I personally love dramas about supernatural creatures in our time. I love seeing how different creatures live and how they use their powers (if they have any)in our everyday life etc. but to me, this drama doesn't live up to its hype.
I think the acting, the senaries, the music and the overall plot is great, but i feel like this drama is very dragged. There's a lot of repetitive scenes and other unnecessary scenes where i find myself being so bored that i almost fall asleep, at one point i actually fell asleep watching this drama. I usually like dramas that are more on the shorter side and although this drama is 16 (or technically 16,5) episodes long, each episode is around 1 hour and 20 minutes and i'm sorry for saying this, but that is toooo long. The thing is, the episodes are just very unnecessarily long. They could've easily told the same story in 16 episodes where each episode were 1 hour long, without all the unnecessary scenes. If they had done that, i think this drama would've been right up my alley, but unfortunately they didn't.
I'll probably finish this drama at some point soon (i'm currently on episode 13, it's taking me a long time to watch this) but i can already tell that it's not a drama i'll rewatch.

When I started this drama, I was expecting it to be a light romantic-comedy, but the first thing that happens in this drama, I think I can say this, is that someone kills themselves. I understood it after I kept watching it but I did not expect that.
As the story goes on I noticed myself finding it harder to watch, by the end of the drama I felt like I was forcing my way through it. I had already seen 14 episodes so I thought that there was no point in dropping the drama now with only 2 episodes left, but I’m dropping t halfway through episode 15, I just can’t seem to get through the last two episode. I don’t know if I started watching it with to high expectations or if it’s just not that good. One thing is for sure though. If someone asked me whether they should watch “Lucky romance” or “Introverted boss” I would 100% for sure say “Lucky romance”.
All in all, an okey drama, it's not bad but it wouldn't be the first drama i'd reccomend if someone asked me to reccomend a rom-com.

From episode 1 up until the very end of this drama, i was an emotional wreck. I've honestly never cried as much while watching dramas, or in my life, as i did while watching this.
Watching this drama felt like being on a rollercoaster of emotions, you go from sad, to happy, to pissed in less than 10 seconds. And when i was done watching this drama, i didn't watch a new drama for about a week or two, because i felt almost emotionally tired.
I was just so emotionally empty after watching this drama, i was like a dry sponge and i just needed some time to collect myself so my body could produce tears again.
Story: If you like melodramas, then this is melodrama at its finest. If you want to watch something light, with a bit of romance and comedy, then this is probably not for you. (but i'd say give it a shot anyway because it's one of the best dramas i have ever seen)
This drama is a very emotionally heavy drama. There's always something happening in this drama and because of that i wasn't able to watch episode after episode of this drama in one day, but that doesn't mean i didn't like it. It's just that, once you're done with one episode you almost need a bit of time to collect yourself again. Everything that happens in the drama is almost to much to take in. To some people, the storyline of this drama WILL BE to much and almost seem unrealistic and overdone, but to me this was done in the most perfect way. I didn't feel like it was unrealistic at all. Similar things to what we see in remember has happened in real life, of course here it is done to the more extreme to make it more interesting to watch, but things like what we see in Remember, has happened in real life.
I also really liked how it ended. It was not the ending i was hoping for, but it was what felt the most realistic to me. What i also really liked about the ending, was that it didn't feel rushed.
In a lot of dramas, the drama is really good for the most part and then the closer it gets to ending, there's suddenly a lot happening at once. It's almost like the scriptwriters just realised that there's not much time left to finish writing the script and they need to come to a conclusion quickly and that usually leads to ending that are rushed or unrealistic, or both.
In Remember, they took their time with the ending, everything seemed planned out and was just really well done and well written.
If you want that bit of romance there is some in this drama, but it's not the main focus of this drama, which i actually like because that makes it a bit different from most melodramas.
This drama focuses more on the relationship between the main character and his father, and everything he is willing to do and sacrifice to prove his fathers innocence.
Acting: The actors did an amazing job in this drama. I really love Yoo Seung-ho because i could really just feel his acting. When he cried, i cried. When he smiled, i smiled. When he was mad, i was pissed. He just did an amazing job.
Park Min-young did great as well. I loved her character, i didn't feel like she was that needy and annoying girlfriend that we often see in dramas. She just wanted what was best for him, even if that meant her not seeing him again.
But one of the people that left me with the biggest impression was Nam Gung-min. If you really hate ( i didn't just dislike, i flat out hated) a character, then that usually means that the actor is really good at acting. I hated his character so much, he was just a cruel, giant dickhead that i at the end of the drama felt really bad for. Out of all the bad guys i've seen in dramas, he's "my favourite" i guess you could say. I hated him for about 85% of the series, but you do understand after some time why he is the way he is, and the ending, i can't even talk about it, i'll cry.
Music: Wasn't bad, but nothing that phased me.
Rewatch value: 5. Going through the pain you feel emotionally while watching this drama is something you only need to do once.

