I wanted to leave their chemistry for the end because that's what I loved the most!! The quirky, funny scenes, the angsty ones, the lovely ones..... It was all so believable and ugh I loved them together ???
Also, Ri's soldiers were so great too. From the guy who acted all tough and pretended to dislike Se-ri, to the kid who loved kdramas.....
This drama was amazing and yeah, it's my new favorite.

So, I had always heard this drama was a must once you started in the kdrama world and I finally this week I thought ok, why not? (I started watching kdramas in 2018, mind you) and as I was watching the first episodes, I saw people commenting oh this is my 4th or 7th time watching this drama and I thought you have watched the same show over and over that many times??? Well, now after finishing it in three days, and after crying buckets of tears, I can say that I understand why someone would watch this again. The acting is AMAZING. At first I thought it was going to be a very heavy drama so I was very surprised and happy by all the humour in it, the bromance between Goblin and the Grim Reaper it's amazing, I loved it so much. The leads are great... I have my reserves because of the age gap, I like that they kept things innocent while she was young...... but still at times it was weird to watch, specially because of how young the actress would act, the skipping, the voice, and it kind of felt like he was acting like a father at times too. But despite that, I really felt some great chemistry between them. The music was incredible, the song used for the opening has been etched in my heart, seriously. The scenery and photography were lovely, stunning.
I did find the story gripping, contrary to what I have read from some people here.... hence why I finished it in three days. i have to confess I am quite upset by the ending of the leads, I honestly felt that what happened in the second half of the final episode was not necessary......Someone here said it was basically like they started from scratch and I agree. Was the point to break the audience's hearts even more? To teach us a lesson? I don't know, I am honestly upset.... I really don't think it was necessary.
You can tell I have just finished watching it and my tears have barely dried, lol. Would I watch it again? Most likely..... in a long time, though. It was a hell of a ride. Absolutely intense and emotional.
What did you guys think of it???

I have just finished watching this drama. We're all in quarantine and I watched a video of a youtuber talking recommending adult kdramas and she mentioned this one and I thought ok, let's watch it.... and I loved it. Really. The way it handles topics such as gender inequality in the workplace, traditional views on marriage, the roles women are expected to play in today society's still.... It is all dealt with in such a good way. There is a main story, of course, but there are also two other stories that are good too, I have to confess CEO Ma and Si Joo are my faves, hands down. I love how he was such a dork at times but then again he was a good friend and gave good advice being serious when he had too... God, I just loved that character... and Si Joo.... man, what a gem, really. She was all tough, but deep down a softie and she didn't take shit from anyone and was such a hardworker too... Loved, loved. As for Ho Rang and Won Seok....well....I still don't know what to think of the way things worked out for them, to be honest. At times I thought man their relationship is so toxic and then I thought things between them could really work....
Now, as for Ji Hoo and Se Hee...I think their relationship was so good. Always respectful and mature, and they actually had really good communication!! (For the most part, in my opinion) I liked how the relationship evolved and the character development was good too. I find myself torn about the last two episodes of the drama.... I thought they were too wild... but at the same time I can see this happening in real life, what they both did. I guess she thought she needed to do what she did (see me trying to not spoil?? lol) but I wish she hadn't, and thought maybe it was unnecessary.... I wish I could discuss this with someone, lolll. I can say that most of those two last episodes frustrated me. But the overall lessons I love so much... I think I will watch this again and if you haven't already, definitely give it a shot.
