I had to watch the live one because of how much i enjoyed the storyline from the anime and i can honestly say that Fukukawa Yuki's display of Irie drawn me in even more; despite his much worse comments towards Aihara. Once again i was saddened for my guy did not get the girl but also glad because in the last episode we are shown how his love would have just been wasted on her.
ACTING: (10 for Furukawa Yuki and 6 for Miki Honoka)
It was nice to of them to keep on the height difference portrayed in the anime as well, however, they would have benefited from hiring a more better actress because at times she overacted (but i liked when she pulled the faces for they reminded me of those in the anime - hehehe). But then compared to Furukawa's acting which was on point with his character from beginning to until the end; that was then when it crossed my mind that she may just be a young actress for i already knew he was already in his 20s. And after completing the series i find out that they have a 10yr difference (thank goodness i did not know this as i watched during certain scenes - sorry to those i have just slightly ruined their imagination)
OVERALL: (8 out of 10)
I would recommend this version for it is definitely better than the anime and quick y enough to keep you entertained :)

Quite confused why this drama has more low scores than high for i actually liked it. Yes i am disappointed that she lost her quirkiness once he fell for her but you quickly forget and still smile with them.
The brother had me worried with his feelings but thankfully they did not have him acting upon them again. The aunt was at times too noisy and just a hater and the fact she befriends the one that took her man still has me questioning the relevance within the show. Literally just concetrate on the main 2 characters because the other supporting actor's relevance is not important and just makes the show longer for no reason
ACTING:
They was not outstanding acting but they did their job

The only time I was this moved by anything besides my own life was the manga “Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan“; but unlike the manga, this was a replica of someone actual life. I was so emotional during the final episode I got a headache from crying o much. The tears and the realisation of the evitable ending of Aya, I just wanted to skip it all.
ACTING: I just found myself not caring at the acting of the actors due to the captivating story so all I can say the actors were neither bad nor good.
MUSIC: The usage of the one theme song was perfectly timed and played that I found myself you tubing the whole song.
LIKED: The usage of actual pictures and diary entries of the real Aya provides a surreal moment and insight of her struggles; a nice sentimental touch that helps relate and remind the messages and awareness of the disease and courage she had. Additional to the doctor’s story about the little boy (episode 3)
DISLIKED: I struggle to pinpoint something I disliked, but if I had to pick something that would have made this drama even more spectacular, it would be scripting in more well-known actors to provide more acknowledgement of the this life lesson portrayal.
CONCLUSION:
You should watch this drama if you enjoy genres such as family – slice of life – love – great plot – friendship – school – illness – nonfiction – marriage – hospitalisation – drama – tragedy – A MUST WATCH – history – depression – hope – crying – melodrama…

So I spent half the movie bored and confused why Tae Sung and Hae Won had hated each other (which is not even explained) or why Tae Sung kept calling Han Kyung nanu. Even when it was explained how they knew each other; it was just caused me to question whether they still wanted me to carry on assuming whether their relationship was romantic based.
CHARACTERS: 4.8/10 - ACTING: 4.5/10
No offence but the characters in this movie lacked individuality. All three characters felt like previously watched characters with no development or even outstanding acting. #MEDIOCORE
MUSIC: 3/10
I recall one song which was not captivating to note.
LIKED – The potential they could have had if they spent more time and had more originality in the character development.
DISLIKED – That I spent most of the movie confused (one thing after another – beginning to end).
CONCLUSION:
You should watch this drama if you enjoy genres such as ROMANCE – FAMILY – GRIEF – LOVE – CHEATING – HIGH SCHOOL – POINTLESS FLYKICKING – FRIENDSHIP – ILLNESS – FLASHBACKS – HOPE – MELODRAMA - JEALOUSY.

STORYLINE: (10 out 0f 10)
The storyline itself is difenetely of the mature nature. The paste is smooth and not rushed and as they relationship changed and her attempt to seduction was by far the best parts (his end comments summarises it all). I could have easily watched this as a drama to see how he breaks it to her ways were just straight weird - funny to watch but totally cringing to be the recipient.
ACTIING: (10 out of 10)
I have no fault to make of the acting for all actors potraited their characters convincingly.

