It was a very enjoying watch
This series was, like my headline says, a very enjoying watch.the storyline was good and the actors that were cast for this series were good too. There's one thing however that was less good in my eyes. That is the fact that the first nine episodes could've been done in less. It was very stretched out what made it quite repetetive. And yet, this is also one of the points I want to highlight. While these parts were so milked out, they weren't boring for me. You also got a very good feel for the characters because these parts were so stretched out. And the fact that you get such a good feel for the characters adds to the sadness you get to feel during the sad scenes, and the happyness you get to feel during the happy scenes. If they hadn't milked out those moments, my heart probably wouldn't have felt the same as it did during the series now. So I must applaude the creators for being able to give a function to the milking out of moments.
Because the scenes were so stretched out however, the rewatch value isn't that high for me. I might rewatch some scenes, but not the entire series again. Unless I have nothing else to watch.
The story was, like I wrote earlier stretched out, yet not boring to me. I felt like i went through the episodes on an alarming rate. This could also have to do with the fact that the episodes were kinda short, but still.
While I was watching I looked at Santa (Cake) and thought to myself "Hmm, he's obviously not highschool age.." So I looked up their ages and found out that they are not in fact highschool age. I do not however recommend searching up their ages during or before watching this series... It slightly ruined the feel I got during the series, which I do not wish for anyone else to happen.
The music was the same music usually used during Thai bls so no complaints there, as always.
The score I'd give this is still pretty high. The story itself was really good after all, even if it was milked out.
Hope this was helpful!
bye!

loved it.
First of all, I loved this drama. The only real thing I can say about this is that it was too short. it had 8 episodes of about 15 minutes. I just wish it was a bit longer. So I'm currently wishing for a second season.
the story was very good, though I wished they had gone into the pasts a bit more (they could've done this in the extra time I proposed earlier for instance). what I especially loved about this drama was the endings of the episodes. At the end of every episode there was this extra story from when they were still in high school. These were extremely cute and they really showed me how it could've gone if Lee Wan dared to express his feelings back then. (at least the last one).
The acting was super cute and well done. The chemistry between Lee Seung Gyu and Lee Jong Hyuk was really good and I'm exited to know whether or not they play together in another drama. The exchanges between them made the drama so cute in my eyes tbh.
The music was also well thought out and made some of the scenes shine even better than they would've if they had chosen different music.
The rewatch value is also pretty high since there's a chance I would watch this again. Which I don't do often. Only woth the ones I really like.
Overall this drama was very cute and I'd love to see another season.

Felt kind of rushed
Ok so before I get into this review I want to say that I did like the drama. I may not score it the highest, but that's mostly because it felt like the drama was kept as short as possible and kind if rushed. If the makers had made the episodes a bit longer and explained some stuff a little more I would've probably rated this show a lot higher. The majority of this post will however be me explaining what's wrong with the synopsis, and what it actually should've said. Now then. I'll start with the story. Like I said above, the story felt kind of rushed. Some things were left to your imagination while the series would've made a lot more sense if these things were explained a bit more/better.
Also, the synopsis is wrong. Let me explain.
In the synopsis it says that "a child was named after god and was cursed" this is not correct. The child(Dongbeak) was a child of god (so not named after god but just not given any name) and named by his lover(Yudam). Because names hold destiny in this drama, this started a new series of events, which got Dongbeak and Yudam cursed.
The synopsis also states that "after 4 reincarnations the child finds his love in the form of an employee of his company" this is also wrong. Yes, the director finds his love in the form of an employee, but this was not after 4 reincarnations. This was after 300 years of living. And more importantly, it wasn't Dongbeak who was the director, but Yudam.
Dongbeak was reincarnated however, but not 4 times. As far as us was told he was reincarnated only once. While Yudam had to wait 300 years for Dongbeak to be reincarnated.
As said before, this drama felt like it was kept as short as possible. Because of this it felt like a lot of things were left unexplained or just slightly explained. This explanation was sometimes very confusing, yet somehow still enough that you could understand what happened to them and why Yudam is rondomly clinging to Dongbeak. Also because it was kept as short as possible it felt kind of rushed. For example, they fell for eachother way too easy. Like yes, I understand that you had feelings for eachother in the past and seeing each other made you remember these feelings again. But it felt weird to me. I can't properly explain why though.
As for the acting, I loved it. These two had pretty good chemistry. Tho like I said just now, at some points it felt kinda fake to me, that why I only scored it a 7. But since I am used to the acting from Thai dramas, where the acting feels kind of stiff a lot of the time, the acting felt really good to me.
I will probably not watch this one again, though there is still a small chance I would. But I think I'd probably prefer to read the manga again instead.
Considering all of this I score this drama a 7. Because even tho it felt kind of rushed, it was still pretty good. And like I said at the start the majority of this post is just me saying what's wrong with the synopsis, not the story.

