So confused
Why was Gun in this? What is happening?
Why?
Who is that guy?
You know what, I give up.
I'm curious how much the budget was, $50?
A bunch of horny people in a crappy building with some blood mixed in.
Really, Gun, what were your thoughts when you accepted this role my guy?
I still love you though.
Playboy had a great butt. IDK that's all I can tell you.
Why does anyone watch this? Why did I watch this?
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Fun, cute couple, missing something
I like the idea behind this, enemies to lovers, Romeo and Juliet type. I liked the chemistry between our characters a lot. The friend groups felt real and both were very supportive and caring for each other. I loved that they lived across from each other and how cheeky Pat was. Pran was also super adorable!!I did get stuck at episode 10, for some reason I just decided to stop watching and walk away for like two weeks. I guess since I knew they were together and their parents problems bored me.
I guess I just wanted more conflict and secret moments between the two. I really didn't like how the friends just accepted it right away pretty much. Even one friend put up a little stubborn fight but not much. Why was it SUCH a dilemma if it actually wasn't going to be a problem at all?
The last episode is such a cheap trick, it made no sense. And why pretend to breakup? Tell them all to F off and live your own life. I'm just going to pretend this ended differently because that was so dumb. I can see pretending with their families but their friends? That's just too much work. It kind of made this whole show pointless, the whole telling everyone just to hide it again. Gah really this last episode is just so disappointing.
Overall a fun watch, I'm glad I watched it but it was missing something I can't quite put my finger on.

Ignore that low rating, it's 10/10!
If you watch this for nothing else, watch it for the final episode. Although... it's flipping amazing anyways. How do people rate this so low?! Was it the homophobia? Because I can see that, although we had people loudly voicing support for LGBTQ+ there was quite a lot of homophobia. That being said, we have dealt with that in other shows and not condemned it for that. And if that isn't the reason, I have no idea what it could be. Was it the pandemic? Was everyone still just angry at the world? I really just don't get it. I mean.... I usually rate shows a little lower than average or about the average. But this was a 10/10 for me.
I flipping loved this show! It was hilarious! It was a great plot, and Chonlatee was everything! The friends were AMAZING! Every character played their role so well! I was laughing so much. I LOVED this friends to lovers trope, I loved the journey, and I routed for Chonlatee the entire time! I loved the differences between our two main characters. I loved how right away Tonhon was treating Chonlatee as if not a day had passed. Their first meeting? Hilarious! Their first sleepover? Hilarious! Everything he did was just so satisfying.
And can we give this series credit for not having Tonhon break up with his girlfriend FOR Chonlatee! He was heartbroken BEFORE he ran into him again (and while heartbroken he ran back to his 'home' if that tells you anything) and then things went from there. That is SO refreshing. Look at Love Mechanics, although I loved that show, I couldn't bare to watch another show where the GF card gets dragged along for far to long!
One of my big issues in this show was Ton and his feelings. When Ton was faced with a truth and suddenly seemed to change so much, it felt unrealistic. Buuuuuuut after everything played out, his reactions made SO much sense! I even want to go rewatch it right after finishing it to see the series in a whole new light!
There is not one thing in this show I disliked, and THAT is very, VERY rare for me.
Oh and let's not forget Na! We love you Neo! and Gunsmile, sad to see you in this role but you did great! Mike, TopTap, a pleasure as always. ALSO this is SUCH a change in character for Khaotung! I saw one episode of Eclipse and him in 2gether and he seemed SO different here. I love him the most in this one but what a versatile actor! And Pod! I actually wasn't a huge fan of him in Dark Blue Kiss but LOVED him in this one! Okay at first I thought he was a bit dense but again, I have to go back and watch the show in a new light to truly see his entire character now!
GMMTV, a pleasure as always.
I have many more thoughts but I have to stop somewhere!!
Okay one more thing! When Ton was apologizing LOL OHMYGOD.
Me:
"HE DID NOT JUST DEHEAD THAT TEDDY BEAR AHAHAHHAHA
THREW THE WHOLE GARBAGE AT HIM HAHAHAH
Oh you're hot? HERES A BUCKET OF WATER AHHAHAHHA
THAT EPISODE KILLLLLED ME! I had to rewatch so many times and started crying I was laughing so hard!!

