Slow burn at it's finest

If you don't like SLOW BURN, this title is not for you.
This show depicts what can really happen in REAL relationships. And a lot of people don't want that in a show. They want rainbows and cute. This is not that show. This is raw and complicated. It's got relationships that evolve in drastically different ways.

I waited years for this. Was it perfect? No. Is any show perfect? No.

I've been watching bl for a long time, and the efforts put in by the cast are evident.

The plot follows the novel "hemp rope" if you haven't read it, please do.
SPOILERS FROM HERE:

Win and Team start out as FWB, which leads to a situationship. Feelings were never supposed to happen. They both suffer from losses and traumas of different kinds, leading them to irrational fears. Their back and forth and anxiety were spot on to what my husband and I went through. (TMI, sorry)
Bee and prince (not in the novel) were a good reminder that actors have lives outside of their work.
Pruek and Manaow have virtually nothing standing in their way.
Waan and Tul are complicated bc what starts as friends ends in secrets and misunderstandings.

Between Us, despite the ups and downs with production, the acting is incredible. The plot has holes, but not big enough to care.

The actors:
Boun and Prem put their everything into this show, and it's evident. Boun suffered inner ear injuries, and Prem hurt his back.

Am I biased? Probably, but I can say I connected with the characters deeply.