Park Seo-joon is one of my favourite actors, and Hyung-shik is a great actor, Minho is pretty good to (i'm not gonna deny the fact that i'm a Shinee fan) and Taehyung debuting as an actor made me really excited too ( I'm not gonna deny the fact that i'm a BTS fan either), and i don't have much to say about Go Ah ra's acting, because this is the first drama i've seen with her in it. I heard from others that she was a good actress though, so i'm sure she is.
So basically...I was really excited about this drama.
Hwarang was pretty hyped up too.
I heard people talking about Hwarang as early as February/March and hyping it up like nothing else.
Originally Hwarang was supposed to air in the middle of 2016, but they kept pushing the airing date behind and my initial thoughts were that it really must be great then, if the reason they were delaying the drama was that they were being precise with the filming and editing of this drama.
(Because it is a beautiful drama, the colours and the lighting and the feel this drama gives of with just looking at it is really nice, and the people in this drama too, are really beautiful.)
But ever since this drama started airing i've just been wondering what took them so long. If their going to delay a drama and hype it up this much, it better be good. But honestly, what even is this drama's storyline?
I don't feel like there is much happening in this drama, at least nothing that makes sense to me. I've tried liking this drama, i really have. I've seen 11 episodes of it although i didn't really think it was interesting and that was to be honest just to support Taehyung and Seo-joon.
Everytime i've tried watching this drama i've been so bored that i've even fallen asleep. It's so sad to see this happening. An amazing cast, gone to waste.
If i'm going to say something nice about this drama, i can say that i thought the acting was really good (as expected from these actors.) The problem with this drama is purely the storyline. The casting and the music is great, it's just that the storyline (if there even is one) is so boring.
I've seen some people saying that it gets better from episode 10,11,12 or something like that, but honestly...if it takes 12 episodes for a drama to become interesting...It's not worth watching, unless you're watching it to support the actors of course.
(I feel like i've said the word casting and actors a lot in this review)
Overall, just disappointing. Right now it's on my "on-hold" list, but i'm pretty sure i won't be finishing this drama.

I watched about 30 minutes into episode one and then put it to the side and eventually forgot about it.
I never really thought about continuing this drama until i finished my last drama and didn't know what to watch next. I saw that this was on my on-hold or dropped dramas list, and thought that i might as well try watching it again and see if i like it. I didn't have many expectations for this drama when i picked it up again, i thought i had dropped it because i didn't like it. I watched episode 2 and was like "it's an alright drama", but then i found myself getting more and more into it and episode by episode this drama went from "alright" to "Asdfghjkl, IT'S AMAZING".
------------The actual review starts here------------
This drama was to me, like a nice breath of fresh air. After watching some pretty insane dramas with big dramatic plots that makes you question everything and make up theories on what will happen next, it's always nice to take a break and just watch something a bit more lighthearted, where you don't have to think so much and you can just sit there and enjoy the drama. Shopping king louie was exactly that, it's a short and sweet rom-com.
When you read the storyline it might sound a lot like a melodrama, but everything in this drama is played out in a very casual, lighthearted and comedic way that it doesn't make it feel melodramatic at all. Even when there's those cliche scenes that would usually spell out melodrama right away, like the car crash and the amnesia, it doesn't feel melodramatic at all. It's just a nice drama to watch if you don't know what to watch next or you need a break from the more "extreme" dramas.
Story: The storyline of this drama is a twist on something we've all seen before.
A person that lived a somewhat tragic childhood, struggles with things because of that tragic childhood, later on in life. It's the same in this drama. A child that was overprotected and isolated from the world as a kid, grew up with close to no friends and shops his feelings and problems away. The concept of the story is not different, but how the story is played out is different and that's what really matters. I absolutely loved this drama. The comedy was there, i laughed so much while i was watching this drama. Seo In-guk's character was just too cute and a"dork"able and i can't even...
The chemistry was also most defiantly there.
Acting/cast: Great. It's the first drama with Seo In-guk that i've seen and liked. I tried watching Reply 1997 and I remember you, but i didn't end up finishing either of them. But after seeing him act in this drama, i've
considered finishing the other dramas with him in, or at least giving them one more chance. (i just really fell for him.)
I've never seen Nam Ji hyun before, so i can't say anything about my experience with her from before, but she did well in this drama at least.
The rest of the cast was also just great in general.
Music: I loved the music for this drama, especially Tiger moth by Kihyun (the acoustic version asdfghjkl) i just loved that song.
Rewatch value: 8 because i'd watch it again, but not right away and probably not from the very beginning.

