As someone who really liked the American version of suits, I really wondered hpw they would transform it into a Korean version and if like it...Well the simple answer is: Y E S.
For me verything about this drama was just right. The right amount of drama, love, suspense and bromance. It's not a drama you can just watch on the go, since it, in my eyes, really requires to be attentive and focus on the story - the plot twists are great. All the cases that were displayed were extremely interesting, and the way how Kang Seok and Yeon Woo worked together to solve all this and overcome even the biggest obstacles was just amazing. Smart, witty, savage, daring.
Don't expect this to see super righteous and honest, good people - the drama rather focuses on the fact that there's often a thin line between good and evil, moreover it makes you realize that rather than black and white, there's this unexplainable grey-ish mix and you have to find out yourself what justice means to you.
Apart from the story, I also really appreciated the high quality acting of all actors (I only knew Park Hyungshik before), and also the really great soundtrack. So overall, if you want a not so lightheartedly, rather serious drama, mixed with savage jokes and witty discussions (not to forget the great bromance), then give it a try. I really enjoyed watching it and even forced myself to not binge watch, because I wanted to watch it as long as possible. Now it's over, but I finished it with a really good feeling and I'd love to see a second season.