Only good thing beside the eye candy was merely the fact Choi Sulli actually looked like a boy and all the actors had good actoring abilities

I really thought Koizora would pick me up, but totally the opposite. At one point it really looked like happiness was on the horizon but that was short lived. I could not even feel sorry for Mika by the end for some reason :(

I could not carry on watching so dropped it after they tried to put ridiculous and predictable twist such as an ex and jealousy and his feelings. Would not have probably minded if they told the story in a shorter length. Eight more episodes seemed easier to just predict for myself instead of sitting through. I really hoped she was kept as the kiss-a** lady from the first episode, but that was lost once she was hired. But I did enjoy the scenes he kept getting hit by his father (hehehe)
Another reason for dropping this is the fact that I could tell that the one I rooted for (the underdog) was not going to end up with the girl.
ACTING:
Had no problem with the acting for Ji Sung and Kim Jae Joong potrayed their characters well and even managed to pull off the comedic scenes; storyline just failed them.

I do not think I had ever watched a live action that combined both horror and romance in a serious manner (for films such as Scream and Scary Movie do not count in my eyes). Spellbound did not disappoint in either genres; I mean it even had me in suspense of the plot after the disappointing turn around of the three way date. I found myself recalling “The Sixth Sense” movie which totally had me analysing both main actors as preparation of such plot twist. Thankfully they were both human, therefore able to die which was in turn played out (brief sadistic moment teehehehe).
CHARACTERS: 8.5/10
I added Spellbound on my to watch list due to the brief encounter of Lee Min Ki so I was anxious to watch him in something as a main lead which he totally delivered perfectly. The combination of a supernatural plot together with Lee Min Ki’s ghostly facial structure, he was the perfect candidate as lead.
ACTING: 9/10
And obviously let us not forget both Lee Min Ki and Son Ye Jin acting abilities are of actors that know how to lure their audience in (with compliments of a good script). Therefore, this movie was bound to captivate the view into a whirlwind of romantic hope with a hint of believable horror stunts/ graphics.
MUSIC: 6/10
I merely rate the music aspect pf the movie as a 6 not as a form of dislike but merely due to the fact that I was not provided enough to judge. I cannot really recall a moment of a song being played but they are moments where musical instruments are played which I believe were well placed for such scenes.
LIKED – Want I enjoyed the most and literally had me in stitches every time was Yoo Ri’s friend Min Jung (Son Ye Jin) and Yoo Ri getting drunk and ripping Jo Goo’s shirts (especially when he pulls out a spare one - PRICELESS). Additionally, the sexual comments were totally random that I could not help but laugh for until that point, I thought it was a PG rated movie as well as loved the originality of the storyline of the flashback in regards of the guardian angel necklace to explain the incident that changed Yoo Ri’s life.
DISLIKED – I would dislike Spellbound if they be no sequel :)
CONCLUSION:
You should watch this drama if you enjoy genres such as HORROR – ROMANCE – GOOD ACTING – GREAT PLOT – HUMOR – MISERY – FRIENDSHIP – DEATH – LIFE – CRIME SOLVING – GHOSTS – MAGIC – FICTION – SUSPENCE - CRYING – FLASHBACKS – LOVE STORIES.

