OVERALL Surprisingly good short story. It's only 50-min long, so come on, watch it. THE STORY Cute, fun and just a tad suspenseful, like every romantic drama (or film, because all episodes considered this is not even as long as the usual movie) should be. Granted, the male lead has no defined personality and the female lead is not a character everyone can like. Granted, the little mystery surrounding the girl's past is not completely unpredictable and the love kind of drops out of nowhere. But these are things that the short length of Heartbeat love is to blame for. The interactions between the guy and the girl are fun, the mystery keeps you alert, the landscape is beautiful, the script is well-written, so that by the end, all I could think of was, couldn't they have made it a regular drama? *Sigh* Why do the good things never last? THE ACTING Definitely did the trick. There was some decent chemistry between the leads too. THE MUSIC ...yeah... REWATCHABLE VALUE Pretty high, but since I already know the conclusion of the little intrigue, I'm not sure I would enjoy rewatching it as much unless it's with someone else.
