Are all of us losers?
The storyline finished showing us that a person that is unable to fit in a society gets a mark, a brand. This brand will pursue this person all her life and so, parents are, according to the storyline, impelled to conduct her children through the right track. What if this person does not fit the brand given? As per my experience in life, a lot of people gets an early brand in her life and this brand is simple to outline: if you make what your parents expect, you lose your soul; if you make what you want, society brands you as a loser. The storyline in this drama explained it in a beautiful and romantic way but at the same time all characters showed their weaknesses, acquired from birth or impelled later by society. As a subplot it is importan to mention the easeness with which some child and teen molesters live. The man who plays this part represents excellently the way in which many of them escape the society's punishment. He does not allow the teen expression, he sells an image of a victim instead of the molester he really is and he even commits a bigger crime to hide his sins (using this word legally not religiously). And a big part of the problem is the society and his male rights orientation as if the males were the only drivers of the wellness.
I loved this drama as a multidimensional mirror of many issues in our societies and I think that is a well built work having magic and music making a perfect mixture to avoid the heaviness of the central plot. I cannot avoid mention its shortness, maybe if longer they would not have found the way to save the characters from the real punishment all of them deserved. I believe.

My first two weeks of August 2023
There are soo little Korean dramas that I have had the intention to drop off. Extraordinary you since now occupies the first position. It costed me a kidney and my liver to finish it. I do not understand how it has an 8.4 as qualification. I simply do not understand. It is very repetitive. For all of us it is clear that she, the second FL Dan Oh (because the first FL is not important at all in all of the 32 episodes of the series!!!! Forgive the chakka Ju Da) was in love with a guy but then she has a new love and the new guy is going to help her. Ok, they are coming from a previous experience and it was a bad one, well, writer, give us all the first story and then the second story and I swear to you I understand who killed whom, you do not need to repeat such a scene six times!!!!! And then, at the end, you introduce an interesting character, Soo Hyang, you simply outline and it could have represented a better guide to the whole story. They all come from the previous Trumpet Creeper to this Secret opus but they are not connected at all at any time of the stories. Why???? All the characters are cartoon appearances for an episode not for that many. The chakka of this Kdrama is a cartoonist not a writer. This story could be told in just 4 episodes. 32 are a bunch of nonsense. These first two weeks of this August I will remember them as a wasted time watching this Extraordinary you. Extraordinary me for bearing it and extraordinary them for give such a high evaluation to something that is like a mass where you listen the same things over and over, week after week, year after year and to the infinite and over there...Was this review helpful to you?

Genius' milestone
I enjoyed a lot this drama. I think it is a well built story with some reminiscences that become a reality again. A cycle that is repeating among the professors (who used to be pupils some time before) and current pupils (who will become successful or not in the future as their professors) and as usual, a power figure that benefit only herself and her daughter with her dirty actions. But I found something genial when I arrived at the scenes when using the Bizet's Habanera played with traditional Korean instruments by Windflower to assemble the medley with the pop group The Stupid. It simply blowed my mind out. After that, the story could go to the bin if they wanted, I had already decided I was going to give them the best available qualification. This genius' milestone will be engraved in my brain the rest of my life. Screenwriter and director decided to include this and they have opened for themselves the Paradise to be Boddhisatvas or whatever they want to be. Give yourselves an opportunity and look for this arrangement in the tube or in some place you use to see fragments. If you see the whole series, better, but at least, do no lose the chance to see Bizet's Habanera in this very special versin with Korean traditional instruments. Was this review helpful to you?

Before finishing
A story well told. Two very beautiful young female leads, two handsome male leads. A series where you know you are going to watch twenty bitter chapters with up and downs, no more no less. The characters are defined, unidimensional maybe but well defined. Qualification by many, almost 5000 viewers is 5.8 on average and then I think, maybe I have been watching an edited version and not the one they gave on Korean TV because I do not think it is worst than many 8 I have seen. Someone that has lived the real transmission in 2012 must account to all of us ignorants about what happened. What is the reference that punish this series so much? Some months ago I watch Longing for you, and a reference to the Arabs made that an excellent series was punished to be well down from the 8 and a half that deserves. What was the problem with Fashion King? It is not as it has loose donkeys or something, it is an expected vengeance from an abandoned child to a chaebol who lacks the character to dominate as he must, it is a face to face round among the female leads where both of them are talented, one more than the other. And the satellite characters are credible, the story is all credible, then, what did they do in the last two chapters to take an almost eight or so to 5 dot eight. I am eager to watch it!Was this review helpful to you?

Come on...
First thing the first one: In some places they classified this as a reality show!!! I was enclosed in the COVID and I lost the news about zombies (I love how the Koreans say chombis) working in reality shows in TV programs. Come on whit such a classification. It is closer to a drama than to a simple TV show but I am not that specialist to judge that. However, a drama is a series whose chapters are interconnected and something is happening to characters to change their focus. Spoiler ahead: The punishment to the coward is no less than the best closing to a drama. So and at the end, this is a drama as far as I can see. So in my particular classification, it is the 340th I have watched. And let me tell you something, I enjoyed all the eight chapters a lot. Maybe I am as fool as a fool with a pen, but I really enjoy them. As I was secluded by force in an unfamiliar environment and Netflix was my only escape, Zombieverse was the best to get it. Watch it. Love it or hate it but enjoy it. You are going to have some very good moments for sure.