I really didn't expect liking this one as much as i ended up doing. I was really hesitant with beginning to watch this drama for 2 reasons.
1. When i read the plot it sounded like a melodrama and i'm not that into melodramas.
2. This is a police, detective, crime drama and i haven't been super impressed by those sort of dramas in k-drama land yet.
But this drama proved me wrong. It turned out to be way more comedic than what i thought while going into it and i was really into all the cases they solved and it felt almost like i was a part of their team and trying to figure out what was happening in the cases along with them. This drama made me laugh out loud, it was really funny and when i wasn't laughing i was usually frustrated. All the bad people in this drama almost made me rip my hair out, out of frustration.
Story: To make it short, i think this is the comedic and more, i guess you could say, lighthearted version of Remember-War of the son. I got the same vibe from the storyline, but Remember were not as easy to watch as this one because Remember was more melodramatic and exaggerated to a point of almost becoming to much (but i loved it though) and it didn't have those witty lines and funny characters like You're all surrounded does. They both have sort of the same thing going.
The main character decides to become a detective (or a lawyer) because the people that were solving a case involving their parent in the past didn't do their job right and they want to solve the case themselves. And the fact that the main focus wasn't the romance between the main characters but actually more on the storyline. I really liked it, although i'm a sucker for romance it was still awesome and it did have romance in it, it's just that i didn't feel like that's what they were focusing on, which turned out be be okay in the end. A lot of dramas tend to almost forget the storyline and the comedy in a rom-com once the romance start playing out. But that didn't happen here.
Acting/cast: I absolutely loved the characters in this drama. They were all really well written and acted out. I'm also really happy that i watched this drama, because the only drama with Go Ah-ra i had seen before this one, was Hwarang and i didn't like her character or that drama just in general, so it was nice to see a drama i liked with her in it and get another perspective of her as an actress.
Lee Seung gi is one of my many favourite actors, i absolutely loved My girlfriend is a Gumiho and i will be watching more of his dramas in the future. All in all, great cast, great acting.
Music: 10/10 because they used My chemical romance-Welcome to the black parade in the ending of the first 5-8 episodes, and i love MCR. They also had some great OST's though.
Rewatch value: i probably won't rewatch it because i never rewatch dramas, but for people that do, the rewatch value is 10/10.
It is just overall a fantastic drama.

I started watching Lucky romance because the plot sounded very different and also i was really curious to see what this drama was like because Hwang Jang eum was in it and although she's not exactly my favourite actress she's really good at choosing roles. I really loved her character in Lucky romance, although i have to say that her stylist really should get fired. It was like they were trying to promote as many pieces of clothing as possible in one outfit (maybe that's what they were doing). But besides that, no complaints, i think she played her role well in this drama.
But without a doubt, the one that really stole my heart in this drama was Ryu Jun-yeol's character. I sat through most of this drama smiling like an idiot and wishing i was the female lead because he was so cute. Lucky romance is basically a cuteness overload. I loved the awkward and geeky Ryu Jun-yeol trying to make Hwang Jang-eum's character love him, i loved watching their relationship develop, and i loved the chemistry, it was just so good. If you love romantic comedies then you will love this, this was romance and comedy at its finest. Lucky romance is truly an underrated drama and out of all the dramas i watched in 2016, this was my favourite. I don't even know what else to say than that i absolutely loved this drama, i don't have anything negative to say about it.