Chemistry was so OFF
There is A LOT to unpack here.Wen was straight up giving F me eyes the entire show. OOOOO, he better calm down. The entire time we all saw and felt how Wen was feeling. He played his role so well! So it's a shame that the lead couple had next to no chemistry. It was one sided the entire time, even in the small moments Jim showed some wiggle room, or straight up affection. It all felt fake.
Judging this as a BL on the main couple, I'd say this is a 5 rating, and only because HALF the leads were giving it hard. So instead I judged this one as a slice of life drama with a dash of BL romance thrown in. So it gets 7.
I really enjoyed the little drama we had with Alan, Jim, and Wen. It felt like real life, messy, painful, and emotional.
I enjoyed the side characters stories because it made the Chicken restaurant and neighborhood feel so homey.
Li Ming and Heart were EVERYTHING. EVERY.THING!!! They were the sweetest and the best story ever! I could have watched them as the main leads FOREVER. Every moment they had was just heartwarming and perfect.
On the spice meter this gets a 1, the first episode had lots of chemistry and lead up to the spice in a way that a little went a long way. But then the chemistry disappeared never to be seen again.
Alan really got the short end of the stick here and I felt so bad for him! Not only did he get his heartbroken after 5 years but Wen dragged it out by living together. And when he got into a serious accident Wen acted as if it was burdensome to help him. After 5 years and you care that little? Alan had every right to feel heartbroken and awful. Nobody should stay if they don't love them but have some more grace. And that last episode was total BS, 5 years of a relationship and he joins them for dinner? No thank you. But it was cute that everyone did eat together.
Overall I really enjoyed some parts and other parts it was just okay.
I have to admit I am not a huge fan of Earth. I don't know what it is about him but I don't think he suits BL's well. To be fair I've only seen his small bits in Love By Chance and this one but there is just something that bugs me about him. Now I really want to watch another Mix Earth show to see if it's just my bad for choosing the show where he is written as a stale character. I'll be back to report my findings. TO be fair the first and very end of hte last episode gave me a LITTLE hope.
Ending it with everyone eating together was so cute and gave the overall feel of the entire show.
BUT NOW what do I watch? Do I watch First & Khaotung actually get together in Eclipse? Do I try another Earth Mix to see if there IS chemistry? Or do I watch more perfection of Gemini & Fourth?!? Decisions, decisions!

How can people not like this?
I stopped believing bad reviews by now, half the time they are right and the other half I'm rating the low rated show 10 stars.I really enjoyed this one! It was short, cute, and had emotional depth. It showed how confusing dating can be at first, and how daunting first love, first relationships can be.
I loved Takara's stone-faced attitude, when he did smile or show affection it felt like SO much more because most of the time, he looked serious. It was beautiful to see. The intimate moments were great.
Amagi to some may be annoying but I loved his bubbly care free kiddish attitude. I can see how someone would fall for that brand of cute, and I think anyone saying it was to fake or to animated has never met a truly happy carefree person. He is just full of life. Of course he has some emotional healing to do but that doesn't stop him from being a little bouncy ball of joy. Who can hate on that?
Their relationship was interesting to watch and left me feeling satisfied.
Now the only negative thing I have to point out is the first and second episode and a little throughout the show. Sometimes the timeline will flip flop and in the first and second episode it can be a little confusing. I skipped past the scenes in the blue darkish classroom and then went back to watch that scene in the entirety and it made it clearer. There is also one more time where the timeline jumps to the past, where Takara is talking about his interactions with Amagi BEFORE where the first episode begins. This time jump wasn't labeled but it was pretty easy to figure out what was going on.
Overall this one was a great watch.

This will break you
I felt everything he felt. Nobody should have to go through that. Watching how he was before and after was such a shock, even though I have personally been there. This was such a real depiction, and it destroys you when you watch it. I think this was difficult to find online to watch, difficult to watch, but it is important. Shows/movies gloss over these types of topics but showing the REAL feelings behind this, that is such a hard thing to do, but they did it.The only thing negative I have to say about this, was the ending, just pretend the last 5 seconds is a metaphor or something. I'm going to leave it at them just looking at each other and that being it. Because that would make sense, as if they weren't actually both standing there, but looking back at their past.
Now I need to go watch James in Meow Ears Up so my heart can mend for him.

