Love on a star!
Surprised at the negative reviews, so guess it’s one of those dramas that you either love or hate.Well I loved it. Thought it was cute and funny. It did get a bit confusing at times but on the whole I enjoyed it. Although t was more or less expecting it to end the way it did I was also slightly disappointed. It was sort of left open as if there might be another series. I liked the music, it was kind of catchy. The FL and Ml played their parts well and I liked that the FL showed she wasn’t going to be bowed to achieve her dreams. Yes, overall it was lighthearted but think that was the intention,, it certainly cheered my days up!

Drink to happiness
What a lovely enjoyable drama. It had laugh out loud humour and pathos that me empathise with the characters so good casting that made it watchable. Who doesn’t recognise the facade that some of us can put on appearing to be happy on the surface when underneath we are hiding what sad lonely lives we lead, hoping that someone or something will come along to fill that void. The ML was quite brutal in how he handled his staff, not something that will bring the best out of somebody, like in life, people’s confidence is gradually worn away. I liked the camaraderie between the other professors, trying to lift the spirits but I’m not sure always drowning your sorrows in alcohol is the answer but it helps sometimes!Okay, the ending was probably predictable and worked out happily for most. Felt sorry for ML’s brother but it was nice to see an unrequited love show his true emotions, so nicely acted there, you don’t usually see that in other Kromance dramas. Also I like actor Ha Seoul-Jin, it was nice to see him in a main role instead of a support role which I’ve ever only seen him in thinking he’s an underrated actor and deserved more.
Really enjoyed the music, especially the intro to each episode, it’s nice and catchy even though I don’t understand Korean as I’m from the UK

Okay if you’re a game lover
I’m from UK and watching a lot of Asian dramas I can see online gaming is big business so it was a bit challenging to write a review. Didn’t like the way it came over that men seem smarter than women, so that was a mark down for me to start with. Found it confusing at times as the online characters seemed the same as the gamers, and having watched my son play online games he seems to pick online characters that he would like to be in real life, so following this story it seemed that the romance was online as well as in reality. Hmm! Confused yeah. The ML I’ve watched before, funnily enough in another gaming story The King’s Avatar and for me the actor Yang Yang has come across to me as one dimensional in both series as cold and arrogant, a trait I hate. No, this wasn’t for me and as some of the characters, especially male, weren’t that likeable so sorry can’t be objective about this, hence my low ratingWas this review helpful to you?

Sleeping beauty?!
I’ve come to this late, finding it on YouTube classed under romance and the year 2020 alongside but see this was released in 2014, so I’m presuming 2020 is the year YouTube covered it to show on their channel. I’ve watched quite a lot of romance movies and series that are Korean, Chinese , Taiwanese and Japanese but I wouldn’t count this film as being very romantic but still enjoyed watching the movie as it had it’s funny moments. Think I can understand the writer’s perspective as society is so judgemental about beauty because everywhere you look the media is always full of beautiful women that a lot of women try to strive for the same look that has caused a lot of body issues for women for nearly 50yrs that I’m daring to suggest. As for this story I personally think the FL was miscast as you could see she was still pretty without any heavy makeup, but apart from that all the actors played their roles well. Thought the ending was a bit strange and no kissing!! For a film advertised as a romance, weird lol. I’m a great believer that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that beauty comes from within a person and as a society we shouldn’t forget that and I think this is what the writer was hopefully, unless I’ve misunderstood, trying to conveyWas this review helpful to you?

Confused!
I watched this on YouTube and found the quality of the filming quite poor at times and several times through the series, there was no sound! Trying to find the reviews and synopsis was very difficult, as on YouTube it was billed as Senior is Clingy and only by accident searching for another cdrama to watch did I happen to see a clip from this series titled Yes! Mr. Fashion. It started off ok but was shocked at the FL age, even before I found about the cast I could see she was very young, and I think for the character she was cast for, needed an older more mature actress for the part especially when it came to the romantic scenes. Age gaps shouldn’t normally be a problem but felt it wasn’t right in this case and it showed. FL was very cute but was over the top in her gaiety for the role, think this is where the actress’s age became apparent. It became rather irksome after a while. She’s a beautiful girl so hope she comes back to acting with a bit more experience. Rest of cast played their parts well, but found some scenes a bit of a shambles. ML and his friend at times, to me, came across as a bromance! They had some funny scenes though. I have a son who suffers from chronic depression and the way it was portrayed in this, sadly not correctly portrayed.
Found the ending really confusing. Was it trying to be funny? Think they should take tips from the KDramas on that one, which I love to bits. Some Chinese dramas are really good, but go on far too long .
What I really enjoyed in this was the music, it really got to my heart, and was beautifully sung

Hooked
Although only briefly into voice 2, am enjoying it as much as voice 1. Both the male leads in each voice 1 & 2 I really enjoy watching as I rate them as very good actors. The killer in voice 2 I wouldn’t say is as creepy as the killer in voice 1 but gives you the chills as to how he targets his victims with such well thought out meticulous precision. Yes definitely psychopathic tendencies there which makes it interesting for me as can’t wait to see how this developed especially when his, presuming here having not seen all the series yet, that his mother is dead but still conversing with her. Also, being as the detective Do is being nick named psycho or nut job, brings to mind the saying ‘it takes one to know one’ . Maybe the writer was thinking this when bringing this character into the story as he’s cold and a loner, so that’s intriguing too as to what makes a person that way. Before seeing the Korean voice 1 & 2, I watched the Thai Voice which was very good. Now the killer in that series I found more creepy and horrifying than the characters in the kdrama pictured so far! Looking forward to series 3 and 4 (Korea) to see how the stories develop. Was this review helpful to you?