That's the words i'd use to explain this drama. It's not a drama with a big mindblowing plot but it's not meant to either. It's a more lightweight sweet comedic drama that is in my opinion, definitley worth a watch.
I really enjoyed this drama, i can't tell you why, i just really loved it. If i were to point out something about this drama that i don't like, i'd have to say that it's a bit dragged at times, but not so much that it becomes a big problem to me.
Overall, a good drama.

Story:
When i first saw the plot of this drama and heard the title, i immediately thought of "Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok joo", and wasn't to excited about watching it. Now don't get me wrong, i looooved "Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok joo". I just thought it was unnecessary to make a new drama with the same plot, all over again. Especially since "Weightlifting fairy Kim Bok joo" just fininshed airing not too long ago.
But once "Strong Woman Do Bong soon" started airing, people started talking about it a lot and therefore, i had to watch it.
When i started watching it, i loved it right from the start.
Although it, in some ways, are similar to "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo", it wasn't as similar as i had feared. It's mostly just the fact that both of the female leads are strong and doesn't live up to the stereotypical "pretty-like-a-doll" girls that we are used to seeing in dramas, and the fact that both dramas are romantic comedies. In a way you could say that "Strong Woman Do Bong soon" is the "adult" version of "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok joo". "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" is more "dark" i guess you could say.
You have the creepy kidnapper, and the adult jokes, that made it more "mature", while "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok joo" was more sweet and not as "dark".
(The reason for why i'm using ("") when i say "dark", is because "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" wasn't really that dark either. It's mostly just an absolutely hilarious and sweet drama, but it's "darker" than "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo", if you get what i mean...why are both of those titles so long?").
Overall the story was great and entertaining all the way 'till the very end.
Acting:
I have officially added another actor and actress to my favourite-actors/actresses list. I have seen dramas with both before, and they both did well in those too,
it's just that i like to see actors act different types of roles before i make my mind up on wether i think they're good actors or not, and i can honestly say that Park Hyungshik and Park Bo young are great actors.
Their chemistry was great, they were such a cute couple and their bickering is the best thing i've seen this year, or the next best thing i've seen this year after the bromance.
Can we just take a minute to talk about how much i ship Hyungshik and Jisoo, like for real. I kinda hoped that this drama would take a turn and that Hyungshik's character actually was gay but...you can't always get what you want now can you?
Music:
The music was good, very fitting with the superhero theme that this drama has. I don't have much more to say.
It was good.
Rewatch value:
9/10, because i don't really rewatch dramas, but it's a drama i could've rewatched, if that makes any sense.
Overall:
All i have to say, is that i think "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" is the best drama that has aired so far (of the once i've seen at least) this year! Loved it.

Short dramas like this one are usually not that great, but this one wasn't half bad.
I enjoyed watching it, i like the plot but i don't necessarily love the way the plot was played out.
I like the idea of this drama and the over all story line, but the relationship, how they get together and how fast everything happens, maskes it really unrealistic, but you shouldn't have too high expectations when you watch these dramas, they are trying to tell us a story in a very limited amount of time which can be hard, but this is by far the best short drama that i've watched.
7/10

Doctor stranger was a drama i went into and started watching with pretty high expectations. Right from the beginning of the drama, i was really into it, i thought it was really interesting and i honestly thought "this must be the best drama i've ever watched". But as the series goes on, it just goes downhill.
Now, i don't think doctor stranger is a bad series, i really don't. I think the idea they had for this drama, is really cool/interesting. The whole thing about communism and North-korea, it's just a really interesting concept, and it was too...for the first 5-6 episodes, after that the series sort of falls flat and becomes really repetitious. There was a lot of surgery scenes and a lot of scenes where Park Hoon was trying to convince his ex-girlfriend that she was his ex-girlfriend, I also found myself disliking her more and more as the series goes on, and by the middle of the drama, i was hoping that he'd just forget her and date "quack" instead. Some people say they think it gets better towards the end, i honestly don't think so. I absolutely loved the OST to this drama though. Bobby Kim-Stranger, I think that song especially, fits really well with the drama. So my overall thought are that Doctor stranger is that K-drama that could've been amazing. If they had just put in a bit more effort with the scriptwriting, it would've been great. But i will say the acting was great (Lee Jong Suk did great and i loved his character), the storyline (the idea of the drama) was great and the music was great.
I hope that someone will come out with a drama that has the same concept as Doctor Stranger, just better.

