So many great child actors in this drama and now they have grown up into fantastic adult actors. Korean child actors don’t seem to have had problems growing through puberty and acting out in dramatic ways in their youth stages. Maybe because they were still working through those years and didn’t suddenly get rich and have a doorman drought. I totally amaze with Korean child actors who have grown up. They have become some of my favourite adult actors. So innovative that Korean drama has been coming up with these new ideas and genre like this one and ‘Arthdal Chronicles’. Some people are not so fond of them but many of us are needing and extensive of pep of our drama viewing as we are moving forward in this 21 Century. I love how we go far back into the past when Yeo Jin Goo/Jung Jae Min loses his memory.
As said by Baek Ma-ri, “When you eat oranges, you throw away the peels, But when you make orange marmalade, you include the peels in order to improve the taste and texture. To make something special, even the parts that you would usually trash are needed.” Deep.
In different lifetimes Lee Jong Hyun/Han Shi Hoo and Lee Jong Hyun/Han Shi Hoo fell in love with the same girl.
So interesting how Song Jong Ho/Han Yoon Jae and Lee Il Hwa/Kang Min Ha in the past where he is a high order human blood sucking vampire and she’s human. Is he going to fall in love with her. Bet he is??? He’s married to her in the 21 Century
Did I tell you before I love this back to back fighting?? It was Lee Jong Hyun/Han Shi Hoo and the second lead in “My only Love Song” One of them bitten by a vampire and the other( Yeo Jin Goo/Jung Jae Min) with Hemaphobia ( faints at the sight of blood). Is this when he is going to turn into a Vampire.
Yeo Jin Goo/Jung Jae Min gives her(Kim Seol Hyun/Baek Ma Ri) a silver knife to protect her but he doesn’t see that its actually burning her hand.

Review: Unrequited LoveLot of couples with Unrequited Love. Some started off together but didn’t really like their partner then got feelings for them when they broke up and the partner got a new love. The previous partner then realised that they liked that person after all. Another couple realised he loved a girl that was in his past whom he never noticed earlier. He got a mad passion for her and was jealous of her other male friends and activities without him. He was a very popular boy and had many girlfriends before her. Then somehow problems popped up.
Different boys loved different girls that didn’t love them back. An engaged couple lived and slept together but were not totally in love with each other. They were just used to being together.
So easy to cheat in university exams. Just replace them in the exam. So many students very few people know who you really are.
Lot of mixed up emotions and misunderstandings. Until finally most of them got their man and woman.

He is a consigliere member of a Mafia family
He arrives in Korea and straight away the people he meets rip him off. They don’t know that he was part of the mafia in Italy. Now they have illegally taken away his building. They don’t know what they have done. What he will do to get it back.Oooooh! It’s exciting and fun. They are underestimating him at every turn. They don’t know the terrible things he’s done in the name of the mafia.
Song Joong Ki looks so clean cut, sleek and immaculate but his favourite means of revenge is fire and intimidation. He recruits his team of collaborators from those hurt by the chemical firms.
I love this drama so much Song Joong Ki has transformed himself into this pseudo-villain and he and Jun Yeo Bin have this Bonnie and Clyde vibe going on. It’s so sexy, provocative and vexatious. Wow! Just want the episodes to keep flowing forward. Every week is like a taster for the next exciting event and experience. I can’t wait for what they are going to reveal next, because the real villain has materialized and shocked us all.
Some episodes are just crazy and Kim Yeo Jin/Choi Myung Hee is just the wrong actress for this. I don’t find her that believable in that part. I just find her pathetic and inadequate when she overacts. Not like Song Joong Ki/Vincenzo Cassano he is so cool, handsome and has that dangerous vibe going on.
I like Vincenzo Cassano and Hong Cha Young’s relationship of equality. She is what we call in New Zealand, a hardcase, funny yet super intelligent. She has guessed that he is in the Mafia. She is getting feelings for him but they don’t have chemistry yet. She is such a comedian.
Vincenzo Cassano biological mother is dying and on the execution list for a murder she didn’t commit. He has been ignoring her because she abandoned him and that is why he ended up with Italian adopted parents, but I think that he is beginning to get compassion for her.
This drama has it’s comedic moments then back to serious and deadly. Roll on next week
Well yeah! There was a bit of a lull mid drama but the real villain has hotted things up with a spate of killings. The brothers Jang Jun Woo (Mr Lunatic) and and Han Seo (Mr Wimp) but I think that both of them are totally psychopathic. The older brother has Daddy issues that haven’t really been explained or I missed it.
Vincenzo Cassano has mummy issues stemming from him being abandoned in and orphanage when he was young but he coming to the realisation that his mum had reasons for it that he didn’t know of when he was a child.
I was looking at the name Vincenzo it reminds me of incendio.
Shades of my Harry Potter experiences.
This cold hearted man is getting feelings for this girl that he has no chemistry with the leading female. Yikes! no way!