loved it
I loved this drama. The story was super good, and (for me) the exact right amount of fluff and sadness. When he ran I almost cried myself. I just find it kind of sad that they left a lot of things unsaid, like they thought we understood what the characters were thinking. We haven't seen their story before this part, so that was quite a bummer. Never found out what they meant with certain parts either.?
The acting was also pretty good. Usually when I start a Thai drama the acting starts off a but shaky and gets better with time. But with this drama it started out strong and stayed strong, which was a pleasant surprise. Ofcourse there were some spots where you could hear the characters didn't believe the words they said themselves, but come on, we're all human here. These few tiny sentences don't take back how they started strong and stayed strong.
I also liked the music very much. The music they chose for every scene fit well and when they went to another scene they also changed it to fit that next scene.
The rewatch value is also very high, because I would definitely watch this one again.
Considering all of these I give the overall drama a rating of an 8.

wasn't bad
This show wasn't the worst I've ever seen but it wasn't all that bad either.Though the story could've easily been told in less episodes and was thus a bit stretched out and very predictable in a lot of ways, it was still very enjoyable. I didn't however like how they stretched out the part with Nam Ning as well. This made it all even more predictable, and kind of annoying.
While I don't feel like this regards all of the acting, it was in a lot of spots horrible. I expected this to get better while the show went on, but it didn't. Sometimes I sadly felt like it got even worse as it went on. But this did however make for some pretty funny parts.
The music was just so-so. I liked the intro the first few times but after that I started to get bored of it and during the series the music was sometimes just randomly cut off only to start the scene again, but with different music in the background. I mean yes, this foes happen in a lot of shows, but in the other shows in which this happens, the music isn't randomly cut off, but it gets faded away.
For me, personally, the rewatch value isn't very high. I mean yes, I liked it, but not so much that I'd want to watch it all over again. like I said before, it was already kind of predictable watching it for the first time. So what would happen if I were to watch it again? I'd be bored half to death.
All of this considered I'm giving the show an over all score of a 6.

The last few episodes threw me for a loop
When I started this drama I had a hard time watching it because there were a lot of awkwards scenes, but the last few episodes turned everything around.First of all let's talk about the story. The story was very well made and I really enjoyed it. Even while skipping awkward scenes, (seeing how I literally hit myself when watching awkwardness I didn't think it was such a good idea to watch those) the story was still very easy to understand.
Like I said, the drama started out with a lot of awkward scenes. While I now understand why they were necessary, it still gave me a hard time watching this and it thus took me a very long time to actually finish this. I have to say that I even had the drama on dropped for a while there if I'm being entirely honest... But after a while I decided to start watching if again and boy am I glad I did.
Those last few episodes threw me for a whole ass loop. I went through 3 or 4 emotional rollercoasters. Especially the credits dancing scene from episode 11... That one actually made me cry, which I must say doesn't happen often.
Long story short, even though this drama started out very awkward, these were probably some of the best ending episodes I know.
Let's move on to the acting. The fact that the acting was so good that I could easily understand what the characters were feeling. Which is actually very hard to do. The only point in this serie where I thought the acting was awkward was the way noey's mum acted during the scene in episode 12 where noey asked thi to marry him. I found this very enjoying too look at, so if you get or got that far I recommend checking her out.
The rewatch value of this one was relatively low for me. I have a feeling like I'll rewatch the last episodes but probably not the rest because of the earlier told awkwardness. That's why made this one relatively lower.
The overall score is still high however, seeing how I really enjoyed watching this one.
Hope you have a nice day/night and I hope this was helpful. Goodbye??