I can't help it that I love dark stories
Seriously, if you don't like dark stories, toxic stories, then just don't watch this. I personally loved this. I loved how messed up their back story was, how it was overcome and how this entire part of their life went. I do think they need to catch a break though, poor guys. A show like this is relatable and tough but for the dark souls out there, it is perfection.I reeeeeally need the origin story in a show form.
I really cared for the characters and every couples story. I enjoyed the suspense of not knowing when and what will be remembered next, if at all. I found myself rewinding many scenes to rewatch.
You HAVE to watch the uncut version to really get everything. The cut version is sugar coated compared to the uncut. I started with 7 cut episodes and realized I hadn't been watching cut so I went back and watched all the scenes I missed.
Also, it may be toxic but two dudes did the wrong thing and ended up in love anyways, so don't be mad that a villain ended up with a villain.

You want perfection, here you are!
I dropped half a star because the director says he will never make a season two, come on guy, don't give up that quickly! With that ending, you're just going to leave us stranded? This would hit HUGE in 2023! Make it happen captain! This was epic, the cast was fantastic. The friendship was perfection! How they collected people, the wall of faces, the feelings it made us feel. We loved the OG 3 and everyone who came along we fell in love with as well. We watched them bond in blood, and it was beautiful. The pacing, the music, the storyline and OH MY GOD Oh Se-hun was absolute PERFECTION! I came for Ahn Bo Hyun but I staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayed for Se-Hun, don't worry Bo Hyun you're still in my tops and I love you! But Se-Hun was smaaaaaaaashing this one!!
Now the ending. Since there won't be a sequel, I suggest choosing your ending. There are two possible places it could have ended, feel free to choose the former to feel completed. The bomb they dropped in the actual ending was to much for my heart.

ACTION ACTION ACTION
I binged this show in ONE DAY! I wouldn't have been able to walk away even if I had needed to! Everything about this show was so bad***! Our lead was so powerful and did such an amazing job! She walked into the devils playground and walked away to tell the tale! It had twists that you'd never expect, moments that you were on the edge of your seat, you were routing for her every step of the way!She was everything!
The ONLY thing I can't stand about the show is the horrible heartbreak it caused. I was devastated. I had to reassure myself this wasn't real and that person was actually okay in real life. I couldn't believe the writers would do that to me! I also respect how epic it happened and the impact it had on me.
I wished it had more episodes but that would have left room for stale episodes. This was perfection!

My heart was so broken
This show starts off with a HUGE bang! Just thinking of that scene makes me want to go rewatch it! What an intro!I really enjoyed this show overall. I loved that it had a small setting with a wide array of characters and personalities all meshing together. I loved routing for some building residents and wishing others would get cast out. I loved how the zombies worked! It was a more relaxed zombie show but it held a great impact.
I loved our lead Park Hyung Sik! He's amazing in this one!!
Okay so there was a little bad with all the good.
The storyline dragged a tad bit but not enough to put me off the show. I also had to suspend belief when it came to how they handled the outbreak. They had just gone through Covid and were aware of Covid in the show, that was minor compared to THIS type of outbreak yet they were not very quick to handle this one. I would think they'd be a bit more prepared and paranoid due to Covid!
Overall 100% worth the watch. It had a moment that totally wrecked my heart but the ending was VERY satisfying.

Perfection - just ignore the very, very last tiny bit of the ending.
This was amazing. One of the VERY BEST short dramas! The ML was sooo nice to look at haha, but he also played his role SO WELL. He didn't just fall for the girl, he was also adorable and funny along the way. But not in a way that you can't take him seriously when you should.
The chemistry was fantastic! Both leads did an amazing job portraying their roles! I was never bored and was very worried about how this would end.
Speaking of the ending, the very, very end was a HUGE let down, but it is 100% possible to ignore that part of the ending. I can't say anything else without giving things away, but just know, you'll enjoy the ending if you take my advice. Even if you watch that tidbit, you can still be like, pffft, okay, nah.
I can't wait to watch more like this, and more from our leads!

Feels like a cut up show
Let them eat cake! The good thing about this show, the actors are hot. Some scenes look like they were cut out from a 10 star show.
The bad part... which is a really big downer, was the pacing. It really felt like someone took a longer show and clipped out the highlight parts and smashed them together. Everything was super rushed. It felt so awkward.
I don't want to be unfair and compare a SK BL to a Thai BL because we all know they are in entire different realms of content, but come on. Have SK BL writers never watched a Thai BL drama? Do they not realize handing out bare bones stories isn't the way to go? They write out summary ideas of shows and make just that, summary shows. Where is the meat and potato's? Where is the feeling of warming up to the characters chemistry? Some SK BL's are decent when short, but others just feel so lacking.

