Phenomenal

I went into this show with my expectations below ground and holy hell I was taken aback by this show in such an unexpectedly good way.

The production, story, cast, acting, etc. blew me away. Right from the start of episode 1, the creep factor was so high and this show is a prime example of proving you don't need over-the-top gore, special effects, or jumpscares to make something scary. True to its meaning of "People are hell" !!!!

One thing I want to praise the most, despite being said already, is the actors of Jung Woo and Seo Moonjo. They took their role and OWNED IT. Lee Dongwook and Yim Si-Wan killed it (pun intended).

This is a good watch for anyone who wants to experience a psychological horror mindfuck that will keep you glued to the screen.

Not too bad but could have been better

From other reviews I've seen, they said this movie was bad enough to skip, but I gave it a shot. I really like the start in which it was giving upbeat vibes and showing how much the phone is truly relied upon for everything. I really like the first-person perspective, showing only the phone from Na Mi's eyes.

The action could have been better though. The mystery and chase is not as fun when you know who the assailant is. Im Si-wan is a phenomenal actor, so I wish they gave him more time to shine. The whole cast did pretty good though.

Na Mi frustrated me though because she had so many opportunities to fight "Jun-yeong" and even he said so lol.

I don't think this movie was terrible. I think it just needs things added and worked upon.

Not bad but not good

Usually I am okay with toxic relationships for the purpose of a story, but Segasaki aggravated me a lot. You know the actors did well when you really hate the character they play. Segasaki never redeems himself in any type of way and when he is meant to be seen as a better person, it misses because he never actually proves anything. Yoh seems desperate for a man who really just wants to own him and shows little regard for his feelings. I did really enjoy Yoh's friend, the girl and her husband. Also, am I the only one who thinks Yoh should have been more mad about the fact HE PUT A TRACKER IN HIS BAG? TO FOLLOW HIM TO HIS FRIENDS HOUSE WHEN HE WANTED TO BE AWAY? No one said a thing and all Yoh did was return the tracker? Insane.

Not Bad but not amazing

To be honest, some parts at first I skipped around because it seemed to be a bit slow, but I did find a lot of the side characters to be fun. Shao Fei is a cutie and I love him, but he aggravated me a LOT with unnecessary jealousy. He could be very unreasonable, but I with him and Tang-Yi together anyway.

Super cute and quick

I never really got into these fluffy romance-focused plots, but I thought the concept was super cute. I hate when there are a lot of misunderstandings or one-episode break-ups that drag on forever, but this show didn't overdo it, so I really enjoyed being able to watch a show without feeling the need to curb stomp one of the ML's. I also really appreciate the fact that, since Ji Ho was mentioned as a player and had a female friend, the show didn't use that to fuel jealousy plots, because I really hate those.

For anyone wanting a super cute quick watch to just giggle and kick your feet, over how sticky and cute the pair is, this is perfect!

Must Watch

I never usually try to sit through long murder mystery plots, but I was so intrigued by this plot. First and foremost, the entire cast did a phenomenal job, especially our main pair. It's been a while since I've had an ML who comes off so genuine and disgustingly adorable (positive <3) without being overbearing or toxic to the main character and ACTUALLY APOLOGIZING for lying and other things (AND ACTUALLY HAVING A GOOD REASON TO LIE SOMETIMES). They are so whipped for each other, and the side characters are also amazing, even the antagonists. The plot had so many twists and I actually couldn't see the murderer's identity from the beginning, even though when the pieces were dropped it all made sense, but that's how a good mystery should be. It shouldn't be easy to solve, but not too hard for the audience to understand.

I binged this whole show in one night and I wish I had taken time because I'm so sad it's over (I did hear about a rumored sequel though). I do wish we got more fluffy and spicy moments with our main pair, but this is a murder mystery, and they do get chased quite a bit, so I understand, in terms of the story, that they can't have a damn moment to themselves.

Overall, I loved the story and the ending so, so much. I had low expectations, but I was pleased to see how invested I had gotten. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOW only if you can handle some darker story elements though! There is a lot of SA present in the plot so be warned!

Highly recommended!!

There are a lot of things I loved about this show and a few that I didn't like, but not enough to make me hate the show. I LOVE BOTH MAIN CHARACTERS despite the fact that with a little communication some of their issues wouldn't be a big deal. But that's the case with a lot of dramas. They like to pan it out a bit. However, I really love their chemistry, and they are actually super sweet to each other when they push their misunderstandings aside and actually tell each other how they feel. I was giggling and kicking my feet a lot. As for the side pairings...well... I liked them enough. Vegas and Pete were more interesting, and I didn’t really enjoy Porchay and Kim as much as the other 2 pairings, but I could see the vision ig. There was a lot to be desired in that regard and the cliffhanging didn't really help them either, since we wouldn't likely be getting s2. There are a lot of plot holes and I wouldn't get invested if you couldn't handle that, since again, we, likely will not get s2, so It's good to pretend the ending is just the real ending for now.

Overall, I highly recommend, ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE THE SPICY BL'S. Lots of nice moments between the pairs ;)
