This show gave a good glimpse of a life as a soldier. Their personal drama and hardships in life... Their battles to be fought as they rose to rank... Their sacrifices and their triumphs.

They also provided a good drama, brothers torn by war, friendships destroyed by deception, families separated by beliefs.

At first, it's really intimidating to watch the show. Lots of good actors with lots and lots of episodes. It started good and slow, building the foundation of a soldiers life. A bit boring I almost dropped the show. If you're looking for a happy ending for the main characters, this is not for you. What the show had is a good ending, a bit rushed but still a good one.
