So much in here!!!

First I must say WOW JUST WOW The acting by Krist and Aye in this episode was amazing. There was so much in this episode worthy of discussion. My only contention point was when he first snapped back to current day he was able to walk out on stage and know the lyrics to the song he was singing. but they showed how that was possible much easier moving on so no biggie. Also poor Pear. Like we all feel a little bad for Pisaeng but at least he's free to live as him. Pear is once again getting the short end of the stick.

Solid start

I actually really like it. Not much happened yet. This is def a groundwork episode but it's good and cute. Gives Our Dating Sim vibes but less running away. Also seems like the leads will have good chemistry and i'm excited for it.

trauma and fluff

Ren’s story is heartbreaking that poor baby I’m so glad Kazuma is willing to just take care of him how ever he will allow and wants. I do need Ren to tell him the whole story so that this doesn’t blow up in their faces

Interesting but feels exploitative

I will preface this by saying these types of reality tv is not my thing in general so I am already biased to not enjoy it. The first story they chose felt like it was placed there for shock value. Once i got past that I will say that though i don't like a game based on lying I do think this is similar to games like 2 lies and a truth and other card games I have played and enjoyed as they are harmless. However this story/topic felt intentionally exploitative and possibly harmful for the contestants and their viewers. Hopefully they won't all be like this and I appreciate the attempt to talk through and understand why things happened at the end of the episode (being purposefully vague to avoid spoilers). Overall if you like the manipulation of things like Survivor and Big Brother than you might like this show. I'm interested to see how the game continues since they tell whose story it is at the end they lose their way of earning points outside of the mini games so i'm confused on how the rules let them continue on....oh well that's future me's problem.

Has the possiblity of being great but currently confusing

A lot was happening in this first episode. I know that a lot of this is laying foundation work for the story, but i felt like I was getting jerked around between the changes in location or timelines that I didn't feel the emersion just the confusion. I will of course keep going since i'm sure everything will make more sense with more episodes but this first one was rough for me.

I think this is where the decline begins

The whiplash i get from Hai Qing's emotional responses in this is awful. Also, unless they are using grandpa's passing as a sign of everyone leaving Hai Qing alone at the worst time furthering his spiral into depression, why even put that whole subplot in the story for the first 4 episodes? Unnecessary trauma trigger there at least let grandpa last half the show so we are also heartbroken when he goes, not just stuck here watching awful crying over a human we barely saw.

Fantastic start

Could not have started this series better outside of having more of the 2nd couple/characters. The Payu/Rain interactions were perfection.
