I ranked all the K-dramas I have seen in numerical order from my most favorite to my least favorite.  Then, I converted their rankings into a star rating based on their positions in the list. Therefore, the star rating is more based on my personal preference rather than whether the drama was objectively good (except for the ones rated 1 star...those are just horrible).

• 9 stars and up: Ultimate favorites
• 7 stars and up: Very enjoyable
• 6 stars and up: Would recommend
• 4 stars and up: Enjoyable enough for a watch
• 3.5 stars and down: Probably a waste of time
• 2.5 stars and down: Not enjoyable
• 1.5 stars and down: Terrible