PG13 version of Kinnporsche
This was done better than I had expected. I'll be honest, I'm not sure how well GMMTV does dark, gritty, more serious than a school romance, shows quite yet. The only other one I've seen from them was Not Me, and that was a decent enough show. This ALMOST feels like the PG13 version of Kinnporsche! That's a good way to describe it.The main couple had some really good moments, sad and happy ones that really made you feel for them. You felt the beach vibes, you felt the despair, you felt the seperation. Other times though, they felt very distant. I think it's because of Ponds character, he was TOO stubborn! He never truly seemed to let Nuengdiao in.
The second couple really had no time or development but hey, Perth is hot, so whatever. It was a cute small side story. Perth was dressed to impress in this one!
What I really didn't like:
Why was the rich kid being bullied? Why was the school so rundown? Shouldn't he have been in fancier attire at school and worshipped by the other kids so they could get stuff from him. They probably skimped on the budget of the school for other parts of the show but MAN that school was run down. I couldn't believe for a second it was a school for rich kids. I also couldn't believe that kids that went there would really go after someone they could benefit from in the future. Burning a super powerful bridge? Doesn't seem smart.
Can we stop shaking the crap out of people who just got shot? I get it, but also, put pressure on the wound! Stop shaking them like a rag doll! Imagine getting shot, being in pain, and having someone shake you like a jackhammer haha.
Also the death of his mother felt so odd. It felt like we saw her get shot and then she was assumed to be dead right away. It also felt like a "Hey, you're mom is dead but keep fighting man!" I didn't feel much from him about his moms death.
Finally the relationship not feeling real because Palm is a stubborn idiot who never accepted Nueng's love. He was always MR. Nueng and Palm never got over that feeling he didn't deserve him.
Overall I'm glad I watched this. It was different from the usual GMMTV college BL, it was fresh and thrilling. The romance was good and it wove together well with the rest of the plot. The ending was satisfying.

Let's all hug Joon
Some say less romance, some say it's fine. I like romance, so if a story has a bit much of it, I don't mind, if it's a good romance. In this one I think everything developed well, it could have done without the romance, but I also don't think the romance really hurt anything. The trio fit so nicely together, and Joon grew and opened up through both characters in his own ways. I think that was very important, and he deserved a romance and a great new friend. Why do viewers want to take that away?I think this had a lot of dark with a lot of light. I was frustrated at times that Joon didn't open up sooner with Soo Hyun, not doing so lead Soo Hyun to have so many wrong ideas.
I really just feel this story was completed really well. I think the one thing I could get rid of is the professors. I skipped over there parts because they seemed pointless to this story. I'm excluding Joon's brother in this, because he is clearly very important.
This gave me all the feels, and that is all I ask for in a drama. That and keeping me wanting to binge it, and it did just that.
The heartache I felt for Joon and a bit for his brother. I can relate to how Joon feels, and it is a terrifying, heartbreaking, confusing thing. The fact he could even portray himself as cheery and also be cheery was a huge feat. We need to give him all the hugs and all the credit he is due!
I also loved his hair in this.

Toxic love anyone?
I want to start by saying, THANK god there are TWO endings to this! Watch the happy ending, skip the sad ending. I watched both and chose the happy ending because the other one seemed like a cheap finish. Or even just a shock value finish. The happy ending was much more fitting to the storyline.I really liked the idea behind this movie, the master and servant, but it was lacking a bit for what I wished it would have had. I did really feel for our main character Shu Nian, he had every reason to be confused and untrusting. I really enjoyed Xie Yan's crazy possessive passion, but I felt like it was a little lacking. He went wild a few times but he didn't really try to show Nian how he felt in a way Nian could have believed. For a bit there I thought Xie Yan would lock Nian up for awhile, and THAT would have been a twist I would have loved to watch. Keep him captive until he believes your feelings Xie Yan! Sorry, my dark side is coming out. But hey, this is a toxic movie so we're all here for our own reasons.
Overall a good watch, an interesting relationship, and it made me feel.