Lee Joon Gi is certainly the master action actor
How interesting is this. The finale for me fails to fire. Too many rushed ideas all at once without the background information. Lee Joon Gi is still fabulous in his role of Eunseom/Saya. But somehow the ending doesn’t strike the right cord for me. Arthdal carries on with Eunseom as the King but for me this part of the plot seems weak.I still really enjoyed Arthdal Chronicles and have watched it several times already. I'm glad Eunseom and Tanya get their happy ever after but I'm sad for Saya. He got a bad deal all the way.
I have grown to like Saya. He has never been loved. He is a complicated person with deep seated hurts. Even the King tried to kill him and failed. Without his help Eunseom would not have been able to save Tanya. He has a certain charisma but also a ruthlessness about him but I believe that this is his survival mode. He has inferiority complex and doesn’t know that his carriage and presence is stunning. Now I'm waiting for the background about his celestial item "the mirror". Bring on the next series where we can watch our favourite action actor Lee Joon Gi stun us with his scintillating and breath-taking stunts and knock us out with powerful, mesmerizing and hypnotic countenance.

My Review: One Spring Night (2019)To be honest Jung Hae In/Yoo Ji Ho seduced me to watch this drama. I watched a few of his other works
2018 Something in the Rain 16 Seo Joon Hee Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food
2017 While You Were Sleeping 32 Han Woo Tak
2015 Blood 20 Joo Hyun Woo
He has a way of drawing you in. Something about his smile that makes you want to cry. This is a new drama on Netflix. I’ve paid for Netflix in New Zealand. What I like about it it is that the quality of the product for the viewer is outstanding, perfect colour and clear crisp picture. Sound doesn’t affect me because I’m a bit deaf and I’m watching the subtitles anyway and I can read fast. If I need too I can stop it and rewatch it. Music yeah its there in the back ground sometimes I turn it down anyway because in interferes with my enjoyment of the story or stresses me out. I just started it.
I have discovered there are three sisters, Han Ji Min/Lee Jung In lead actor, she a librarian. She has a long term boyfriend Jung Hae In/Yoo Ji Ho but the glow has come off her relationship and she doesn’t want to marry him. Im Sung Eon/Lee Seo In [Jung In's elder sister / News Anchor] not happy in her marriage wants a divorce. I think he’s abusing her but she’s keeping it hidden for her families sake. Joo Min Kyung/Lee Jae In [Jung In's baby sister] bit of a roaming, attractive woman and just come back from France where she was stalking a guy. She said France has got tough laws on stalking so best for her to come back to Korea.
Han Ji Min/Lee Jung has met Jung Hae In/Yoo Ji Ho a pharmacist who is single but has a young son. So far just sparks are twinkling between these two.
I know I said thematic doesn’t move me but somehow it playing on my deep psyche. It because they are thinking about each other and I here the music soft and serious. Is it in English? It is moving words and music in English.
Jung Hae In/Yoo Ji does these sad crybaby roles so well. He doesn’t cry but us the viewers do. His face tell the whole despondent story. You just want to hug him and say keep going baby its going to be alright. He was like that in “Something in the rain”. I love his words ”If you come to me now they’ll be no turning back.” So exciting so final. So irresistible to me anyway. Wasn’t he having a secret love affair in “Something in the Rain?” Oh man he’s going to be typecast as the guy who has secret romances and breaks his own heart. Forbidden love is so exciting.
The Three Sisters are so good to each other supporting and watching each others back. But Korean parents just drive me crazy. Let your kids make their own decisions and who cares if your girls don’t ever get married. Why do they need to get married? If they have got a good job that is all they need. Don’t they have family support and old age pension in Korea. My sister’s and I are good to each other but my grand daughters are the best supporters of their nana.
