I had high expectations for this BL. It was SMBD so it caught my attention thinking wow BL is going towards a more mature adult audience. I watched episode 1 and it kinda confused me as Kim was in the same bar as his exBF who had a new love. They were being affectionate in front of Kim who was wallowing in his sorrows with a drink or two or three…..Then Kim gets up and starts out for the boys RR with his ex following. You see Kim crying uncontrollably water running in the sink. The ex-BF apologizes to Kim telling him he tried but could not fall in love with him. And, that he loves his new Bf. Kim continues to cry and nods acknowledging that yes, he understands, he could not love him. Heartbroken he leaves. He continues to cry at his home trying to understand why he cannot find true love especially the loss of this his true love pining for years but an unrequited love that cannot be returned.

The Mafia boss is captured entering the hotel where high rollers are meeting to seal big deals. The paps snap his picture as he exits his limo. He is followed by his entourage. A beautiful penthouse with a variety of sexual props are shown. Kamol has various men that he picks up but none click with him lesving him unsatisfied. He continues his search dismissing those he uses with his henchmen escorting them out the next morning.

Kim visits his parents who are happy to see him. They are supportive of their son and his lifestyle which is refreshing to observe. His father tells him its his loss, not yours. At the office Kim looks dejected and the girls in the office want to cheer him up so they decide to invite him to the local bar. He doesn’t tell them he has suffered a broken heart. Soon, a suitor who has a crush on Kim, shows up. Kim tells the girls to get him off his back which they do in a funny part of the episode as anything Samantha does she lightens up!

Kim joins the girls at the bar and after having a good time the girls leave. Kim decides to stay behind and drink more. Kamol approaches him and Kim asks if he is interested. Kamol nods and Kim tells him can you help me forget my ex. Kamol agrees. Kamol keeps asking him if he is drunk and Kim states no he is not drunk. Kamol will not proceed if the men he picks up are totally wasted. Next, Kim is at the penthouse snd Kamol asks again but Kim reaffirms that he is not drunk. Kim pulls him down for contact but Kamol opens the dresser drawer next to the bed exposing sex props, leather handcuffs which he slips on Kim’s wrists, a leather feather like whip and a candle. He leans in for a kiss. Kamol proceeds to handcuff his wrists (loosely) then whip his chest gently and pour hot wax from the burning candle lightly on his chest. Kim writhes in pain, then we suddenly see his hands go limp inside the cuffs.

Next, Kim looks at his bruises and wonders why he let this happen. Kim knows he’s not into kinky sex or is he? He looks for his clothes snd wants to leave feeling uncomfortable. He finds a note saying he had to go to the work but will be back asap. Anxious to leave, Kim looks around and sneaks out of the penthouse.

Kim is seen back at his place calling the office that he will be out the day as he does not feel well. The girls are quizzical but understand.

The preview shows Kamol looking for Kim and wanting him to come live with him as he finally made a connection with the person he’s been searching for..,(too bad I didn’t see that connection). And, Kim upset that Kamol just showed up demanding he leave with him. Oh, well, episode 2 coming up maybe that will hold more interesting connections between the two. We shall see…!!!
