Ok, the moment I finished this movie I immediately felt the need to write about it, so here it goes...

Guys, before watching this movie you should know something: This is NOT a realistic movie, it has a little bit of fantasy, a little bit of crazyness and if weird is not exactly your favorite word, then DON'T watch this movie, because you'll feel so lost and bored and won't find the sense of this wonderful film. This movie is not for everyone, just sayin'

why is this movie worth watching?

1st reason: You will be delighted with many crazy and awesome characters, the movie is able to immerse the viewers into the worlds of the patients of this mental institution, you'll see from the perspective of many of them and you'll understand the way they see the world and understand what's relevant for them and what makes them move on in life...

Each character is a world and a wonderful one, each character has a story to tell and everyone of them are relevant for this story, writers managed to make us love them and make us want to know more about their lives.

So you'll have many stories and characters to follow while watching the film, not just the main couple.

2nd reason: The love story is totally beautiful, it's crazy imagine how a love story between these two weird people could be possible but this relationship has everything you need in a normal-sane relationship but adapted to the enviroment they are in.
There's understanding, love, acceptance, bonding, protection, caring omg! so many things that makes you believe and love their love story so much ^_^

3rd reason: I don't know about you guys, but I always had an enormous smile on my face while watching this film, I truly enjoyed every single detail about this film, I never got bored and well, that's a really important reason hehe ^_^

Enjoy this film!!!

How I thought it was gonna be / how it really was:

1. I wasn't planning to watch this drama because I thought it was gonna be a drama only about food and relationships around food and nothing else but food... But I was totally wrong. It's true that food takes a really important place in this drama, and it will definitely make you hungry to death while watching it and you can even take note of some recipes, but I think that food was just an excuse for the characters to interact between them and it also worked as a stress relief for them, but nothing more, Yes! food is very important in this drama but is not boring because of that and is not all about food food food all the time.

2. I was also expecting this drama to be a super funny and light rom-com, but HELL NO! this drama has so many genres embedded altogether that you don't really know what to expect next. Sometimes the drama literally creeped the hell out of me, sometimes it was really funny, and sometimes it was totaly odd, and definitely this drama is gonna make you doubt of almost every character at least once.

3. The romance in this drama totally takes a second, or even a third place, writers definitely weren't interested on create a love story as the main topic of this show. The relationships and the interactions the character had between them didn't unfold along a love story development, but they took their own courses. If you are expecting a cute, funny, cheesy love story, then don't watch this drama.

What could have been done better? (may have SPOILERS):

1. The whole creepy- killer-thief story could have been done way better, I really wanted this drama to focus on it, but it just took a second place in the story and there were episodes that I was expecting to see some progress about finding out who the killer was, but writers just didn't give us clues to find out, sometimes it felt like they had totally forgot about the killer story and at the end of the episode they were like: Oh! true! we created a killer we have to talk about him a little, I totally forgot! TT_TT I wanted that this creepy background that the first episodes gave us could drive me crazy the entire week thinking who could be the bad guy.

2. I never actually rooted for any couple: I loved the main male lead and the second male lead too, but I didn't feel any sparks when they were interacting with our heroine, it actually felt kind of awkward sometimes (even with the main male lead), that's why I never understood why she fell in love with him, *spoiler* I know that she started to see him in a different way when she found out that he was the blogger of her favorite food blog, but it just didn't feel like a true and honest love feeling. What I mean is that love didn't have enough ground to grow and to develop and to be believable.

Should you watch it then?

Yes! this drama is a good drama, it wasn't flawless but if you want something different from the typical k drama, then watch it, you'll enjoy it...At least I did. :)

Oh such a feel good movie! Everything you want in a rom-com is here and I loved it!

This is such a typical story used in many romantic comedies but the writers' job and also the actors' great chemistry made the romance that arose from that short encounter believable and beautiful. I love movies that deliver what they promise and this one did so. It made me smile, fangirl, scream and laugh, I felt my heart warmed and happy after finishing it so it means this was worth the time.

The acting was perfect for the story, our leads have fantastic chemistry together (and I swear Yoo Yeon Seok is one of the best kissers in Dramaland, God!) they really need to act in something else in the future.
The comedy was on point too. Everything basically. By the way I have a thing for love stories and trains haha I just find it so romantic. Like you can actually meet the love of your life in a train lol.

The OST, well since I love Ed Sheeran so much, I obviously loved the ost here hehe.

I would definitely rewatch this anytime, maybe tomorrow hehe and also recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a lovely romantic story and also hot-lovely kisses ;)

What a nice movie my friends, what a nice movie...
I think my heart is still in a roller coaster of emotions... Right in the feels!

The movie tells the story of a group of friends who are always involved in street fights and getting in troubles. They call themselves -sperm- and their leader -who is the center of the story- is Gun, played by Mario Maurer, who did (as always) a great job here. The story also focuses on the new member of the gang called Song, who is totally adorable ^_^

The story of their friendship is so touching from beginning to end. The movie manages to take the viewer into the journey of these friends, we can see and feel their love, their feelings, their bonding, their problems, and pressures...Until we actually feel part of the -sperm- gang :)

This story teaches a great lesson, FRIENDSHIP IS FOREVER, no matter what you do, how many mistakes or how lost you are, a good friend will always grab your hand and get you out of the huge mess you are in. A good friend never dies. :3

I loved this quote from the movie, it is said by our leader :)

“ Song… You must remember,

We are fighters, not gangsters.

Men fight until there’s a winner, never to kill.” – GUN

Oh my dear Gun, you are so wise. He's a loveable character. He is wise and true to himself.

I think it's important to point that the story is based on real facts... Thinking that 40 years ago a group of friends used to call themselves -sperm- and got to build such a strong bond of friendship forming the most respected band of Chiang Mi's streets, is totally awesome. It makes me love this movie more and also feel it deeper.

I just needed to write my thoughts about the ending. I loved it, I know it's a sad ending it totally destroyed my heart, I cried oceans when he died, and the way he did! But the way he stayed strong until the very end in front of their friends, the fact that he was dying but he had to get in time to his meeting with the girl. omg! For sure Gun is a character I will always love :)

Finally this last quote:

-Though there won't be a man named Gun anymore,
he will remain as a great memory in our hearts forever...
Today two members of sperm have lost their lives.
The rest are now living their lives mindfully,
the violence in their teen years has become a painful memory they want to forget-

And tears just keep falling.
