Love the actors but frustrating lack of communication
First, I just want to say I loved Fiat so so much! Ok, now on to my rant-y review:I enjoyed the overall chemistry, acting, and the storyline overall but there’s still a lot that annoyed me about this show. As I say about every Thai drama I’ve seen, all the stupid fights the main couple always gets into is due to a LACK OF COMMUNICATION and this one was the same way. It irks me to no end that all of their dumb drama could be avoided if they would just communicate better.
In episode 9 or 10 (I can’t remember which one) when King drugs Fiat, I think that Fiat should’ve told Leo what happened. And he was clearly drugged even when Leo walked into the bar, so that whole interaction and “jealousy” crap annoyed me because the entire show was literally Fiat crying the whole time over how much he loved Leo, but other stuff or people keep getting in their way.
Ok Leo and Fiat’s friend circle: I loved them. The twins were great, the other two boys in each of their crews’ were silly, but they were really good and supportive friends the whole series. Side note: can we just talk about the lowkey adorable FEMALE couple we got?? Please, can we get more of a side story or bonus episode with them?? I loved these two strong females!
Leon & Pob: be still, my tender heart. I feel ok with the ending only because it’s not a real ending and I’m hoping (it probably will) that episode 13 gives them the attention and ending they deserve. Pob is the sweetest Angel on earth, nurturing any animal or person that needs care, this I’m sure due to his childhood. He was guarded of course, but Leon still managed to get past his barriers and I loved watching them together. I screeched when Pob actually told Leo he was jealous of Leon’s past with other people/the attention Leon gets from girls still, that was so refreshingly honest and cute and I’m glad he still trusted Leon (unlike our insecure LEO and fiat lol). I do think Pob still had some things to work through and had to do the humanitarian work he intially set out to do before he fell in love with Leon, so I’m fine with them finding each other again (in episode 13) since I’m sure they waited for each other.
Finally thoughts: overall I did enjoy this series. I’m super biased to Fiat, I loved him. I forget that this was part of the TharnType universe (I dropped season 2) but honestly the prequel and this series filled me enough of LeoFiat that I didn’t need to watch that show “just” to see them in it.
I hope to see more of these two actors in works together in the future!

enjoyable but short! understandable for those haven’t read/seen anime
I never watched the anime or read the manga but the live action was enjoyable and understandable to any audience that doesn’t know the story.I enjoyed the cast and plot and only am a little disappointed that it’s only five episodes and probably not going to get anymore seasons. The fighting scenes were entertaining and cool to watch and I really liked the character growth we saw from all the characters. Now this has made me want to go watch the anime to compare the plots and see how the director changed it.

I Need a Keam/Ball Series!!
This series was cute, I binged it in a day. If you like BL DRAMAS with less steam and more of a cutesy Will-they-won’t-they get together type of drama, this one is one for you. I enjoyed all the friendships (and the last episode showed the possibilities of SO MANY COUPLES) and potential for more in a lot of the character groups. one thing is for certain: I hope they make spin-offs or follow ups for all the other couples in this series!!! Particularly Keam & Ball!! please!! Hear me!! I need this storyline ?Was this review helpful to you?
ahhh dare I say better than the OG?
I was skeptical going in, but omg I really liked this one! it was so light and fun and pretty easy to follow along unlike the mess of the Thai one!I don’t know if I need to go back to rewatch it, but it was the perfect light quick one that I needed rn. and I really liked the cast, I hope to see them in future works (hopefully together but probably not).
also the kissing in this was so good for a Korean BL???? I was kind of surprised but this gives me hopes for future BLs and the improvement of how their kissing goes.
I still think the story of the sister writing the BL is kinda quirky and dumb, but I get that it’s what sets the plot going in this show, so I’ll be fine with it.

Chanting for a Season 2!
I loved this drama so much!I am really into the Chinese dramas that have been recently released about e-sports and this one was no exception, I really enjoyed it.
I liked the storyline, the chemistry between the main characters, and the teammates that surrounded them. I know many real esports fans have complained that this is an unrealistic portrayal of the Industry, but take it with a grain of salt because that’s what this is- a drama, romanticization of the industry.
I really enjoyed Xu Kai and Chen’s Xiao as leads together, I think they did a great job and I hope to see them work together again (in other dramas or a season 2, hehe) fighting!

Sun’s Attractiveness ESCALATED, also cute show
Ok!!! I have finished!!!I don’t think I’d need to rewatch this one but it was pretty solid. I liked the storyline, I hate that the dad turned out to be homophobic but what do you expect from a mafia boss?!
Sun’s ATTRACTIVENESS went from like a 3 to a 10 for me from the first to the eighth episode!!! He bloomed so much! He also gained so much personality!!
I found Sky a bit annoying and dramatic but I also felt like he got handed everything he wanted and I felt as if I saw him grow through the series, and he really loved Sun so he was fine in my book.
PETITION FOR A BANK/PITCH sequel, I love the energy of these two!
I found the girls annoying. That’s all. Especially the one that was chasing Sun. BOUNDARIES, girl! But anyways overall it was a pretty ok drama. Really liked Sun the most.

The!! Ending!! Was!! Rushed!!
Okay I really loved the two main characters and from the other reviews I’ve seen, the majority is in agreement that they feel as if the ending was obviously very rushed for them to end up together. They had all this build up, and honestly in episodes 9-11, they just avoided each other and totally could’ve had a first kiss or feelings explosion during any of their awkward “shuffle around each other” encounters.I’m curious why they are having a 13th episode come out, I don’t think it should’ve been marketed as a special since it’s coming out the week after the show “ends,” it could’ve just been episode number 13.
Anyways, the second couple was really cute and soft, I enjoyed their chemistry which was comparably a fast moving relationship compared to the leads. Ugh.
Anyways, I really would love to see Hank and Aaron more, either a continuation so we can see what they’re actually like as a couple in this drama universe or in something else entirely, I like the actors together.
Also, I hope the third/straight couple in the friend groups winds up being okay since we never actually saw if they made up or not, but I guess the assumption is that they are or will be fine since the single rule has been abolished.
Also strange/weird encounter with someone from HIStory? I liked it though haha.
OH and I loved Shei Lei’s mom and how supportive of her son she was. That was great.

My Vote For Color Rush 2!
I loved this one so much!! It was too short! I would’ve loved to have seen these storylines extended to a regular-length drama. I found the quirks that our two main characters have to be very interesting and also would’ve been curious to see what the writers did with the storyline of where Yeon Woo’s mom disappeared to.The romance was believable, and I’m impressed and proud of the direction the Korean industry is going with LGBTQ stories.
Also, Yoo Han is beautiful and I thought Hur Hyun Jun played his character pretty good for his first acting gig! I definitely hope to see him in more projects/dramas in the future.