Truly a masterpiece of well thought out and developed plot that allowed me to connect with the characters that I was able to relate with each breakthrough in their relationship. ‘A Moment To Remember’ is now one of my favourite movies because the combination of both the storyline and acting captivates you into Su-jin and Cheol Su’s most charming meeting and unfortunate luck in life. Each scene was never wasted by providing an atmosphere of various emotions throughout. Initially you are joyous and hopeful with their new found love but gradually you are provided hints of wants to come. Then slowly the realisation that it was fiction started showing its face with the introduction of additional characters and hints the bad luck of life.
Ps I was truly suprised that he went topless for it is not something you see often in Asain films/ dramas but i cant complain for it provided me with my new favoirite eye candy "Jung Woo Sung".
ACTING: 10/10
Outstanding acting from both Son Ye Jin and Jung Woo Sung. Their chemistry as lovers truly radiated through the movie at each scene. The directorial of this movie was marvellous even during the scenes that merely just had music or facial expressions; the feeling of calm and love even in these scenes was well captured. Additional to the script that provides some truth and wisdom in regards of forgiveness.
MUSIC: 9/10
The music was well chosen and appropriately used.
LIKED: EVERYTHING about this movie; from beginning to end. I truly can't fault anything.
CONCLUSION: Watching this I recalled the comedic aspect of the western movie “50 First dates” additional to the emotions of unforeseen circumstances such as those in the “Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan” manga.
You should watch this drama if you enjoy genres such as romance – family – love – career – religion - forgiveness – money – tragedy – illness – crying - memories - believable acting.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was refreshingly funny and believable from the usual clichéd forceful relationship based plots I have seen before.
He was cool provides both a cute and relatable storyline especially from the male side of the storyline. His rude, abrupt and mysteries personality is gradually explained which in turn shown why his morals in life were like so. Because his life story is explained in slowed paste, I could sympathy with the characters being portrayed’s emotions/ feelings; especially as more and more of Ji Eun’s past is revealed.
The romance aspect of the movie provided the platform needed for Ye-Won’s character.
ACTING: 6.5/10
Unfortunately I felt Jeong Da Bin’s acting was lacking for most of the movie; however, Song Seung Hun’s abilities were somewhat good enough to give life to the movie (he totally out acts Jeong Da Bin).
LIKED: When she kissed him in front of them all. The tension afterwards made the scene even more exciting as well as her sexy outfit look was just so hilariously bad and her getting stuck just sent me in hysteria. Additionally, the accidental three way phone call involving Ye-Won’s mum when Ji Eun rings her home number hahahaha
CONCLUSION:
You should watch this movie if you enjoy genres such as ROMANCE – FIRST LOVE – ILLNESS – MELODRAMA - SCHOOL – FIGHTING – REBELLION – HOSPITALISAION – FLASHBACKS – DEATH – GIRLINESS – SECRETS – FAMILY - TRAGEDY – COMEDY – FIRST KISS – CRYING.

I give this movie a four star merely for its effort of a potentially good plot concept of bravery and freedom but the plot this time round seemed off key compared to the first one. I literally spent most of the film feeling like i had missed an explanation; especially when I caught myself realising that it was unnecessary explanation. This happened so often it took me like twice as long to complete the movie.
CHARACTERS:
I just did not find myself getting attached to any characters even those that felt like they were placed there as mains.
ACTING:
Most of the actors overacted so much it felt like the film was filled with first tie actors. I would advise that you use imagination to in vision the supposed emotions meant to be portrayed.
LIKED – the closest thing to make me like this movie was the authenticity of the first student’s head being blown off; probably the best acting of the whole movie.
DISLIKED – They teacher’s (Riki Takeuchi) speech at the beginning set up the bad acting to come, but at least some of the students had slightly better acting abilities than their older counterparts.
CONCLUSION:
You should watch this drama if you enjoy genres such as war – high school - child actors – bad acting – crying – friends – freedom - students – suicide – tragedy – gore – hope – institution – sequels.
I am just gratefully to get it out of the way and off my “to watch list”.

This was my first ever none western scifi show and I enjoyed it for it entertained as well as provided me with thought. Long Love Letter portrays a possibility of what could happen to the human race and once we got to the school scenes because suddenly both teachers and students’ behaviour to survive defers from the typical manner usually portrayed in school based dramas or anime which continuously had me glued onto the screen that I finished the whole drama in one sitting. The tremor happens at the ending of the first episode leaves you weirded out in regards of what genre the drama belonged to because here was me thinking it was going to be the same old school based plots. What happens to those within the school totally directs this drama in a whole new genre of SURVIVAL and CONFUSION with not only the characters, but myself too.
Despite its not yet worthy graphics that were used back in 2002; they usage of storytelling and camera angles actually managed to make me tense up at times.
ACTING: 8.5/10
The chemistry between Kubozuka Yosuke and Tokiwa Takako seems so natural for them that it is that more saddening how the drama concludes their relationship. Additionally, you can tell that for most the student’s it the role was new to them so they efforts I commend for they at least managed for most of the drama to make me believe. With Ichihara Hayato, However, I would like to praise The acting was not bad to watch Kubozuka Yosuke for his effort to try look older than his fellow actors whom portrayed the students but are actually near his age in real life. But in honesty they are moments were his young looking face failed him. Ps his face when he sulked is so cute to watch. As for the other characters
MUSIC: 4/10
The music really didn’t suit drama but it is funk which helps you get out the funk the drama ends up putting you in.
FAVORITE CONCEPT: Ending of episode 8 was my favourite for it provided both joy and hope to a very sad reality they were living.
PERSONAL THOUGHT: As humans we have unfortunately become unaware of the earth we need to survive, instead we treat it as both our source of life and dumping place.
CONCLUSION:
In a gist, Long Love Letter drama is Korean’s attempt at recreating a similar survival plot as that in Lost (American TV series). Therefore you should give watch this drama a go if you enjoy genres such as HINT of COMEDY – CHEESINESS – CUTENESS – LOVE – MEMORIES – MYSTERY – DEATH – RESILIENCE – HOPE - SCIENCE FICTION – MELO DRAMA - EARTH – PEACE – TIME – SPACE – FAMILY – SCHOOL – FOOD – SURVIVAL – FEAR – KIDNAPPING – SENSIE – STUDENTS – FUTURISTIC.

