Gaya Sa Pelikula: When we repress our true selves.
Ufff! This series hit me right in the heart with its ending. I didn't expect it but I felt "something" in me that sensed that ending ... I'm getting ahead of myself.A series that I really liked. You can see the chemistry between the main actors (Paolo & Ian) and although I don't know much about acting, as a spectator they fulfilled the task in their roles. I identified with Vlad and Karl. I understood the conflicts of its characters I understood the ending. I didn't like it but I understood why. As a foreign spectator, the movie posters caught my attention and I immediately realized that they are recreations of posters of famous Philippine movies and I was able to identify the one from the movie LSS, which pleasantly surprised me. On this side of the pond, the television media also do the same.
Here I stop because I must emphasize the music, and it really is another implicit protagonist within the series. She stratospherically elevated the most relevant scenes of the series, and many tears escaped my eyes ... Bravo!
In short, a great series that knew how to take advantage of its actors, dialogues and with a high production value in the style of large entertainment companies. It is worth seeing again, while the second season arrives.

One Day Pag-ibig: Suicide isn't a Game.
I will only be positive about this BL series because it deals with a serious topic about suicide. Although the production failed in many aspects, I must emphasize that it is not a sexual plot ... I admit that there is some sexual tension in the environment with the two protagonists, but it does refer to when asking for help in a suicide attempt can help save a life. It is a good attempt at an original story, but I repeat that the production must take care of many aspects. In short, an original story in a BL series that could become more.

Boys' Lockdown: A Hidden Gem!
Boys' Lockdown made me fall in love with their cute story. Their production stood out ... they shone in everything but they must take care of the video call effect because the editing of the shots was very noticeable. But for the rest, I loved the series. I will not deny that it made me very short and I wanted to see more of Key and Che, but I am very excited because there will be a second season (although with another name) and I hope you continue the story since it ended. Ali King fascinated me and Alec Kevin fell in love with me and together they are a very tender explosion.I repeat: The production stood out a lot, took care of many details and I was happy to see that they emphasized sanitary measures within the series.
The intro: I AM NOT TIRED OF WATCHING IT! She is beautiful, cheerful, funny, sexy, and very eye-catching.
I would give it 10 stars but, due to the failures in the editing of the called videos and the short duration of the series (it could have reached 10 chapters because it had a lot of material to develop the story), I gave it 9 stars.
I really look forward to the second season and in the meantime, I keep discovering gems in the BL pinoy series, because to be honest, I have not been disappointed by the few BL pinoy series that I have seen.
Salamat.
Game!

Gameboys Mades Me to Love Pinoy BL!
I'm new to the community and wanted to start my first review with the series that made me want to watch only BL pinoy series: Gameboys. I have cried, laughed, saddened, hopeful and happy with each of its 13 chapters. I have seen it so many times that I do not get bored of seeing it again.I think this series has accurately addressed how many cope with mandatory quarantine in many countries. And despite the fact that on this side of the pond (I am writing from Venezuela), quarantine is mandatory for everyone, keeping us isolated, escaping isolation thanks to technology. Many young people identify with the series and that is a plus, since when I saw it, I felt a relief and a lot of hope, because I knew that all is not lost by this "new normal".
Sue Prado is spectacular as Cairo's mother. She is what a mother is expected to be. I always shed a tear when she breaks the news of her husband's passing, or when she makes her son understand that he must strive to fight and keep Gavreel's love, and I love her even more when she gives him a week to be with Gavreel, and don't move to Bukidnon. But let's face it, the weight of the series falls on Elijah Canlas, who acts spectacular! For something, his role in "Kalel, 15" earned him an international award (And I had to see this movie to understand why this young man is a rising actor and with good reason), and a lot of recognition in the scenic field.
For this and many reasons (I don't want to saturate the space), Gameboys was a fresh and revitalizing proposal, which has set a guide for other producers to make BL series, and that is why now I am more interested in seeing this genre made in the Philippines than those made in Thailand, South Korea or Japan. As I count the days to the premiere of the film and the second season, and I watch other Pinoy BL series to discover new gems.