Everything about this drama was great. The plot...great, the acting...GREAT, the chemistry...AMAZING. If you love romance, this is the one for you. The main characters chemistry is amazing in every way. This is a slightly more "mature" drama. When i say mature, i don't mean that you have to be an adult to watch this, i'm just saying that if you think sex is an awkward subject, or you think that psychological and medical dramas are boring, this might not be for you.
This drama touches on many important subjects. Mental illness, sex, domestic violence and more. And all that in only 16 episodes, it's fantastic.
i just need to mention how much i love and adore Gong Hyo-jin, she's a great actress.
I don't really have much more to say. The drama was great, the acting was great and the music was great, it was overall just great and i'll probably rewatch it at some point.

When i saw that this drama was described as a melodrama i thought it would be boring, but although it is a melodrama the characters are quite quirky and fun and there’s actually quite a lot of comedy in this drama in general for a melodrama, which made it easier to watch. I know that a lot of people said that they thought it was sad, and although it's not the saddest drama that i've watched, i definitely felt the tears coming at one or two scenes in this drama.
Story:
A time travelling CEO sees that his future is looking tough and marries a failed actress to solve it. Although the plot wasn’t played out the way i expected it would be, i liked the drama. I love the idea of the drama and seeing him travel back and forth in time and trying to fix things and change the future for the better was just really interesting, and you’ve gotta love "Bap Soon". The only thing i would say is that i feel like it's sorta slow at times, but not to the point where it becomes a problem.
Acting:
The acting was great. Shin Min ah was amazing as always and Lee Je hoon did great too, i hadn’t seen any of his past dramas so i didn’t know about him before watching this, but i sure will watch some of his dramas now. The romance was great to, the chemistry and the kissing scenes were great, and they truly acted like they were a real married couple.
Overall the casting was just really good, i didn’t have a problem with any of the actors or actresses at least.
Music:
Very fitting to the mood of the drama, nothing i would listen to outside of this drama, the ost’s are just kinda slow, but as i said, it fit very well with the mood of the drama.

It wasn't a drama that blew me away and that i watched episode after episode of, like what i thought it would be. It's a romantic comedy (which i loved), the episodes are not that long (to a person that has watched a lot of dramas and that are used to episodes being one hour long at least, they weren't long, around 45 min) and there's only 16 episodes, so i thought i'd finish this drama quickly, but it took me longer than expected. I liked most of the drama, but there were some reasons why i didn't like it as much as i thought i would.
1. I really didn't like Park Shin-hye's character, she was like an overdramatic teenage girl that made every problem bigger than what it really needed to be, she never listened or trusted anyone, although they were good people. I get that she couldn't know that and that she was bullied, and all the reasons that made her that way, but still i felt like she was slightly overdramatic about a lot of things, and... i don't even know, i just didn't like her character in this drama (i have nothing against Park Shin-hye as an actress though, just to clear that out).
2. I wasn't super into the romance between the main characters in this drama. I found myself more interested in the romance between the editor and Dong hoon. (those charcters were hilarious, and together, even more).
3. It felt like the storyline was taken straight out from a fanfiction. The typical shy girl that was bullied, meets popular/famous and handsome heart throb, that just so happened to move into the apartment right across from where she lives. It jus felt like a fanfiction coming to life.
But still this drama was an okey series. It's a good "inbetween-dramas drama", you know those dramas that you watch because you're not sure what to watch next or you're waiting for another drama to start airing. It is a very light hearted romantic comedy that is easy to watch, although it's a bit boring at times (not gonna lie), it has a lot of witty/funny scenes and some cute romantic scenes and is overall an okey drama.
When it comes to the music and the acting i don't really have much to say, i didn't really pay attention to the music in this drama, and the acting was the typical romantic comedy acting where you overdramatise things and act silly. It's a bit difficult for me to judge the acting in romantic comedies because of this, i feel like i have to see other dramas with the same actors to be able to tell you if they're good actors or not, so i can say this, Park Shin-hye (I've seen her in Pinocchio, The heirs and You're beautiful), Kim Seul Gi (Oh my ghost) and Go Gyeong-pyo (Jealousy incarnate) are good actors. Can't say anything about the rest because i haven't seen enough of them, but overall an okey drama.
