Really hard for people to hate
I have a hard time thinking that anyone truly disliked Colour Rush, i can however understand why some people thought it was mediocre.
I loved the concept of the show with some people only being able to see black, white and shades of gray(monos) until they met their "destined partner" or probe. It was a fresh consept as well as giving a reason for people to naturally accept the main couple in the sligtly more conservative when it comes to lgbtq+ country korea. Since the pairing was destined no one could argue about the gender of them. I also really loved slightly dark twist with how easy it was for the monos to become obsessed with the probe since it was the only way for them to see colour, as well as the probes and the "normal" people being scared of the monos for just this reason.
The characters were given intresting backstorys as well as their own traumas and beliefs however none of these were really explored. You didn't even really get to know anything about Go Yoo Han until one of the last episodes. I just feel that the show had so much potential that it didn't quit live up too since it's only a 8 x 15 show.
With this being said should you watch it? Yes if you like some nice cozy BL-drama, or if you just want a short and sweet drama to pass some time with then do it, im probably gonna re-watch it since i did like the general vibe of it and im a sucker for BL-dramas. I just really wish that they do some kind of contionuation of this since the show didn't quit feel finished.
