This story starts out looking like it's about a forbidden love, rags to riches, goodness triumphing over evil. You think you know where it's going, you know who to root for, you know what you hope will happen, you just can't wait to watch it all unfold. Then maybe it's a love triangle, maybe you will develop second lead syndrome. That looks promising for a while, and there are some really clever scenes, it looks like people are going to get what they deserve, this is going to be fun... But, honestly... by about episode 35, everyone has acted unreasonably to such an unredeemable extent that you've completely lost track of who you're rooting for. Really, you will feel disgusted with every single character in the story (except the little girl). There are still some mysteries yet to be revealed, to be sure, but you don't care about them any more. You're just watching people walking around on the screen doing and saying random stuff and once in a while being entertaining. You might want to keep watching just so you can move this title from "currently watching" to "completed," but this thing has a whopping 50 episodes, which means that after episode 34 there are still 16 episodes left! That's another 16 hours of sitting in front of this show. And it's pleasant enough, not painful or anything - the actors are good-looking and do a great job in their roles - and I'd certainly finish it if there were nothing else to watch, but since I don't want to have to wait through 16 more hours of this show before starting on any of the really great dramas on my "want to watch" list, I've decided to drop this one.
PS I have no idea whether the music was great or not but apparently I must rate the music, so... 5? I guess? No idea. Don't hate me ;)
