"There is no better time than now. That next time may never come. To talk about a next time that may never come when now is right in front of you. Life is too short for that. If you give up now because you feel too weak or lazy, there is no hope for a next time." - Reply 1997
About 7 years ago a friend of mine introduced me to manga. Through manga I discovered anime. Through anime I fell in love with some of the opening themes, and found myself looking up artists of songs I liked. This led to my discovery of Jpop. Around the same time I found my first drama, Hana Kimi (Japan - 2007). It sparked my interest to watch more (Hana Yori Dango was my second drama). Eventually I branched out to Taiwanese, Korean, Chinese and Thai dramas. I've even watched a few Bollywood movies (:
First Japanese Drama: Hana Kimi (2007)
First Japanese Movie: I think it was Death Note
First Chinese Drama: Startling By Each Step
First Chinese Movie: Mulan
First Hong Kong Drama: N/A
First Hong Kong Movie: Possibly Who Am I? starring Jackie Chan
First Korean Drama: Coffee Prince
First Korean Movie: He Was Cool
First Taiwan Drama: Hana Kimi
First Taiwan Movie: Secret
First Thailand Drama: Phoo Yai Lee Gub Nang Ma
First Thailand Movie: Crazy Little Thing Called Love
I'm always up to meeting new people and making new friends, so send me a friend request (:
I've also joined two fellow MDLers in a blog about asian dramas/music and such. Check us out if you're interested (: We'd appreciate it! :D