That Kim Joon Han/ Kwon Ki Seok is so patronising. Acts like women don’t have a brain to think for themselves. It makes me annoyed when he says what did I do wrong? I did everything right by her. Yeah! Nah! Bro, you took her for granted. Went off with the bros every night. Forgot to get in touch when you were late. Your motto was bros before hoes. You only got in touch when you felt like sleeping with her. Not cool bro.
It annoys me so much when I get into these dramas and I realise that the next episodes not until next week. I start surfing the next and trying to find the continuation.
Get over it move on. In real life these things happen. She had already told him she wanted to finish with him but he just wouldn't accept it. So when a new guy comes into the picture. Get on it grab it with both hands. He might be the one who going to make your dreams come true. Test out the waters. He hadn't even given her a ring. He hasn't made a commitment to her. They don't live together. Just sleeps with her occasionally when HE feels like it. No way is this love. They are just dating. Going steady maybe. His parent don't even like her. Dating is the time for testing your feelings. For sure its going to wake up the ex and maybe he'll make better moves. Thing is though in New Zealand it can be a dangerous thing to do. Many male ex's have killed the female ex for less. It so annoying and frustrating that they are not accepting that she has broken up with that Kim Joon Han/ Kwon Ki Seok. She doesn’t want to be with him. Its only episode 11 so anything can still happen. I couldn’t stand it if my parents told me to stay with the two me I had children too. When its over its over. One I had a baby to when I was young and the other one I married.
Then there is the old sister who pregnant with an abusive spouse. Her parents still want her to stay with him. No way Jose carry on and get a divorce from that maniac. She showed her mother pictures of her injuries. The other finally understood and wanted to deal to immediately.
I have spent a lot of time infuriated and angered by the behaviour of some of the men in this drama. Arrogant, dictatorial, controlling, selfish, and indifferent to the feelings and needs of the women in their lives. Why would you force marriage on someone - making everyone's lives miserable? Why would you demand your daughter stay in an abusive marriage and forgive her abuser? (With hints he is also a rapist). Why is their father supporting and enabling the subjugation of his daughters?
Stupid woman she took his ring. That is going to cause a problem. Now his(Jung Hae In/Yoo Ji Ho) heart is broken. How can a woman be so stupid. She even let Kim Joon Han/ Kwon Ki Seok hug her. How she going to get out of this one. Its getting more and more like “Something in the Rain “. So pitiful! She finally gave it back to him and he threw it into oblivion and she just walked away.
These Korean Fathers are so horrible to their daughters. They just want them to marry rich men so they can be comfortable in their old age.
Jung Hae In/Yoo Ji Ho is such a sook and they are both crying. What is the problem with a man having a child, in New Zealand about 1:4 single men have a child and many New Zealanders live together without marriage. Don’t tell me he’s going to cry again after she ask the son if he’d like her to be his mum. He suits these romantic roles so much.
Seo Jung Yeon/Wang Hye Jeong [Ji Ho's colleague] she is the owner of the Pharmacy that he (Jung Hae In/Yoo Ji Ho) works at. She must be a relative of Yu-mi (the mother of (Jung Hae In/Yoo Ji Ho) son. He is very close to his child and worries that his mum will turn up and take him away. When she tells him that she had married and has a child (Jung Hae In/Yoo Ji Ho) has a bit of a break down. Gets drunk and says a dumb thing to Han Ji Min/Lee Jung. She doesn’t take it that well but gets over it. Just analysing his reaction to this news. He was probably upset because she just proved to him that she really just didn’t want him or his son. He should be grateful she left and both him and his son can carry on without a woman who doesn’t love them. They’ve got Han Ji Min/Lee Jung now and she is going to be a great mum to the son.
Jump to the ending its a bit ambiguous to but I think they are going to be together but nothing is really solved with their parent relationship (her dad). Lots of loose ends not tied up. I don’t think I understand the subtleties of Korean courtship.

