Like this is the first actual movie I binge watched without any breaks at all! (only bathroom breaks) AND THAT DOESNT HAPPEN LIKE AT ALL IN MY CASE. I heard about rumours that early next year season two will be out and IM THRILLED!
EVEN THE VILLAIN CHARACTERS, I LOVED!
Yan'Er s ''stupidity'' was justified, she didnt deserve to die imo
BUT FANGS GRANDSON??? THE GOVERNANTS NEPHEW?????? You bet I have a love-hate relationship with that character. I never had one of those before. I either HATED a villain or LOVED a villain, there was never anything in between-

It had so much potential, but the drama deserved a better script.
The actors are really talented. Its the change to the story that made it to be less enjoyable.
I personally dislike the fact that the ending seems kind of rushed, the comments and reviews are making people question if this is even worth the watch. I finished watching it.
All in all the plot was alright, but I am quite disappointed with the ending.
I like how the relationship between ML and FL goes. I agree with others that the shine chen yu had in the beginning shifted to dong fang shi in the later half.

Im honestly amazed.
At first, there were characters that really annoyed me. Take Silver Snake for example, the first time I saw her, I knew she would bring trouble for the main couple.I will be honest and say that the middle of the movie (episode 11 to episode 41) was really, really great written.
You know that saying which goes something along the lines of ...
“If you hate a movie that means it has an amazingly written plot”
and I couldnt agree more. I was thinking to drop it, but im so glad i did not.
I skipped 1-2 episodes at most overall, besides playing the movie at speed 1.25.
The actors did a wonderful job aswell! Last 10 episodes were just so painfull yet so fulfilling.
I cant understand people who said that King Bailing didnt get a good enough of a punishment, in my eyes, what matters is that he realised what he has done wrong, and repelled for his mistakes.
Im really curious about wht happend to the couple of Wu Zhi Qi and Zi Hu. I really wished I could see them get married or somewhere living their best life.
I could say tons of stuff about this movie but That would be just me rambling.
I was thinking a few days ago what would happen, and if ill regret starting this drama, my answer to that is that:
I DONT REGRET WATCHING IT !

A MUST WATCH!
Love the cast, ost, the actors are so powerful, the acting is so on point! no cringiness, no awkwardness! this drama really left me messmerised. This is the first modern chinese drama ive watched so far (only watched historical ones before) Lu Si Cheng and Tong Yao's chemistry is so high like it can go up to the sky. The other roles like K, Lao Mao, Fatty, Lu Yue, God Ming, EVERYONE DID AN AWESOME JOB! I love everything, the movie has the best good-looking cast i ever seen!! Really hopping for season 2 to be announced!Lots of sweet moments! Lots of happy and funny moments! But I wont forget that i did tear up at some point too.
THIS IS A MUST WATCH GUYS! just cmon. Give it a try babyyy
