The pettiness is delicious
I actually came across the omnibus version of this randomly on YouTube, a total 2hr 40mins+. It was time well spent.I won't go into the nuts and bolts of the story but it involves time loops a la Groundhog Day and a mystery to be solved.
The ML is perfect in his role of narcissistic, self involved, annoying boss and the FL does justice to her role of long serving and overworked assistant. There are many times I felt like yeeting my phone through the screen at the boss.
The two were hilarious in their interactions and made the run of the mill story fun.
If you like What's Wrong with Secretary Kim or similar stories this will be right up your alley.
I'll definitely give this one a rewatch down the road, especially for the pettiness.

Revenge the way it should be done
I absolutely loved this series. Out of every 20 or so of these Chinese web series you find one diamond in the rough. The theme is usually a poor battered and abused female lead suffering all kinds of mental, physical and emotional torture from the male lead and every Tom, Dick and Harry and then the scumbag ML discovers the FL isn't the bad guy and in the last five minutes he apologizes for his wrong doing (which could be anything from rape, torture, imprisonment, sex trafficking, forced termination of his own offspring, forced blood donations, organ harvesting, causing the FL to miscarry etc) and voila the FL forgives him and they live happily ever after in a land filled with leprechauns, unicorns and multicoloured candyfloss clouds.
As you might guess from the sarcasm above I despise these storylines that seem to glorify abuse of women in general and domestic abuse specifically. I'm usually left wondering if these dramas are representative of how relationships in the country of origin actually go! And I'm terrified to take a drink from anyone... even the barkeeper! The female leads no matter how strong turn to idiots because of what....a magic d***k? I mean I can't think of any other reason a relatively sane person would get back together with someone who's more or less a psychopathic twit. Twit because some floozy tells him the woman he's usually married to did a bad thing and he proceeds to abuse her for years on end without bothering to actually investigate until eons later. Usually he goes through little to no character growth, and rarely acknowledges his sins.
A normal person with an iota of shame upon realizing the magnitude of their f**k up would just leave the other person alone, because some things cannot be forgiven especially the intentional death of a child.
This series did it right. The female lead was brilliant, the male lead was suitably detestable. The revenge plot was well executed and the ending was satisfactory and left me with a good taste in my mouth. All the actors played their roles well.
I'm giving a solid 9/10 solely on the basis that the female lead was not an idiot. Although seriously it is a great series, well worth the rating, and it's just over 3 hours

Candyfloss has nothing on this...
Ohhh...I have cavities! This was all sugar and spice and everything nice! An absolute sugar rush. Think cinematic actualisation of cotton candy and smores! Fluff, fluff and cuteness!I don't usually like series that are this sugary, but the cuteness overload from the CP just killed me! I found myself grinning like a fool every episode.
It's a short binge, 7 25 minute episodes, and is easy viewing. Pretty much zero angst and no psychopathic SLs, demonic parents or third parties, just two cuties falling in love more and more each day.
There was a decent amount of skinship and kissing, as should be expected from a couple in love and in the honeymoon phase. The chemistry between the leads was visible and the attraction was very believable. And they were really cute (and sexy) together.
I'm sure you noticed the overabundance of the word cute in this review? That's just what this series is...cute, fluffy, sugary, adorableness! So if you want something bite-sized and sweet this might be right up your alley

Great little watch
I fell into the rabbit hole of YouTube recommendations and saw this a compilation of all the episodes. Checked out the actors, saw Anson and decided to watch. And I'm happy I did. It was short, sweet and fluffy. The FL was a trip, i especially liked the opening scene ? she was glorious in her wrath.
It wasn't ground breaking in terms of the romance plot but I did enjoy meeting a heroine who didn't let anyone push her around or shut her up. The simpering, lady in distress trope is overdone and tired writing, so I was glad to see a FL who could slay her own dragons but wasn't so closed off that she couldn't accept help when offered.
For what it was, it was a great little watch, I recommend it.

It's cute
I liked it. It's not winning any awards but it is a feel good romp that does come with any drama, love triangles and (much) angst. The chemistry between the MLs was good as it should be considering this isn't their first rodeo together. The acting was okay for what this series was.
Regarding the music there really wasn't any (that I recall) asides from the outro, which had my head bobbing after awhile, but that's not unusual after hearing a tune a couple of times.
Will I rewatch this? Maybe! It's less than two hours of my life and it didn't offend me in the slightest.
As I said at the start it's a cute little feel good series that doesn't task your brain.
