An easy watch with lots of references for Danmei lovers

I'm actually very impressed. They lack the resources to have real loocking sets and the cgi is very simple (but I come from Guardian my beloved, so anything is better than that). But the acting and the story is quite good!
I like how the production is self aware and they even make jokes about it (the guy in the tournament being "ok there's nothing more to see here go home" is so funny lol).
Considering it's a mini drama with very short episodes, the pacing is quite good.

Also I LOVE how not only the story is a collage of famous Danmei, but also the shots they choose to make (the cliff scene omg lol), lines and common tropes.
Like others have said, it feels like the white brand of Scum Villain with a bit of 2HA, then they add some winks/references or homages from The Untamed and Word of Honor. It's a collage of danmei! And even if it's cheaply made, you can feel it's a production made with love.

Definetely an easy watch for a cozy afternoon and having a fun time putting in use all of your danmei knowledge trying to get all the references.
