what happend and all my favorits moments. But I am not gonna do that because that takes all the fun out of this one. I can just really recomment watching it.
This drama concludes with ~23h of heartfelt, funny and thrilling watchtime which I binge-watched in less that 2 weeks and that alone speaks for itself - at least in my case.