11/10/18. Yeah! Well I’ve finish watching it. Truth be told is pretty harrowing. Young girl taught to be an assassin. Lucky she was a talker and talked her way out of most killings but some how still got the job done. Her love story with her shadow though. Oh man that was heart breaking. The end I can’t say for myself its was a good ending. I hated it. I was not satisfied there were so many better way to end it.The acting was great and that is why I stuck with the story. Even though the parts were against my own way of thinking it just kept on pulling me back. All were handsome and beautiful people and awesome actors.
It was hard to tell who the real villains were and you kept hoping that they were going to turn to their good side. The thing is when things got bad no one came to her rescue and she kept battling on trying to talk her way out of everything and somehow she convinced most people. Some of the torture scenes were horrific even though your imagination was where you saw it.
I watched this drama on both viki and youtube because vikis English subs were not up to date. I’m not sure that I will ever watch it again. Parts of the story and graphics were very beautiful and the costumes were very detailed and vivid. I love the music as well. I recommend that you watch this with reserves. As the title assumes it has a lot of blood experiences and also child trafficking so its not a drama for children. The fighting scenes so well constructed, breath taking, stunning. Totally worth watching just for the fight scenes so well choreographed. The ending had a double meaning so viewers go puzzle it out.
Myself I don’t care if people don’t like my reviews because I don’t really write them for others. My review help me to puzzle out how I think the story was and sometimes later I change my mind about what I wrote and adjust what I have written. Its a way of solving my opinion and making meaning from what I have viewed. If I didn’t like the ending I make up a new one to put my point of view. I may not write it down but its in my mind as my solution.

He is so staunch, relentless and dauntless and fearless.
Wow! The opening shows Joon His impressive martial Arts skills……but no subtitles yet. I know how Viki works. First day watch with no subtitles, next day watch again with subtitles so you get a double dose of his magic. Just awesome and amazing just to watch him at work once more. Makes me so happy. He is so staunch, relentless and dauntless and fearless. His magnificent skills are showcased in that first episode, but he is worked over first by two larger men and although he beats them he meet another larger man with even stronger skills. He almost chokes him to death but then his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills come to the fore when he is on the ground. His opponent is much larger and stronger than him and flips him even when LJG has dislocated his shoulder. He (the opponent) viciously beats him in the face injects him with a drug and throws him over the side of the high building that they have been fighting on. As he fall he has visions as the cityscape flashes before as he falls. He finds himself standing back on that building watching his killer smoking. He is puzzled and sees a woman in red standing beside him. Is this a reaper? She shows him his past and explains his purpose. She sends him back in time to his school days where he was working in a convenience store. He is amazed with his transformation. Memories of his parents flood his mind and how he mistreated them when his mum always left him breakfast when she went to work early in the morning. Then one day they die and he is sorry for his misconduct In his return to life he runs all the way home to find them still alive. He is so happy to be able to repent for his behaviours. They are amazed with his new actions. They think that they are dreaming. He vows to be a better son and person. Later at school he has a vision of his parents death. He knows the date of their death and wonders if he can stop it. Is he trying to stop them from going to work on that day but fails? So he hurries to meet them when he knows the time and place of the accident where they are killed. He gets there before the car comes and his parents appear. He remembers everything about his previous life. He had looked up all the details of his parents demised so knows exactly what happened. He goes to wait outside his parents work place for them. He walks home with them. He stops them from being hit……..or does he.Well that what I got from it without subtitles.

Mysterious Romance
No bad I’ve just finished the first episode. I like these fantasy dramas because anything can happen. I saw a preview on Facebook and it raised my curiosity so here I am. That Lee Dong WookLee Yeon | [Mountain Spirit of Baekdudaegan] is totally a spunk so I want to watch him. I wonder if he’s on my list of actors that I like. He’s got that vibe.It is a fascinating story of a thousand year love affairs between this fox and human, but then is she really a human. He has waited for her to reincarnated. White in the meantime he has been the reaper for wayward creatures.
So far I really like it but I have lots of questions about this relationship. Did he kill er in her previous life.
