Chief Kim honestly was the best drama I've seen so far. It impressed me on many levels, and will forever stay one of my top dramas, no matter what I'll watch in the future. I surely will miss it, and I surely will watch it again some day, when I miss Mr. Righteous and his sassy prosecutor bro.

This drama did everything perfectly fine. The story is deep, full of secrets and conspiracies, a lot of drama amd plot twists. It is perfectly combined with the serious business environment - if you easily get tired by economical terms, you won't like this drama. But one could think now, that mix of deep story and serious business life would be annoying after some time. Well, it isn't. Not all all. Because of two simple reasons:

1. I promise you - no, I swear by Myung Seok's fancy suits - there won't be a single episode where you don't have to laugh. The comedy and funny moments are perfectly implemented and executed, there's no moment when it seems odd and it's always weirdly fitting and satisfying to watch. Witty, sassy, direct. The sense of humor of the producers is definitely amazing.

2. The cast is perfect. I seriously have no single complaint. Nam Goong Min is an incredible actor, I can't imagine someone who could play this role better than he does. He perfectly acts out that direct, weird, (hot), funny, witty and determined Chief, his facial expressions and voice acting deserve an oscar.
Lee Junho as sassy director gave me goosebumps - never ever have I imagined my lovely 2PM boy to be such an amazing actor, playing the role of that really smart, really fancy, really dangerous, (really hot), really hot tempered young financial director, who's actually secretly not as evil as he pretends to be.
Also the support roles are amazing. Especially Myung Seok, the chairman's son, made it hard for me to not fall in love with him. Let's be honest, one cannot not fall in love with him. Be prepared for it.

Actually, I could give you millions of reasons why this drama is a MUST-watch: men in suits (really good fittiing suits), the amount of funny gifs one can make out of this drama, the OST which is a true blessing, and and and...Oh wait. Before I forget it: #Bromance. Come on, we all know ya all never say no to a good bromance. And I can assure you, this is definitely the best love-hate-relationship to bromance story I've ever seen. You naturally ship them. You have to. I mean, after all, Chief Kim ships themselves REALLY obviously (I just say: KISS and CUDDLE). If you're searching for a serious romance between a man and a woman, you won't be happy with this drama. It doesn't focus on romance at all. There are some side stories, there are some hints on possible romances, but nothing world changing. Bromance ftw my friends. If you need a break from clichee-like lovey dovey romances and oddly perfect lovestories, watch this and you'll be the happiest human being on earth.

I'm writing this review minutes after I watched the last episode of a drama. My heart is aching because this wonderful drama is now finished, on the other side I'm incredibly satisfied with the whole drama and also its ending. I would love seeing a season two, and until then I'll just keep it in mind as my favorite drama, which made me really happy - and which made me cry like a little baby out of happiness.
