Light-hearted and comforting
Coffee Melody is light-hearted and comforting. Worth watching if you are looking for something that isn’t too heavy or complicated. However, those who are looking for lots of drama, action and tension will definitely struggle with this. I did feel that it was drawn out too much towards the end and episodes could have been condensed. It was awesome seeing how supportive Duean Yi’s parents were of his career in music and his relationship with Plengrak. Duean Yi standing up for his brothers passion for music was also nice to see. All in all, a nice show that has good chemistry and relationships. Was this review helpful to you?
You must watch this (and you will finish it in one day)!
I loved this series and I found it very relatable, as I am sure many other viewers did. It actually made me reflect on myself personally to work on trying new things outside of my comfort zone. The OST is fun and addictive. Having 5 episodes is perfect, as there is enough in each episode to keep you interested and wanting to keep watching (I often find myself skipping through other series when it feels like is dragging on too much and there are too many episodes). Coming from mostly Thai BL series, I am really impressed and will definitely be on the lookout for more Japanese BL shows in the future. Was this review helpful to you?

I loved this, but the ending was bittersweet!
I really enjoyed Light On Me! I stayed up late most nights as I couldn’t stop watching until I finished it! LOL. The ending however was bittersweet for me. I wished it ended differently!I wish that Tae Kyung and Da On were together in the end.
Considering how thoughtful, encouraging and friendly Da On was of Tae Kyung initially when he was alone and didn’t have many friends, essentially taking him under his wing.
They had a great connection and complimented each other,, so I was a bit disappointed at the end when I found out it wasn’t meant to be.
Am I the only one who feels this way?!
Chan Yi was the stand out in the show for me,
His acting in this show was awesome - he really nailed the role of Da On
Regardless, I will be coming back to watch this again soon as it is definitely worthy of a rewatch!
