Just the same

I really thought this drama would have a better ending. It is just ok, nothing special.

After so much struggle and pain, Ikuko accepted Hiroji just the way he was and Nana did same about Ichi. It seems like they kinda gave up of communicating with their partners and setting new goals for future and their relationships and decided to stay at the same place just because is easier. They didn't look happy or satisfied, they're just resigned to the fact they're not getting anything better from their respective partners.
Will it be enough for them in future? Won't these women blame their partners afterwards when life issues knock on their doors?

In my opinion, relationship is not about money or status or whatever you got, but you must be happy and proud of the person you are with and both partners must try to find a balance to build such a healthy environment for each other. So, setting goals for the relationship and for one another is an important thing to do.

Hiroji's attitude towards life is not balanced as he helps everybody around him but doesn't make a move to improve his personal life and find a job to build a future with his partner. It is as if he lost his hope in life long ago and Ikuko seems like she wanted more from Hiroji but as she is not getting it, she accepted what he has to offer her as long as she is with him. So did Nana.

Is this such a happy ending?

It is amazing!

This drama is amazing! One of my favorite k-dramas and I highly recommend it to everyone. Everything is perfect about each character. I know that first episodes are not appealing and it is all about the working life, but after you understand each character story, their personal struggles and pain, you just can't stop watching this. It is a masterpiece! And I love the entire OST!

A resilient love

This series was beautifully shot. From the scenery, locations, photography, acting, to the OST... everything was perfect!
Though it is a delicate theme, everything was carefully shown and they respected the fact that one of the main characters was under age. They didn't cross the line.
This J-drama has one of the most beautiful OST's I've ever heard in my entire life. The piano songs played by Akira Kosemura made me emotional and I still listen to them often! I was delighted by the quality of this drama. There's a lot of sadness and pain and beautiful scenes and you see how powerful and resilient love can be. It is perfection!
It surely deserves a higher rating.

A piece of art.

This is my favorite K-drama because it is perfect in all senses: acting, OST, story, characters..... I cried so many times watching this series. It is a hidden gemstone.
Main actors, IU and the amazing late actor Lee Sun Kyun (R.I.P), shone and showed they were perfect for their roles. Each one of the supporting actors made many positive contributions with their side stories to the growth and development of the drama and in the end, you fall in love with all of them, as a whole big family full of love and emotional support.
The OST made me dive into the story even deeper. It is so touching! And after LSK death, it all makes even more sense to me.

It is a masterpiece that everyone into emotional dramas should watch. You won't regret about it! 10/10

Tokyo Tower won't suit every taste...

When I first read about Tokyo Tower story I wanted to watch the drama because I love this kind of noona romance.
I liked all characters and their developments and I couldn't wait for the next episode. Each character learned from pain and it was worth to watch their changes for better.

Ren Nagase was perfect for his role and the pain in his eyes for Shifumi was so intense I could feel it. I loved his character development! Watching Genta Matsuda and Megumi's performances was amazing!
Though I think last episode was a bit inconclusive and couples deserved a better ending, I still like much about this drama, including the beautiful song played in the last minutes of each episode sung by Ren Nagase and Kaito Takahashi (Halfmoon - King & Prince).

I know this drama is controversial and messy and it is sad in many ways but I like it.

A masterpiece.

This drama is a masterpiece! Park Ji Hoon/Choi Hyun Wook/ Hong Kyung were amazing in this series. I was so happy to see Yeon Shin Eun smile with his friends after all he went through! It is all about friendship and the bond they had with each other. Everybody should watch it. OST is also amazing. The opening of this drama slays! Can't wait for the 2nd season! 10/10

Perfection!

Jung Hae In's performance is top-notch but Koo Kyo Hwan is GOAT. His comic scenes are amazing! This series is sad and dark in many moments but they kinda balanced with the comic scenes of Han Ho Yul x Ahn Joo Hoo, making it an incredible subtle bromance. They both have amazing chemistry. What a supporting cast! Some actors are also in "Weak Hero Class 1". Son Suk Ku character was so perfect that made me to dislike him most of his scenes. Can't forget the amazing OST and opening theme. Perfection! 10/10