STORYLINE: 7.5/10 - CHARACTERS: 8/10I would have given this drama a higher rating if it weren’t so long.
Poor Ma Fuya constantly manages to find herself in some sort of struggle. The lengths jealous characters try to keep Ma Fuya from gaining power or provide the twists and backstabbing that make this drama worth watching. Despite all, Ma Fuya I bet is comforted by the thought of knowing that she goes through life and even manages to convoy the love/ affection from three future rulers. Introduction of the Princess is a drama that follows the path Ma Fuya finds herself when she seeks to avenge her supposed fallen family. As I watched the last few episodes, I caught myself recalling the innocence and lively persona start this drama gave off. Twists, deaths, betrayal and frowned upon love made the finale that more saddening right until the end. The reintroduction of Ma Fuya’s *cough cough* because they return came with enough darkness to pump up the drama that was starting to drag. They provide the fiery edge of your sit feeling right until the end.
The usage of new characters or giving supporting characters more input of the flow of the drama provides ever addictive twist to the storyline which in turn makes you carry on watching more episodes due to the suspense of the path the drama is taking.
ACTING: 9/10
The main actors and actress Ma Fuya, her love interests, mother-in-law and competition portray their character’s emotions believably. I will be checking out Lin Ruby, Mao Zi Jun, Yang Tony and Huo Wallace’s other productions for they stood out the most for me.
MUSIC: 8/10
The songs used fit within the atmosphere of the drama both instrumentally and lyrically.
LIKED: the wine offering scene (episode 37) was the best from the drama. This is because we are able to see into most of the character’s hearts and motives for the throne and Ma Fuya. Each actors’ captivating actions are so relatable for their character that I could not stop smiling despite the evilness of the scene. AMAZING
DISLIKED: As much I was entertained for most of this drama, 44 episodes still felt longwinded especially after the guy I was rotting for died. SPOILER: Furthermore, the whole killing off literally EVERY character left me feeling as if I should not have wasted all that time.
CONCLUSION:
Well if you enjoy a rollercoaster of PARTNER SWAPPING and BETRAYAL, this drama shall truly keep you entertained. Additionally, you should watch this drama if you enjoy genres such as EXILE – POWER – LOVE – ROYALTY – DEATH – MARRIAGE – WAR – CONCUBINES – FAMILY – VENGENCE - GREAT ACTING – PLOT TWISTS – MEDDLING CHARACTERS – BACKSTABBING – FIRST LOVE – DESIRE – LONGING – UNACQUAINTED LOVE – HOPE – SACRIFICE – POISON – SWORDMANSHIP – REVENGE.

STORY:
Definitely nothing as I had imagined. Does keep you hooked through the questioning thoughts of each scene. Many scenes I did not know whether to take it serious or see the funny side so many times I watched on in neutral until revealed. The awkwardness and uncomfortableness and fear when dealing with the king did manage to overflow into me that I myself did not dare laugh until the king did (it also helps to know that his laugh is funny) . And of course someone had to die :( ...
ACTING:
Was well believable; got nothing to add :)
SOUNDTRACK:
In honesty the soundtrack song is the reason I found out about the film :)
